At an early age, Jei witnesses her parents divorcing each other. Her father takes custody of her twin brother while her mother takes custody of Jei. As Jei lives a poor financial life with her mother, she becomes a bit envious of her brother's easy going life with her rich father. However, everything took a turn in her life after the rumored news of her brother's suicide. Her father felt threatened without a sucessor, soon remembering the existance of his daughter. 

[Moon Jei]: 

• 21 years old.
• Forced to exist as the identity of her twin brother Jay on behalf of her father. 
• Has the skills of cooking and cleaning from taking care of her bedridden mother.
• Assumed that her brother's life was easy-going until she experiences his struggles.

[Moon Jay]:

• 21 years old.
• Pressured to maintain a good reputation for his father and the company.
• Forced to satisfy the other companies' daughters even though he has a girlfriend.
• Commits suicide after his girlfriend cut ties with him.

[Choi Sooyoung]:

• 27 years old.
• Acts very dominant, likes to tease the latter due to her older age.
• Similar to Jay, she is also pressured and tries to maintain a gleaming expression in her surrondings.
• Finds Jay's new behavior to be odd at first (Since It's now Jei existing as her brother), but soon slowly opens up to her insecurities.
• Business relation: Helps with the architect for expanding the Moon company's buildings in new areas.

[Jung Krystal]:

• 22 years old.
• Jei's childhood friend.
• Has a major crush on Jei.
• Finding Jei's sudden disapperance strange, she soon confronts who she believes is Jay, not realizing that it is actually Jei.
• Business relation: None. She lived through a life as a middle class, helping a bit with Jei's financial problem during their childhood.

[Kim Yewon (Umji)]:

• 18 years old.
• Carefree around Jay: always taking the latter to dates around town.
• Hates being teased for her baby-like face.
• Begins to complain about Jay's new behavior (Jei). 
• Business relation: Umji's father runs a famous dentist company. Umji's father is the dentist of Jei's father, making the two fathers have a close relationship.

[Chou Tzuyu]:

• 17 years old.
• When both are required to meet each other, Tzuyu usually gives the latter the silent treatment. 
• Similar to Jay, Tzuyu is pressured to entertain the other companies' successors even though she is dating someone in secret. 
• When her girlfriend breaks up with her, it took a major hit in her mental state, venting out her frustration to the latter. Fortunately, Jay (Jei) prevents the female from commiting suicide like her brother. 
• Business relation: Jei's father has a daily check up with Tzuyu's mother as his doctor.
