"You can't be serious Im Jaebum!" Jisoo hissed at the conversant's statement. What the latter said was like a bomb thrown at her face. It was shocking and unexpected. Too unexpected that she didn't had an idea that after their usual meeting at their favorite cafe, Jisoo will regret that she came. Her vision scanned his face, trying to find  a tinge of humor.

"Ha! I knew it! Is this how you'll greet me a happy new year?  By tricking me? Heol."

She said exasperatedly but Jaebum remained silent. His face is begging her to hear him out.

"This isn't a joke then?"

Jaebum shook his head. He clasped her hands in him and began to plead.

"You heard me Jisoo, I just need a place to spend the holiday. Please. My dad suspects my true identity and I need an alibi why I won't go home."

He uttered, his voice slightly shaking.

"Maybe that's a better idea! I know it's not easy to come out but Jaebum-ah but I think it's best to tell them earlier. Besides, there's nothing wrong in being gay."

Jaebum understood her. She's not the first one who advised him to come out of his closet but his fear is bigger than him. He knows his father and there's no way he can accept him.

"I know Jisoo-yah. I will,okay? Someday, when the time is right but for now can you please help me? I owe you big time. Please. "

The pained look on his face made Jisoo melt in pity. Im Jae Bum was her first friend and she knows about his uality ever since. She accepts him whole-heartedly but it's still a shame that he is being taunted by society for something he didn't choose. She's doubtful about their plan but she doesn't have a choice. A friend is in need and she has to help him.

"Fine, you win. But what do I tell mom?"

"That you're bringing a friend? We don't have to lie you know."

"You're a guy. She'll not believe me if I said that we're just friends. They might get the wrong idea and besides Jinyoung will be-" She stopped for suddenly tasted bitter upon the mention of his name.

JB sipped his latte and stared at Kim Jisoo. He's aware of who Park Jinyoung is and truthfully, he's been dying to meet the guy who broke his friend's heart.  Jisoo started spacing out and he had to flick his fingers at her face to wake her up. He smiled widely.

"Isn't it better then? Let's make him jealous."

"He wouldn't
