The floor creaked and it was enough to make Chanyeol stir but not quite enough to wake him. It was when the bed dipped next to him that he was pulled from the comfort of sleep. “Byun Baekhyun it is too early for your .” He grumbled turning over and burying his face in his pillow.

An unfamiliar laugh had his eyes opening wide though. “You always think I’m Baekhyun. Seriously, if I didn’t know any better, I would think you two were dating.”

Chanyeol jerked up and turned his head to see a familiar tall blonde sitting on the edge of his bed. “I’m dreaming.” He moaned before pinching his own arm. After the pain registered as this being real Chanyeol’s eyes widened impossibly larger and he realized he was sleeping in his underwear. He let out the most unmanly of squeaks and dug himself under the blanket.

Kris just laughed again. “Alright, I’m leaving. But get dressed fast! I don’t want to be late.”

“Late for what?” Chanyeol asked his confusion outweighing disbelief and he was now aware that that was the first thing he had ever said to Kris.

Kris’ eyebrows raised. “Our date. Remember? It’s Christmas Eve.”
