*Haneul*

    After Chanyeol had dropped Haneul off she had stayed put behind the door hugging her teddy bear tight. She felt excited and giddy. She was glad that Chanyeol had turned out to be someone that she could trust. She was happy.

But that didn’t last.

From outside her house, she heard a loud growl. She became afraid and quickly stepped back from the door. Everything was silent for a few seconds before she heard a familiar voice scream from outside. It was her brother. She opened the door and headed towards his voice.

She didn’t have to look for long since her brother was lying on the floor not too far from the front door.

She looked at him and noticed that his arm was bloody. She couldn’t look carefully though because her attention was taken by a growl. She looked up and saw that an animal was approaching her and her brother. It was dark and so she couldn’t exactly see well, but the smell and the presence the animal was giving off gave away what it was. It was a barghest.

A barghest was a giant monstrous black dog with large teeth and claws, it could be mistaken for a werewolf if it wasn’t for the fact that they didn’t have the capacity to think by themselves. They belonged to one master for all their lives, and never looked elsewhere. They followed their masters' command and never traveled alone.
