INT: YOONGI’S HOME – NIGHT

Yoongi drops his jacket on the floor as he enters the tiny house. He looks around at the new, second-hand furniture he just got and how clean he’d made the tiny house.

YOONGI

Looks like it’s just me, housey.

He heads to his kitchenette where he removes the pizza pack from the fridge and feeds it to the microwave. As he leans on the counter in front of it, his phone beeps.

YOONGI

Hello?

WOMAN

Is this Yoongi?

YOONGI

(Frowns)

Yes.

WOMAN

I’m sorry but a friend of yours has been in an accident and we’re on our way with him to the hospital. Your number was the last number he dialed.

Yoongi stands up straight.

YOONGI

Who is it?

WOMAN

Uh… his ID says Jeon Jungkook. Ring any bells?

Yoongi was out the door with his jacket and phone in hand seconds before the microwave beeped in the house.

 

INT: NAMIN MEMORIAL HISPITAL – EMERGENCY ROOM – NIGHT

Yoongi ran into the hospital as he headed straight for the desk.

YOONGI

Please, I’m here for a Jeon Jungkook? Min Yoongi. Someone called me.

NURSE

(Blinks)

I’m sorry. I can’t talk to you about his condition.

YOONGI

(Shouts)

YOU PEOPLE CALED ME HERE! Someone needs to talk to me.

NURSE

MAMA JUNGKOOK

You have some nerve coming here, Yoongi.

Yoongi turns around to meet a woman with red-rimmed eyes and an angry man standing behind her.

YOONGI

(Bows)

Ma’am.

MAMA JUNGKOOK

Shut your dirty mouth! This is entirely your fault.

YOONGI

I just want to see him-

She slaps him across the face as the emergency room falls quiet.

MAMA JUNGKOOK

You stole our son from us. Putting stupid ideas in his head. This is all your fault.

The man behind her tries to turn her away but she refuses.
