"Anyone home?" Hanbin called out when he opened the front door.

"Yeah!" shouted a voice from inside.

He was carrying a bunch of shopping bags so he had a tiny bit of difficulty maneuvering around the door, but he got inside eventually.

"Sorry, I had something on the stove!"

When he looked up he saw Seongim running towards him with a smile on her face.

"Hey Hanbin-ah," she said, giving him a side hug and then grabbing a couple of the bags in his hands, "Come in."

She led the way into her apartment, putting the bags on the kitchen counter when they got there.

"I wasn't sure what to make..." she started, seeing his reaction.

"So you decided to cook everything?" he asked incredulously, turning his gaze to the woman standing beside him.

The scene before them was chaotic to say the least: steam coming from the pots on the stove, open jars on every which counter, pasta and flour strewn everywhere, cutting boards with vegetables and fruits on them, and knives lying around dangerously.

"Were you nervous or something?" he then asked.

"Uh, maybe?" she replied, slightly embarrassed and unsure of herself, "I didn't know what you'd like to eat, and this is the first time anyone other than my family has been to my home."

Hanbin's face broke into a grin slowly at her answer, taking his jacket off and rolling up his sleeves after taking a moment to let it sink in.
