Kim Mingyu didn’t particularly have a great affinity for feline creatures, but he definitely does not have affinity for starving throughout lunch at college so he could pay his tuition expenses either, so he took up his cousin’s offer to work at his cat café as both a barista and cat-caretaker. Mingyu didn’t exactly have the correct basis to make coffee (or any drink for that matter), but he certainly got the knacks of picking skills up fast as it took him only a few tries to make a cup of cappuccino as instructed by a fellow colleague by the name of Hoshi.

Yet it actually took him a solid two weeks to warm up with the cats in the café. Mingyu had got to be thankful that it was his cousin’s lest he be fired before he could even start working there. The cats there don’t seem to particularly like him either; as proven by the constant hissing and attempts of scratching during his first week there.

He didn’t think there would be a day where he would actually ‘be friends’ with the feline community.

I'm making my svt fanfic debut with my ultimate ship crush minshua. Anyway in this verse, both of them (and most of svt) are college students in different performing arts major and Mingyu just got to save his by working with cats which he doesn't even like (lol he thought).
