Chapter 6

Jiyeon POV

“Whoa... You are really cool. You are the first girl that can make Yoo Seungho smiled that broadly beside Yoojung.” Hyunwoo said to me and lingered her hand on my shoulders. “why don’t you try to make Seungho seonbae loves you?” Both Ahyeon and me shocked because of Hyunwoo’s word.

“MWO??”

“Isn’t it right?” Hyunwoo still smiled teasing me. “Jiyeon-ah, Do you like him, don’t you?”

“Igo.. musun? –what have you said? I think you’ve lost your mind Hyunwoo-ah” what did she says? It just made my heart pounded faster.

“Ne.. She lost her mind. Don’t listen to her Jiyeon-ah” Ahyeon pulled me to go outside the hall.

“Yaa... Kachi-kajja-wait me..” Hyunwoo lingered her hands on Ahyeon’s shoulders. We were going back to our class.

The next day at school,

Jiyeon was walking from a bus station to go to the school when she saw Yoojung step out from a car. She saw Yoojung was waited by Seungho.

“Oppa...” She walked towards Seungho. Seungho smiled at her “Oppa.. I was very tired because I studied yesterday until midnight..”

“Really? Do you have any exam today?” Seungho asked

“ehmm, can you bring my bag to my classroom. It is so heavy for me oppa” Yoojung always find a way to make her boyfriend her maid at once. Seungho accepted that. He brought Yoojung’s bag. Unbelievable.

Jiyeon could not believe what she has seen. She shoke her head and continue her walk passing them.

“Jiyeon-ah!” Seungho called Jiyeon who thought she was not seen.

“Ne?” she turned her body and bowed to them pretended she did not see them before. Yoojung showed her dislikeness to Jiyeon but still force herself to smile. “Annyong haseyo seonbae and Yoojung-ssi”

“You are looked on rush. What are you chasing? It is still morning” Seungho said nicely

“Oppa.. don’t be so kind to everyone you met. It will create misunderstanding” Yoojung protested. Seungho tried to say something but Jiyeon said first.

“Seonbae, jweseongeyo..choneun monjo galgeyo- sorry Seungho, I’ll leave first.” She bowed again and left them.

Seungho POV

When I was with Yoojung near the parking lot of our school, I saw Jiyeon walked in rush passed us by.

“Jiyeon-ah!” I don’t know why but I like to chat with her. I always wait for a chance to meet with her and talk to her.

“Ne?” she turned her body and bowed to me and Yoojung. What a good hoobae-junior she was. “Annyong haseyo seonbae and Yoojung-ssi” she smiled but her feet did not stop to move left and right as she was looked like in a rush

“You are looked on rush. What are you chasing? It is still morning” I waited her answer but Yoojung said before she even opened .

“Oppa.. don’t be so kind to everyone you met. It will create misunderstanding” Yoojung protested to me because she might got jealousy on Jiyeon. Yeah, this is the first time since I was with her, I also closed to another girl. But Jiyeon was just like Seungmi for me.

“Seonbae.. jweseongeyo..choneun monjogalgeyo” I felt unhappy when Jiyeon just left us like that. I knew she must be very uncomfortable because of what Yoojung had said.

“Yoojung-ah.. she is just my friend. She will be the singer on the school anniversary. She is still new here. I just want to make her comfortable in our school. Please understand it, chagi-ah” She looked unhappy to hear my words “Yoojung-ah.. I know you will understand” I waited her answer but she just walked away. I chased her. I took a deep breath to calm myself. I don’t want this kind of thing made us apart.

Jiyeon’s POV

Nan moreuneunde-I don’t know. I was really sad when I saw him like that. How could someone that had almost everything in his hand could act so foolish as him?

“Jiyeon-ah!” Hyunwoo made me almost jump from my chair. “Have you submitted the poetry to Seo seonsaengnim? She was looking for you”

“I have. I have submitted it with the others’ poetry” I confused why Seo seonsaengnim was looking for me if there was no something wrong. I felt a little afraid. Is my poetry fell down somewhere and it was not submitted at all?

“You may go and find what is wrong.” I stood from my chair and went to the teacher’s office downstairs.

When I opened the door I could see Seo seonsaengnim was there waited for me. I was afraid something was really went wrong.

“Jiyeon-ah..come here!” She called me with a smile. What happened really?

“ne seonsaengnim.. Musun iriseosoyo?-what is wrong? Choneun chalmothae halsuiseosseumnikka?- is there any mistake I have done?” I asked her hesitantly

“eobseoyo.. anjeoyo!-nothing, sit down!” I sat in front of her but I just aware there is another person there. Shiyoon seonbae. He waved his hand and smiled sweetly to me. “Your poetry was actually had some weaknesses, but it is beautiful. Shiyoon likes to make a song. He loves to make your poetry a song. Will you permit him to do it?” mwo? Norae?-song Eottokhae? Shiyoon seonbaeneun? “I will help you to make it more beautiful.”

“I don’t know what should I say, Saem.. Hajiman... if you said like that I would not refused it.”

“Seonsaengnim.. you should have just believed in me. She is my friend. She will accept it even without your request..” Shiyoon boasted again. Since when was I his friend, by the way?

“Geureom.. it is good. Shiyoon! You can discussed the lyrics with her. I will help to beautify it a lttle if it is needed.” She stood up, so do we. “Jiyeon-ah, this is your poetry. You can read it again and add something according to his music” I nodded my head, took the paper, and left the teacher’s office with Shiyoon seonbae. But.. actually I was still confused. Song? With him?

“Seonbaenim..” I called him who walked happily in front of me, “Why did you want my poetry became a song?”

He smiled and was very interesting of my topic. “That is a question I am waiting for!” he pulled my hand and made me sit on a chair near the teacher’s office. “when I was passing Seo seonsaengnim, your paper flew down. I accidentally read it when I took it in the floor. I ran to give it back to seonsaengnim, but it is so interesting to make me found that idea. I will make the song with you, so... on school anniversary this song will be sung out. wae? Isn’t it good?” he told me everything. I hope so.

“So...Eottokhalkkayo-what should I do?” I asked desperately

“Shiyoon-ah...”

Seungho seonbae. Why was he here?

“oooh.. nae chingu-friend...where have you been?” He boasted again. Shiyoon seonbae liked to boast everything.

“I am looking for Jiyeon.” Na-me??? Wae? “Jiyeon-ah.. have you seen the announcement?” what announcement did he mean? “as what I said yesterday... you are chosen! You will sing on the school anniversary.” Mwo????

“Ne????” I shouted. Oh.. what did I do? Why did I shout in from of them? They looked shocked

“aren’t you feel happy, Jiyeon-ah?” ne.. I am happy. But how come? I thought I sang random song that I never prepared for that eventually. “ne, seonbae.. but.. I am still not sure about that”

“wait... Jiyeon is the chosen to be a singer for the anniversary???” Shiyoon shouted after me. Seungho was really shocked hearing all of us shouted. He shoke his head but still smiling.. ooooh how handsome he was.. “It means that... you will sing the song Jiyeon-ah! waaaah! Daebak!.. awesome.. wonderful.. whooohooo!!!” He jumped happily. He made me embarrased. Why did he boast about it? We have not started yet..

“The song?” Seungho seonbae asked us confusely.

“I will make a song for that day and the lyrics will be made by Jiyeon.” He  boasted again.

“Jeongmal- really?” Seungho asked happily. It was clearly seen. I am not lying.

“Anieyo.. we haven’t been sure about that....” I tried to calm the situation

“Musun mariya?-what do you mean??? It is cool!” Shiyoon took away my paper and gave it to Seungho. “look at it!”

“andwae!!!” I shouted. How could he do that? It was my words for Seungho seonbae. He should not read it. What if he found that I like him? Shiyoon seonbae.... neol miwohae jinjja!-i really hate you!

Seungho read it seriously. He smiled. “nareul wihaeyo?-Is this for me?”

Eottokhae?? He really knew it. What should I do? Is it too clear?
