Battle Of The Hottests“Are you sure you’re doing this?”
Her best friend gave her a look of doubt as if he was hesitant about her decision. She didn’t know what to do but she just felt like she needed a break – from everything – and this lifeguard training program looked alright.
“It’s a competition,” Yoona tapped her finger on the laptop screen. “Don’t you think it’ll be exciting?”
Seungri snorted as he flopped down beside her on the bed. “You’re asking for a death wish that’s what. You don’t even know how to swim.”
“Yeah well,” Yoona bit her lower lip, sighing a little. “I can learn.”
“Right, sure you can.”
Seungri was her best friend since high school and they went to the same university together. He was like her brother, and she knew he was just looking out for her.
“Stop teasing me you idiot.” Yoona tried to push Seungri off her bed. “I know I can do it.”
Seungri shrugged. “I’m just worried for you Yoong.”
“I know it can be quite terrifying but trust me, I need to do something this summer.”
“I don’t even know why you’re not choosing to do extra summer classes this time. You’re such a nerd too so for you choosing to be in this lifeguard boot camp crap, is very unusual.”
“I’ve studied too much throughout the school year.”
“Oh you just realized that now?”
“Shut up,” she chuckled. “Come on Seungri, just support me on this. Please?”
“How will I survive summer classes without you,” he sighed. “Okay fine, you’ve got my support. But don’t come running back to me saying how you’ve almost drowned at a pool of 1.5 feet in depth.”
Yoona threw a pillow at his face and laughed along with him. “I’ll be fine, don’t worry.”
Seungri stood back up on his feet and grabbed his phone from her study desk. “I’ll go ahead and prepare us some lunch.”
“You’re the best!”
He shouted back. “I know I am!”
Yoona stared at the screen again and took a deep breath before clicking on the application button. She was going to sign up for this traini
