I quickly took the folder from her hands as I kept avoiding her eyes.

“W-what!” Joohyun gasped from my sudden movement.

“Leave.” She didn’t budge from her place. “I said leave! Please!” I raised my voice. She then slightly nodded and left me with a questioning look plastered on her face.

I opened the folder on the last picture I have taken. I gently touched it and I could feel the salty tears quickly escaping my eyes.

Flashback

“The basketball game is tomorrow, isn’t it? “ She asked me.

I turned around and I took a picture of her. “Yes. We are going, right?”

“Of course we are.”

She got up from the bed and walked behind me. I felt her hands tightly hugging my waist. She took the camera and snapped a picture of us while she was still hugging me.

End of flashback

“I am sorry.”

I wiped the tears from my face and closed the folder. I hid it in a box at the bottom of my wardrobe. I sat there for a while until I came up with a good idea that would definitely cheer me up.

I took my phone and opened our group chat.

“Hey, guys. Are you up for a sleepover?” I texted my friends

“Yeah, for sure. Boredom has been killing me all day…”  Seungwan immediately responded

“Let’s do it at our place!” Yerim suggested

“Awesome! What time?” I asked

“8:30. Do not be late, because if you are I will not let you in.”  Sooyoung texted and I think she was not joking at all.

I was just starting to get ready when I received a call from Seungwan.

“Hi, Seulgi! Do you want to meet up and go together to Yerim and Sooyoung’s place?”

“Of course. Where and what time?”

“8 o’clock in front of the yellow bench near your house.”

“Great, see you then!” I ended the call

It did not take a lot for me to get ready. I took a quick shower, got dressed and put the most necessary things in a small backpack.

As I was putting on my shoes Joohyun got out of her room.

“Where are you going?” She asked with a look I could not recognize.

“Out.” I quickly answered and closed the door.

After meeting up, I and Seungwan were slowly walking towards our friends’ house.

“Why did you bring Joohyun yesterday?” She asked me.

“She was being bullied in the girls’ toilet. I just could not leave her alone.”

“Wait! What? Who bullied her?” Seungwan shot numerous questions at me.

 “Let me finish. So… I left you to go to the toilet, right? Well, then I saw several girls, whose names I don’t know, shouting at Joohyun and calling her names. I felt really bad for her. The worst thing is that she did not even stand up for herself, she just stayed quiet. I just thought we could cheer her up a bit. That’s why she was with us.”

“Aha… I can see you are taking a liking for her. You never let people near you after so little time. It is not like the typical Seulgi.”

“Stop being delusional. I just helped her because I feel like I owe her. That’s all. Don’t make up stuff.” I quickly dodged this assumption of Seungwan.

“I do not agree….” She trailed off her words. I know she doesn’t believe me, hell, even I don’t believe myself.

“Let’s ask Yerim and Sooyoung if we should bring something” I interrupted her, I had no desire to discuss this right now and I quickly texted our friends

“There is everything we need in the house. When you arrive just go in, it’s unlocked.”  Sooyoung responded.

I showed the message to Seungwan and the rest of the walk was spent in awkward silence. Though, she was from time to time taking a glimpse of me and then smiling. What was so funny?

Gladly, we quickly arrived. We got into the house, but what I saw made me freeze.

Yerim and Sooyoung were sitting on the couch. Making out.

They did not even feel our presence until Seungwan loudly cleared . My body was still frozen and I could not move. They saw us and I swear I have never seen them so scared before.

“Seulgi, Seungwan…” Sooyoung started talking, but I interrupted her.

“I’m sorry, but I have to go.” I turned around, but Seungwan grabbed my hand and tried to stop me from leaving.  “Seul…” She muttered but I pulled away and started running.

“Seulgi, wait!!” I could hear them screaming my name, but I ignored them and kept on running, not even know
