No One’s POV

It’s been almost 2 weeks since the cat and dog couple lived together as husbands. Apparently they grew a little closer. They already playing joke on each other and minimize the amount of cursing at each other faces. Woohyun is still trying to figure out the tiny bits flashes of his lost memories but he didn’t panic and remain calm although sometimes Sunggyu woke him up at night saying that Woohyun screams and trashing around in his sleep. When Sunggyu ask what he dreamed of, it’s always the same thing over and over again. However, Woohyun just can’t get over the view of his father taking his last breath and it haunts his dreams more frequently day by day. But all those bad dreams were always washed away instantly as Sunggyu hugs him and comfort him with soothing words. That’s how both of them opened up to each other. Woohyun starts telling Sunggyu about his fear of water and that he prefers to ride a motorbike instead of car. Since the ride with Dongwoo to shopping mall before this, Woohyun told Sunggyu that he felt suffocated every time he’s in a car.

As for Sunggyu, he eventually forgets about his revenge on Woohyun. He knew he fell in love withWoohyun but he’s still in dilemma. All the hatred towards Woohyun vanished atWoohyun’s genuine smile thrown towards him. He have seen the other side of Woohyun; the sweet, caring and cute Woohyun. It’s the first time he felt how beautiful being in love is. The feeling makes him wants to take care of Woohyun and protect him from any harm. One thing that worried him the most is Myungsoo. He knew Myungsoo so well that Myungsoo can’t accept and won’t welcome Woohyun in their family after what Woohyun had done towards him. The Kim brothers are well-known with their grudges holding but Myungsoo is worse than Sunggyu. He won’t hesitate to harm the person that threatens him whether physically or emotionally. It’s going to be awful with Woohyun’s state right now.

Sunggyu just sigh and watch Woohyun flipping the pancakes for their breakfast. Sunggyu is not working today and they decided to have a nice get-to-know-each-other-better day today. They would just watch movies in the living room and cuddles. Yup, they’re already comfortable to each other to act like a real lover minus the kisses and ual stuffs.

“Here’s your pancake”

Woohyun place the plate in front of Sunggyu with a smile

Sunggyu took a bite and grinned until it reach his ears

“Your cooking just got better every day. I might have to hit gym more frequently after this”

Woohyun let out a proud smile and they continue to savor their breakfast with decent small talks

“Sunggyu, umm would you like to accompany me for groceries shopping today? The fridge is almost empty. We might not make it until dinner I guess”

Sunggyu hummed

“Okay sure”

“I have one more request…”

“What is it?”

“Can we go to the supermarket using subway? It’s okay if you don’t want to but you know I was uncomfortable in your sport car since it was a bit confined and you know I…”

“Hey hey Woohyun, it’s okay. Let’s go ride a subway okay? Let’s take it as our first date”

“Date? Well that sounds nice! Come on let’s go change!”

Woohyun rushed upstairs as he heard the word date. It’s been a while since he went out and he already feels suffocated in this huge house. He tried cleaning and doing the laundry but all the chores always bored him. Every time he wants to go out alone, Sunggyu won’t give him his permission and Woohyun respected that. He understood that Sunggyu is worried about him going out without anyone with him but Woohyun still feels sad being left alone as Sunggyu went for work and only returns before dinner. By the time they finished dinner, they only have very small talk and Sunggyu drift off to sleep as he was tired from piling works at the office. Sunggyu sometimes went home for lunch but that only had happens for two times in the whole weeks.

They both dressed simple but still look dashing as runway models. Woohyun has already done with a normal printed white tee paired with his favorite black shorts that reach up above his knees. 8 out of 10 of his closet were filled with various brands of the same black shorts. He always thought he looks good in shorts.

“Don’t you have any decent pants to wear?”

“What’s wrong with my pants? I think it looks good on me”

“It’s too revealing, I don’t like it”

“Then, don’t look”

Sunggyu just shook his head and continue to button up his white polo tee leaving two top buttons undone paired with a fitted khaki pants that hugs his toned calves and thighs seamlessly

Sunggyu grabbed his wallet and phone and slides it into his back pocket while waiting for Woohyun to spray on his perfume

“Let’s just walk to the subway station, it’s not far”

“Awww but its 34 degree outside!!!”

Sunggyu grab a baseball cap and put in on Woohyun’s head

“Is that okay now?”

Woohyun grinned showing lines of his perfectly align white teeth

“I guess this is okay. Let’s go!”

They walk side by side towards the subway station. Once they reach the station, Sunggyu wait for Woohyun to pay for their tickets and notice that Woohyun’s head is slightly drenched in sweats

Can’t tolerate that much of heat huh?

Woohyun’s done paying for the tickets and heads towards Sunggyu. He handed Sunggyu his ticket and turn around to scan the ticket. But Sunggyu hold his hands and makes him facing Sunggyu

“What?”

Sunggyu didn’t say anything and he gently wipe Woohyun’s forehead with his handkerchief

Woohyun blushed at the gesture and stuttered a small thank you

If they’re not in public, Sunggyu probably will kiss his husband’s adorable red cheeks until it swollen

By the time the subway arrives, it was almost full of people. They had to squish in their body into the subway as more people come inside. Woohyun’s face was now currently pressed against Sunggyu’s broad chest. The closeness between them makes Woohyun dizzy as he can smell Sunggyu’s manly cologne; the one that Woohyun bought for Sunggyu when he went for shopping. Woohyun likes the smell and Sunggyu eventually wears it almost every day to his work. Woohyun placed his head on Sunggyu’s chest while Sunggyu wrapped his arms around Woohyun’s neck, settling his arms on Woohyun’s shoulder to play with his phone. Woohyun however didn’t felt heavy on his shoulder as Sunggyu puts very light amount of weight on Woohyun’s shoulder; not to hurt him.

Woohyun closed his eyes for a moment and almost drove into sleep when suddenly he shifted uncomfortably because something or more specific, someone’s hand were groping his . He look left and right for the culprit but the moment he did that, the hand disappear. Woohyun taught the person had already stopped but he was wrong. The minute he returns his head on Sunggyu’s chest, the hand start groping his again. He swatted away the ert hand and called for Sunggyu softly. Sunggyu was too engrossed in his game that he didn’t notice his husband in distressed.

Woohyun hissed Sunggyu’s name again but this time, a little louder than before as the hand now starting to move further between his thighs, caressing it up and down. Woohyun can’t turn around because of the cramped spaces and his only hope for Sunggyu to punch the out of the assaulter’s face. Sunggyu locked his phone and slides in into his pocket when he notice Woohyun’s shifting uncomfortably with a frowned on his face.

“There’s a ing ert assaulting me right now”

Woohyun whispered to Sunggyu

Sunggyu’s eyes narrowed when he heard Woohyun whispered at him. His hand immediately gripped the assaulter’s hand between Woohyun’s thighs and he raised it away; still having his deadly grip on the assaulter’s hand.

“You should keep your hands to yourself”

Sunggyu growled and that grabbed the attention of the people inside the subway

Sunggyu twisted the hand and the assaulter screams in agony as he felt like his hand is going to be broken. Everyone was watching the situation but Sunggyu didn’t stop the torture.

Sunggyu increased his strength and twisted in further until a sickening crack echoed in the subway and that is when Woohyun decided that this has to stop.

“Sunggyu stop it please! I’m okay and he’s learnt his lesson. Stop it please, people are looking”

Woohyun tried to calm Sunggyu down by caressing Sunggyu’s chest up and down softly.

Sunggyu let go of the assaulter’s hand at Woohyun’s concerned face

“Make sure I don’t see you again or this face, might be the last face that you see before you die”

By the time Sunggyu spurt his warning, they already arrived at the station. Sunggyu grabbed Woohyun’s hand and dragged Woohyun out of the Subway. Woohyun was having hard times trying to keep up with Sunggyu’s angry steps and deadly grip on his wrist

So, he’s still mad about that

“Sunggyu stop!”

Sunggyu eventually stop and yanked off Woohyun’s hand from his gripped. Sunggyu noticed that Woohyun was rubbing his sore hands but he was too blinded in rage that he ignored Woohyun’s pain

“What the is your problem!”

“Me?! You’re asking me what the is wrong with..”

“YES!! You! Why would you drag me out like that?! I’m not your ing ragdoll Sunggyu! Do you think it’s my fau...”

“YES THE IT IS! YOUR ING FAULT! EVERYTHING! I WARNED YOU ABOUT YOUR PANTS BEFORE BUT WHAT YOU DID?! YOU JUST SCOFFED AT ME!”

“WHY ARE YOU VENTING OUT YOUR ANGER ON ME?! I NEVER THOUGHT THAT SOMETH…”

“THAT’S YOUR ING PROBLEM!! YOU NEVER THOUGHT OF ANYTHING! YOU ALWAYS DO EVERYTHING WITHOUT THINKING WITH YOUR ING BRAIN! ALL YOU EVER GIVE TO ME IS TROUBLE AND BURDE… *gasped* I-I didn’t mean t-that”

Woohyun’s face was red in embarrassment as their fight was being watched by public and Woohyun can’t believe that Sunggyu just openly insults him in front of everyone. Woohyun’s pride was trampled and he was disappointed in Sunggyu.

Woohyun had once ask how did they first met and Sunggyu told him everything that Woohyun’s done without hiding anything from him. Woohyun felt so guilty and he keeps blaming himself for being such a jerk and selfish bastard towards Sunggyu and his brother. He also blamed himself for giving nothing but troubles to Sunggyu. But Sunggyu comforted him and tells him that it was all in the past and he wants to start new with Woohyun. He had forgives Woohyun with a reason that he was in the same shoe as Woohyun. Sunggyu told him that he was partly wronged Woohyun too by chasing and causing harm to Woohyun that he lost his memories. They both comfort each other and decided to start new life together.

“If you really think that low of me, that’s okay… I know I never bring you any good for you since day first…”

Woohyun spoke weakly

Woohyun almost cried but he didn’t because Nam Woohyun doesn’t cry in front of people. Woohyun turned around and leave the scene. He went into the supermarket with a solemn look and slumped shoulder

Sunggyu chased after Woohyun and tried to call him for a few times but it was ignored by Woohyun

! I totally messed everything’s up

Since Sunggyu was little, he was the perfect son and perfect candidate for future president of Kim Corp. But there’s only one thing that he’s bad at. It was apologizing. It was so hard to hear the word sorry coming out from Sunggyu’s mouth. Sunggyu did feel guilty but he just grows up not knowing how to say sorry properly. Dealing with a mad Woohyun was easy but a disappointed and sulky Woohyun? Well that was new but Sunggyu was very assured that it’s not going to be easy.

Sunggyu followed with a distance behind Woohyun as Woohyun pushed the trolley along the aisle of foods section

Anyone from third person point of view might be thinking that Sunggyu is Woohyun’s stalker judging by the weird looks he received from everyone

Woohyun could feel the stares he received from behind. It sent shivers down his spine and makes his neck’s hairs stood up. Woohyun however ignore the presence of Sunggyu behind him and continue to fill his cart

Meanwhile Sunggyu was still thinking of ways to say sorry to Woohyun. He truly didn’t mean anything from his outburst. That was just bulls that he spurts out in act of rage and unfortunately the victim is Woohyun

He knows that I’m following him but he’s treating me like a complete stranger

They reach cereals section and Woohyun tried to reach for his favorite cereal but he’s too short as it was placed on the highest shelf. Sunggyu saw this opportunity to get closer to Woohyun

Sunggyu reach for the cereal with ease and put it inside the cart. Woohyun just stare at Sunggyu with a bored expression before he take the cereal box back from his cart and throws it on the floor. Woohyun wheeled away the cart forgetting about his cereal box and leave Sunggyu dumbfounded.

Truth is, Woohyun was formerly disappointed at Sunggyu’s action but when he saw how much Sunggyu struggled to figure a way out of this messed melt his heart a bit. For now, he’s no longer disappointed, just a little angry and he wants Sunggyu to feel it. That’s why he sacrificed his favorite cereal in front of Sunggyu.

Meanwhile Sunggyu, he picked up the cereal box and takes three more from the shelf. He recognize it as Woohyun’s favorite and even though Woohyun throws it, deep down he knew, it takes so much in Woohyun to not pick up the cereal box just to feed his ego.

Woohyun was now done with his grocery shopping and was transferring the groceries onto the payment counter. Woohyun held out his hand to Sunggyu without saying anything, initiating for Sunggyu’s credit card

Sunggyu however didn’t get Woohyun’s gesture and thought that Woohyun held out his hand for a peace handshake. Sunggyu grabbed Woohyun’s hand and shook it a few times.

Woohyun gave him a ‘what the are you doing’ face and Sunggyu immediately let go of his hand

“Your card”

“O-oh card yes, h-here”

Woohyun scoffed at Sunggyu and proceed for the payment and return the card to its owner once it’s finished

Woohyun grab all the plastic bags and carried it all by himself and leave Sunggyu behind. Sunggyu chased after Woohyun and tried to help Woohyun with the bags

“It’s okay I can handle it”

“No, let me help you, its heavy”

“Well, if you insist”

Woohyun dropped all of the plastic bags on the floor and leave Sunggyu again to deal with the groceries

That’s what you get for insulting me in front of everyone

Woohyun smirks at Sunggyu’s struggles

The journey to their home was quiet. Woohyun is leading their way while Sunggyu was struggling with the heavy plastic bags. By the time they reach home, Woohyun punch in the code and told Sunggyu to leave everything on the kitchen’s table. Sunggyu just nod and do as he says.

It was already late in the evening and Woohyun was now preparing to cook for dinner. They didn’t speak any word since the supermarket incident and the tension in the house keeps on rising. Sunggyu was still in dilemma on how to wheedle Woohyun and to apologize to his husband.

As for Woohyun, he was waiting for Sunggyu to say the word sorry and everything’s will be forgiven but until now, Sunggyu hasn’t speak any word including when they have lunch together earlier.

Sunggyu came down from his shower plus practice on how to apologize to Woohyun, just in time when Woohyun finished plating and serving the dishes on the table.

They were eating in silence and Sunggyu can’t handle the quiet atmosphere anymore and decided to crack a conversation

“This is nice, your cooking”

Woohyun just hummed and continue to gobble up his food

“About earlier at the subway…”

Woohyun cut him off with a lazy tone

“What about it”

“I want you to believe me that I didn’t m-mean all that I s-said to you… It’s just I w-was too blinded in anger a-and j-jealousy…I just want to say…”

Woohyun hummed as a sign for him to continue

“I’m s-sorry…”

Sunggyu was now looking down and shoulder slumped waiting for Woohyun’s reply but he was expecting that Woohyun says he hates him and doesn’t forgive his mistake

“I forgive you”

Sunggyu look up and continue

“I know you’re mad and I don’t deserve your… wait what?!”

Woohyun finally let out a chuckle. He just can’t help but smiled at Sunggyu’s cute antics. It was a rare sight of Sunggyu acting cute and he decided to treasure this moment

“I said I forgive you”

“Seriously?! Am I hearing things right now?! Please tell me it’s not a dream”

“Don’t make me repeat myself”

“Okay, I just… oh my god I can’t believe this! It’s my first time saying sorry and… and… you forgive me! I promise you I will treat you better and won’t repeat my mistake!”

Woohyun just smile and waved Sunggyu off

“Don’t forget to wash the dishes. I want to go sleep”

“Okay I will!”

Woohyun went upstairs and brush his teeth before he went into dreamland

That night, both of them sleep with a smile adorning their face and miracle happens that Woohyun didn’t have a nightmare about his father dying that night.

Maybe it’s true what people said, anything can be cured by love.
