Note: I just had to do it so be ready. This is short but I just couldn't make it longer.

Thousand of guests were chatting with each other making this joyous noise filled the room. Everyone seemed to be happy and some had tears beaming on their eyes. Well, today was a special day, not just for the people inside the room but for the couple that was about to enter it.

Bells rang and as the sun shined making today a truly perfect day. Everyone was happy even though the ceremony hadn't start yet. People just settled to mingle and talk about the past but in a few more minutes their loud chatters will turn into either a crying one or an even louder one.

Before things blow into complete chaos there was a man inside closed doors standing in front of a mirror frozen solid. He didn't even look like he was breathing anymore. He almost resembles a wax figure and what gave him away was that he was actually a living breathing person was the slight movement of his chest.

"Hyung!?" A loud voice snapped him back to reality. He then heard a few snaps of fingers from beside him. Jooheon stood next to him looking very puzzled and disturbed. He then gestured to the watch he was wearing.

"Why do you keep dozing off?" Jooheon just shook his head as he walked off towards the door leaving the once frozen man now complete lost. He aimlessly fixed his tie looking dead straight at the mirror contemplating if everything he did was enough to make the love of his life feel happy.

The music began to play and the people stood up looking at the beautiful wooden door waiting for it to open. Just like that he appeared in this mesmerizing white tux. A big smile on his face was enough to lit up the whole room. Another man stood at the front almost tearing up seeing the man he loved looked so happy.

Every step he took brought back every memory he once cherished between them. Time suddenly slowed down as the man in front of him began to resemble the once chubby kid he first laid eye's on. His white tux turned into this colorful stripped polo with this really cute red shorts.

The day they meet just so happened to be a time where this clumsy kid dropped his ice cream cone. So naturally a white knight appeared and sacrificed his own ice cream for him. This clumsy kid now changed into a teenager. A school uniform was now on his body even though he grew older his smile towards him was still the same.

Time was cruel back then and so was that smile knowing a few words would make that smile disappear forever. That was why most of his life held back not wanting to sacrifice their friendship for more.

The feeling fear was once all he could feel every time they were together but he learnt that he didn't have to in the end. Like a huge wave everything came flooding back every smile, hugs, promises, anger and fear. It all lead to just this moment a day he would never forget for the rest of his life.

"I can't believe this is happening!" No words could explain how happy the man in front of him looked. His voice just went up to another level, but nothing could match him more than the person he was facing that had this signature eye smile that hardly makes his eyes even visible.

"And now the rings." The priest looked at Shownu who was still in daze. The ceremony had already jump stared but unfortunately Shownu felt like he was stuck. His mind was buried with questions.

Kihyun gave out a small nudge towards Shownu seeing he was out of it completely gone from this world. That seemed to snap him back to reality but unfortunately he didn't know what was happening around him to notice what the problem was.

"Shownu the rings..." Kihyun shook his head trying not to laugh at the man who was out of it. He knew it wasn't the right time to break out in a fit of laughter when it was finally time to make it official.

"Oh yeah sorry." Shownu then grabbed the ring giving a small smile towards Kihyun. He just couldn't help but give out his best smile. For the love of his life he would do anything. As Kihyun took the ring he then started to say the words needed but he added his own twist.

"With this ring I Yoo Kihyun will love you in sickness and in health not even death can separate us." With a bit more flare and exaggerated gestures Kihyun looked at the love of his life who was smiling from ear to ear. He even changed some part to just make it more dramatic. Kihyun then proceeded to grab the later’s hand as he placed it on top of his heart.

Shownu gave out a gentle smile towards Kihyun seeing he was being cheeky as always. It was so like him to act like this when he was helplessly in love. Not to long the crowed gave out a few laughs but no one was squealing with more joy than the person who had Kihyun's heart.

"Oppa!"

"I can't help it." Kihyun laughed seeing the love of his life turn red like the bouquet she was holding. She then began to give Kihyun light punches seeing her soon to be husband in a few minutes just couldn't help but be cheesy in front of her family.

After a few more cute argument they finally settled down and continue. She then took the ring from her brides maid and looked straight into Kihyun's eyes. She felt so happy to be with him and Kihyun felt the same way.

"With this ring I will love you Yoo Kihyun..."

After that Shownu went back to his earlier state. He let his mind swallow him whole as his body went on auto pilot. Good thing was he didn't have to give out his best smile when pretending he was happy the whole time. Time flew by and so was the bitter ending of Shownu's poor smashed up heart.

"You may now kiss the bride."

"Love you mom and dad we will be back in two months tops." Kihyun and his wife hopped on to their limousine as they opened the sunroof to wave at everyone. The car started to move but then Kihyun spotted Shownu far from the crowd with his back facing him. He was walking away with nothing but ashes of his once so called heart.

"Shownu wait." Kihyun caught up to Shownu who still manage to give out a small smile towards him. Shownu couldn't bare to see Kihyun off so he decided to leave as soon as possible because he couldn't pretend to wave him goodbye with a smile on his face.

"Thank you for helping me with all of this." Kihyun gestured to everything knowing Shownu arranged everything when I say everything I mean everything including what flavor of cake they were supposed to have but canceled on the last minute not wanting to have any after parties.

"You're the world's best man and I couldn't have pick any one else but you." A set of hands was placed on both Shownu's shoulders. This hands felt so heavy that one finger felt like 20 stacks of bricks. But Shownu endured the pain knowing this maybe the last time. Just a few more minutes wouldn't hurt but in the end it did.

"Yeah I just gave it my best efforts so you could be happy." Shownu replied with the truth that had a mixture of endless pain and regret. His voice didn't show any signs of nothing but joy and happiness for Kihyun. Deep down all Shownu wanted to do was scream and tell Kihyun not to leave his side.

"What did you want to tell me before." Kihyun snapped his fingers remembering something important. He then tried to recall what Shownu called for that night before the wedding.

"Last night you called me and you were drunk..." Kihyun remembered he got a call from Shownu mumbling about something. He had this serious tone in his voice but he couldn't understand him when all he could hear was jumbled up words from the other end.

"Ah I was drunk I can't remember?" Shownu clearly remembers but all he did was say this random words. He had a rough couple of months so naturally he would drink every night. One thing was for sure even then he couldn't say it. Even though he was drunk he still didn't have any confidence to spit it out the truth.

"I know it was something important." Kihyun tapped his chin trying to remember those jumbled up words thinking there was any serious massage behind it. He also wanted to question why he was drunk in the middle if the night but Shownu stopped him.

"I don't remember besides I was drunk don't mind it and just go." Shownu didn't have time to explain his drinking problems today or any day when the reason for that problem to exist was standing in front of him. So like a good friend he gave him a slight push towards the limousine.

"I'm sure." Shownu gave out a nod looking straight at Kihyun's eye's. His beautiful eye's that held nothing but worry towards him as a friend. Shownu knew there was no other hidden feeling than just the love towards him as a friend.

"Ok. Thanks again for everything."

"I will see you when I get back." Kihyun ran off towards the car with that bounce in his steps. Kihyun waved towards Shownu as he ran back towards his wife who was also waving towards Shownu. Like the fool he was Shownu waved back with his last fake eye smile. It took everything in him to give out that one last fake eye smile.

Shownu just stared at the car that was long gone. He was the only person outside of the church still standing gazing at nothing. He was frozen on the spot until he saw the sun set. He didn't even know how long he was holding his breath but then he chocked out a sob.

Shownu covered his mouth fearing Kihyun would some how hear him. He tried to it up and yet he knew he will break down again. He reached inside the pocket of his tux to retrieve his handkerchief but then he felt a peice of paper.

The moment he pulled out this piece of paper he couldn't help but let out a bitter laugh. It was so funny looking at his own letter that he never had the chance to give. Shownu grabbed a fist full of his hair tugging it feeling that he was loosing his mind.

"Well my efforts wasn't enough because I never had the chance to give you this."Shownu let go as he watch the letter flew away. That letter could have ended him but at least Kihyun would have known. Shownu had no guts but he was good at pretending he was happy especially if it meant that Kihyun would be happy.

It was too late when he finally had the courage to give it to Kihyun years ago. He just so happened to witness Kihyun kneeling infront of his girlfriend. Shownu knew that it was impossible to do anything at that point. So his mission was to make him happy and support him until his wedding day ended.

"It's seems you need to find another world's best man because I can't be there anymore..." Shownu regretted everything from the day they first met to the day of their teenage years but nothing compared to this day when Kihyun left because he knew he could never admit his true feeling. He was a fool for giving up every opportunity to confess to him out of fear. This time he was willing to live as a fool forever if it meant that the one he loved would be happy.

"Goodbye my Love."

I know it's sad but hey we need some good sad endings in this short stories. Hope you liked it and hope you thought it was actually Shownu getting married. Next one will have a little more bite or a little more heart shattering story plot twist.

P.S This is for revenge to my fellow author who made this great fanfic and then he/she suddenly killed one of them in the end. I was so moved and so pissed at the same time lol. This is also for the people who likes angst.
