“HANBIN!” Hayi had some time to shout for help.

Hayi didn’t think of any other name and just screamed his name.

I’m going to die. This is the end. Hanbin didn’t even forgive me yet. I can’t die like this.

Hanbin, help me!

Hayi shut her eyes closed tightly.

She can feel the roughness of the person who dragged her.

Suddenly, she was thrown to the nearest wall in an alley.

Hayi opened her eyes and saw a guy in a black shirt with a black cap on.

Hayi was going to scream for help again when that guy shut with his hands.

“Shut up if you want to live.” The guy said threateningly.

Hayi kept quiet.

The stranger just smirked when he saw she’s following his order.

“I’ve been following you since yesterday. You have a killer body.” The stranger said while trying to touch Hayi’s curve.

Hayi grimaced.

What the hell? Since yesterday? How come I didn’t notice him!

Damn!

Don’t touch me!

Hayi closed her eyes again scared.

However, she didn’t feel anything.

She opened her eyes and saw Hanbin twisting the stranger’s arm.

“Yes, she has a killer body. And I have killer instinct. Don’t you in dare to touch her!” Hanbin shouted and threat the guy.

Hayi was shocked and just froze right there.

Hanbin came?

Did he hear my help?

“Hey, are you okay? Did he hurt you anywhere? Hey? Hayi?” Hanbin came to Hayi after he beated that stupid ert guy.

This is the real Hanbin.

The one who will protect me.

The one who is care for me.

Without notice, tears fall down on Hayi’s cheeks.

“Hey, are you scared?” Hanbin asked.

And he hugs Hayi.

“It’s okay. He’s gone. I’m here. Don’t worry.” Hanbin comforts Hayi while petting her hair slowly.

However, Hayi cries harder.

She hates herself.

She misses this warmth.

She hates herself for being so stupid.

She regrets everything.

She wants Hanbin back.

She loves him.

“Relax Hayi. Relax.” Hanbin worried.

Hayi just keep quiet and look into Hanbin’s eyes.

She misses those eyes.

Those eyes which look at her sweetly, lovingly, worriedly.

“Let me bring you home. Okay?” Hanbin said after a while, after Hayi calmed down a little.

Hayi just nod.

She didn’t seem to find her voice.

Maybe lost from too much shock or maybe from too much regret or even too much cry? 

She scared but at the same time she’s relieve.

“Thanks.” She opened up.

“No.” Hanbin said.

Once again, Hayi’s shocked.

“No, I mean, don’t thanks me.” Hanbin explained after he saw Hayi’s reaction.

“The one who should be thanking right now is me. Thanks for shouting my name or else… or else, I don’t know what will happen.” Hanbin confessed his worries.

“Hanbin… is it too late?” Hayi courage up to ask.

Hanbin just sigh and ignore her.

“We’re arrived. Come, I bring you to the door.” Hanbin said when they arrived at Hayi’s house.

“Thanks again.” Hayi said when they’re in front of the door.

“No. Haish. Whatever…” Hanbin said and going to leave when Hayi said something.

“Sorry for being a nuisance.” Hayi said.

“You’re not. Okay.” Hanbin stopped to say it and then leave.

He left.

No.

“What?” Hanbin asked when Hayi grabbed his hand; stopping him from leaving.

“A-Erm…” Hayi become speechless.

She doesn’t know what to say.

Her body reacts first before her mind.

Hanbin looks worried.

“Are you scared?” Hanbin asked.

“Huh?” Hayi answered confused.

“Jennie is not home yet right? So are you scared staying alone?” Hanbin asked again.

Why?

Why is he so caring?

“N--- Yeah.” Hayi said while scratching back of her neck.

~HANBIN POV~

She scratched her neck; a habit of her when she’s lying.

Why is she doing this to me?

She knows that I cared for her; that I miss her.

I miss her, what should I do?

I used to call her baby,

Girlfriend,

My lady.

Now, I don’t even know what kind of relationship we in.

Friends?

No, can we even be friends?

I thought we would last forever.

This isn’t right, I can’t accept this,

You’re not my lover.

I’m not even your friends.

I know you’re crying too, without tears.

But I still remember when you’re looking at me with indifference.

“Hanbin…?” Hayi calls me as I space out.

“Yeah?” I answered.

“Could you bring me somewhere?” Hayi asked me.

Why are you making things so difficult Lee Hayi?

“Sure.” I said.

She knows that I’m weak against her.

“Where do you want to go?” I asked her.

She didn’t answer and just walk through the street.

I thought she wants to go somewhere far and use car but the moment I said sure, she starts walking.

I just following her.

~HAYI POV~

I didn’t hear Hanbin’s question as my mind have a lot of things processing.

I want to talk but I don’t know from where I should start.

I want him back but I know that not everything we want we can get.

He was hers before and she failed to keep him.

This is all her fault.

I know that but I still wants him.

I’m being selfish again, I know.

“Hanbin, is it really too late?” I mustered up the courage to ask him again.

I saw Hanbin look up with an unidentified expression.

“Hayi, not this question again? You make it difficult for me.” Hanbin answered me.

~END OF HAYI’s POV~

“I know that I am being selfish right now but I can’t live without you.” Hayi honestly said to Hanbin.

“Do you remember what I said long time ago? About a couple who need trust in their relationship in order to lead a happier life?” Hanbin asked Hayi.

“Hanbin. I’m sorry. I know what I did hurt you so much but it did hurt me too. You’re not the only one who’s sad. You’re not the only one who can’t eat. Me too. I don’t have any appetite too.” Hayi burst out to Hanbin.

“I really hate one thing about you. It is your selfishness. Do you even realize you’re wrong in the first place? You can’t accuse me for making you sad as it is all your own fault.” Hanbin glared at Hayi.

Hayi was crying again. Hanbin doesn’t have to remind her about the most thing she regretted in her life.
