Chapter 3

 Jiyeon POV

“Kajja!” Seungho seonbae grabbed my hand thightly. My heart started to pound again. I cannot do anything except following him. His hand kept holding my left hand which is not hurting. I could feel how warm it was. I could feel how strong it was. I never dreamed this moment before. We walked through the aisle of the the clinic. I moved my eyes to his head. I imagined his face. How handsome he is. He turned his head once on me before cross the street to go back to school. He smiled at me. I smiled back but it was a hesitant smile. I turned my head because i felt ashamed of myself. In this situation that I knew Seungho seonbae cared about me because he felt sorry of me, i still hoped it was more that that. How fool I am. Really. I am fool.

Ooh? It is moving so fast. Eotokkhae? He do not see that motorcycle? Without knowing what i have done, suddenly, Seonbae’s face was in front of me. It was so close. I could feel his breath on my face. He hold my shoulder. His right hand was still holding my left hand. His eyes was looking at me. Oooh.. my heart pounded faster. My ears was full of the sound. I could not hear anything else for now. There was no anything i can see except his face. My eyes was full of his face. His eyes was bright, his nose, his lip i was not sure i could sleep at night.

“oppa!”

Seungho released my shoulder and we looked into the owner of the voice. She was a girl. She is tall and beautiful. Beside her was a man.

“Appa? Seung mi-ah?” Seung ho called them. He walked approach them. “Why are you here?”

“Oppa! Why are dating here? On the street? Aigooo..-Oh my God..” the girl said to him

Seung ho just touches her hair and smiled, “She is my friend. I made her got an injury. I accompanied her to get some medical teratment there, but then she saved me from getting an accident. It is not like what you think of” the girl ran approach me. Seung ho continue his talk with his Appa-father.

“Annyong.. Eonni.., are you my oppa’s yeojachingu-girlfriend?” I was really surprised hearing that question

“Anieyo.. we are just friends. Your oppa is my seonbae. He helped me.” She laughed

“Eonni. It is the first time i saw him with another girl beside the witch”

“witch?” who is the witch she means?

“Kim Yoo jung. Don’t you know who she is?” aaah... Yoo jung. Seungho’s girlfriend. “Eonni. Can you just take my oppa from that witch? I hate her because she always makes my oppa her maid. I can’t accept that.”

“ehmmm.. neo ireumi mwoeyo?” i don’t know what her name is.

“oh.. I forgot to introduce my self” she smile broadly. So cute. “Naneun Seungmi-ieyo, Eonnineun?”

“Naneun Jiyeon-ieyo” i lend her my hand and we shaked hand.”

“Yaa... I think you found new friend Seungmi-ah..” Seungho said and made me startled because i was not sure when he came.

“Seungmi-ah Kajja-let’s go!” their Appa asked Seungmi to go. I bowed and smiled at their appa before he left with Seungmi. Seungmi smiled brightly. She then ahouted from a distance.

“Oppa.. take care of Jiyeon Eonni.” She made me feel more shameful.

“What she was said to you?” Seungho asked me. I was confused. It was impossible i told him the truth that she talked about the witch.. euh.. ani.. his girlfriend.

“Geunyang.. she is so talkactive. I like to talk to her. She is cheerful and bright like a sun.” It is the truth. Seungmi is really cheerful. At least I did not tell a lie to him.

“ne.. she is my cheerful dongsaeng. It is thankful that you llike her” I don’t why my heart still pounded. It made me hard to breathe.

“Seonbae.. let’s go back to school. We will be late too long if we just talk here.”

“ah ne.. kajja!” he touch my shoulder again to make me walk beside him. It is so romantic. Des he do it every day to his girlfriend? How lucky the witch is.. Chankaman..-wait up.. why did I continue called her, witch? Andwae! I haven’t met her yet. I can’t call her like that.

“Do you live with your parents here?” Seungho’s voice was breaking out the silence.

“Ne..”

“do you have sibling? Brother or sister?”

“Eobseoyo-there is no any. I am the only daughter my parents have. I think it would be happier to have sister just like Seonbae.”

“ehmm.. my life is always happy because of Seungmi. You can make friends with her. I think she likes you. She was never closed to any of my friend. You are the first friend that she likes even for the first meeting. Gomawo-thanks Jiyeon-ah”

“Anieyo.. she is very humble i think if she meet your friend often, she will just like them too.”

“do you think so?”

“yeah.. ehmm how.. about your yeojachingu?” I asked him afraidly “mianhae.. i just asked because i am curious. All of my classmates talked about her beauty every day. The boys I mean. And the girls seemed to be very envious to her” me too seonbae.

“gwaenchanha.. she is just an ordinary girl for me. She is not as perfect as anyone else thought. She is just like us. Hajiman, she loved to be famous. She loves everyone loves her.but..” He stopped his words a moment and saw the sky as he just like think of something. “Seungmi hates her so much. I am sure it was just misunderstanding but Seungmi never wanted to meet her again. So if you heard something bad about Yoojung from Seungmi, I hope you will not think the same as Seungmi.” He talked much about his girlfriend.

He believes her so much. I hope Yoojung would not hurt him too much. Haaaah.. I should not hope anything from him. Well, let’s be a good friend for him. Can I?

“Well, seonbae. I hope Seungmi will accept Yoojung soon. If it was a misunderstanding, time will help them recover soon. The most important thing is you and yejung love each other, right?” do you know? It was very hard to say that when you love that guy.

“I am lucky to know you. I can’t wait you sing on the audition. I hope you will be the one who will sing on our school anniversary” mwo-what? Singing?

Jiyeon seemed confused when Seungho brought ‘singing’ topic to their chat. They continue their walk to enter the school. Hyunwoo and Ahyeon have waited Jiyeon behind the school gate. They ran for Jiyeon.

“Jiyeon-ah.. gwaenchanha? Oooh how can this thing happened?” Ahyeon said desperately

“Yaaa... you are too much” Hyunwoo replied calmly “Gwaenchanha? Is it right seonbae was the one who make you fell?” she looked at Seungho and made Seungho scratch his head and felt guilty.

“Aniyo... it was an accident. Seonbae was falling too.” Ahyeon screamed

“ahhhhhh seonbae, eodi apa? – do you hurt somewhere?” she grabbed Seungho’s hands “eotokkhae? You should have a rest. Do you need water? Snacks? Lunch?” Ahyeon started to talk without space.

“I am very well. You see i can still run and play baseball well” He acted as he was in the field and become a pitcher. They all laughed because of him. “Let’s go the classroom. It is near class time. What subject will you have?”

“Korean. Seo seonsaengnim gave me some task to do before she came. How about seonbae?” hyunwoo asked while she hold Jiyeon’s hand.

“I will have English.” He walked faster that hyunwoo, ahyeon, and Jiyeon. “Jiyeon-ah! Don’t use your right hand too much. It needs rest. See you later guys.” He left them.

“Yaa... hhh... why did you left me alone at the clinic?” Shi yoon seemed very tired and approached Jiyeon.

“Shiyoon seonbae?” Jiyeon was surprised and felt sorry because she really forgot him. “Mianhae...I think Seonbae ..”

“gwaenchanha.. I just wonder why Seungho can forget me. Is it because he enjoyed holding your hand or because of another thing, hahahahah” he laughed after said that.

“Mwo?” Hyunwoo and Ahyeon shouted together and looked at Jiyeon suspiciously. “He hold your hand?” hyunwoo smiled and keep teasing Jiyeon.

“I hope I were you Jiyeon-ah....” Ahyeon hugged Jiyeon tightly. “You are so lucky”

“it is not like that.” Jiyeon’s face was red because she was ashamed. “Seonbae.. it is not like what you think”

Shiyoon kept teasing her. “really? Geureom-so why did Seungho so care for you so much? It is a very best achievement of a new student like you. Be careful of Yejung. She will not forgive you if you ..”

“Why should I not forgive that girl, seonbae?”
