It was a breezy evening in April by the bus stop. The sky was turning a vibrant pink and purple as lights were being in near by windows. The sun was setting, casting a warm and hazy glow on her as she ran through a rain of flower petals with her long black trench coat trailing behind her to catch the bus. Her black hair swayed in the wind, her twinkling brown eyes seemed to carry a million different dreams, and her bright, hopeful smile floored him. He watched as she hastily took a seat by the window and started pulling petals out of her hair. And then she looked up and her eyes immediately found his. Sparks went off in his head and a feeling of euphoria ran through his veins. He had been finishing all his work early, just so he could get to the bus stop for this one moment everyday ever since that fateful April evening. And this time he unintentionally flashed a smile at her.  

She returned it.  

One smile. At sunset. Under a cherry blossom tree. That's all it took.
