Yoona was about to head back inside her room until she spotted Yuri just outside the door in front of her dorm. She looked deep in thought and wondered what was on her mind.

“Yuri?”

“Oh hey Yoona,” she smiled. “I needed some air. You?”

“I went to get coffee,” Yoona paused as she rubbed the back of her neck. “I ran into Taecyeon as well.”

“Oh my goodness,” Yuri scoffed. “You ran into the infamous Mr. Ok?”

“I guess.”

“Wanna come inside my room for a while? I could use the company.”

“Sure,” Yoona nodded.

She was surprised to know that Yuri was the only on in the room, meaning she didn’t have a roommate. “Wow you’re the only one here?”

Yuri crossed her legs once she sat on her bed. “Some of us can choose the option to pay extra for a single room. It’s expensive because we’re not supposed to stay in this resort without a roommate but I was one of the few ones who managed to sneak my way through,” she smirked. “Besides, I don’t like the thought of sharing a room with a stranger.”

Yoona sat on the chair near the nightstand. “So they’re aware about your accommodation?”

“Yes they’re very aware actually. Plus I’m not supposed to share this little info to other trainees but I trust you Yoona.”

“I’m flattered,” she chuckled.

“How did it go with Taecyeon? You met him right?”

“Yes, he’s actually quite charming,” Yoona prevented the blush from rising to her cheeks. “He’s really handsome too I think I was staring at him for the most part.”

“Did he say anything?”

“Well I looked like an idiot since I spilt my coffee in front of him so he got me a new one, and then he said I’m beautiful or something…”

Yuri looked at Yoona with knowing smile. “He’s into you already Yoona, I have no doubts.”

Yoona grinned. “How do you know that?”

“Well for starters I dated Taec before.”

“What?! Ever since when?”

“Don’t worry we didn’t get together because our personality doesn’t match. We met at a party and hung out for a couple of times until we found out our parents are good friends. Taec and I remained as close friends but he got busy with the company.”

“I thought you just knew him because he was popular.”

“Oh no Taec and I know each other before this. That’s why I know him pretty well and I’m telling you now, if he approaches a girl first it means he’s interested in you.”

“Really?”

“Yes.”

“Does he have a girlfriend though?”

“I don’t know because I haven’t talked to Taec since last summer. Lots of things have changed in between that time frame. I usually rely on gossips from my friends but I haven’t heard anything.”

Yoona let out a sigh, picturing Taecyeon in her head. “I’ve got slim chances to get close to him because there’s so many girls out there chasing after him.”

“Pfft,” Yuri wagged her finger. “Don’t worry about them, they’ve got no chances compared to you.”

“You think so?”

“Oh please I’m already rooting for you guys, just wait for it.”

“Thanks Yuri.”

“No problem,” Yuri smiled. “Now you’re making me want a roommate.”
