Shameless self-promotion here, but I guess the common trait that advertisers have is shamelessness xD Hello y'all! To conclude Batch 1 and officially kickstart Batch 2, here is a documentation of STELLAR ADs' progress throughout the batch,

Basically, this sums up the possible successful rate of wallpost ads, and why STELLAR is... stellar (credibility amirite). Although the statistics are here, here are a few things you may need to take note of:

1. These statistics are not absolute. There are times when I'll succeed more for certain threads and succeed less for others, or... fail completely. Regardless, I'll post the statistics here to see. So do not assume that I'll definitely bring lots of people to your thread, because I can't guarantee success myself. All I can say is that I'll try my best to deliver high quality ads and consider many factors before I post the ad itself. Factors are listed below.

2. These statistics only count for the 'immediate subscribers' (I won't be checking threads 24/7 so I may miss out those late birds). That means it's possible that out of the many walls I've advertised on, most have checked out your thread but some have not subscribed for unknown reasons. So again, these statistics are not absolute.

3. These statistics count two factors: 1) those who've subscribed and 2) those who've commented. For stories/applyfics, I'm sure we love commenters and for roleplays, I'm sure we love those who actually apply even more. But if the thread has not made viewing subscribers available, then I won't include that factor in.

4. The statistics are presented in two forms: numbers and percentage. I'd say percentage matters more than numbers (represents the proportion to the number of wallposts you request) but note that the overall percentage tends to decrease the more wallposts you request, as ironic as that sounds.though time and time has proven that it's more difficult to get successful rp ads. Sometimes, no matter how many wallpost ads I post, it's possible that the successful rate is very minimal. The key to having a successful ad is only through both appealing to the target audience and an interesting thread. I can only collect through statistics most of the time, and even then factors are undetermined. All wallposts are collected through statistics, analysed thoroughly and processed before an ad is given to the user. 

ENSURING ADS ACHIEVE MAXIMUM SUCCESS RATE:

1. First, ensure the quality of your thread is up there. This is something you have to do as a creator if you want more people to pay attention to your thread, because there are simply way too many threads around. Supply is just too excessive, you see? So it's important for you to think how you can make the content of your thread more appealing. I can only help to appeal and enhance, but that only brings in short-term effects. The people who will stay with you are those who appreciate your content. As an advertiser, I'll not judge and critique whether your thread is good/bad unless you really want me to, so it's important that you evaluate your own thread before you ask for further promotion.

2. Time and time has proven that it's super difficult to achieve successful rp ads compared to stories. The target audience is just smaller and everyone is so busy with their own matters. It's even harder if your roleplay is a successful one because many people have already joined your roleplay; there are bound to be duplicates, and there are only so little regular roleplayers around (plus most roleplayers are very picky about faceclaims). The difficulty level increases especially if your roleplay is unorthodox. However, don't shy away from making unorthodox roleplays just because of that. Quality > quantity. If you find people who appreciate the uniqueness of your roleplay, then you'll stay for sure. So, just be mentally prepared about all this if you're seeking for ads for your roleplay.

3. Stories are much easier, but if your story is a popular one, it may be more difficult. It's also difficult if your story has underrated idols, but once again, please don't ever shy away from writing stories starring underrated idols. As long as your writing is stellar, nothing else matters. 

4. Common success rates: (5.5% - 3.7%) for rps, (13.1% - 1.5%) for stories

Some of you may ask, "Really? What's the point of evaluating all this nonsense? Just spam all them walls!" This may sound funny, but I do enjoy advertising. It's a process of getting to know more people and their needs while promoting threads out there. And so, after all this rambling, I finally present to you the statistics. Users will not be disclosed unless you are the author yourself and you want to question the authenticity of these results.
