Taeyeon was an antisocial sweetheart. Fragile. Basically a child that lives inside her apartment. Her life was perfectly quiet until he came into the picture.

He is Kwon Jiyong ; also known as G Dragon. He was mysterious and looked cold as ice.

She avoided him at all cost. She would scratch her arms whenever she caught a glimpse of him. She always wanted to know more about him but she was too scared to meet him or say anything to him.

Ever since he was her neighbor, she would hear so much shouting and loud noises next door. It annoyed her but at the same time it got her even more curious as to what was happening.

Then Tiffany, her best friend got her an interview with the CEO of the biggest company.

Taeyeon gave one of the secretaries that were showing her around the huge building a small smile as she followed her around like a lost puppy. She was amazed yet scared since she never has been in a building like this before. She then turned to the young women who had a door open for her. She gave her another small smile and bowed at her before entering the room. She noticed the room was quite big and very elegant. She turned to see the young lady walking forwards which caught her off guard and quickly followed her.

“Here is where you’ll be working at.” The young lady showed her a desk with shelves on the wall in the corner.

Taeyeon nodded at her, satisfied with it since she really liked simple things.

“I hope you like your place.”

A deep voice was heard behind her which made her froze.

Her eyes widen as she quickly turned around to see him. Her neighbor. Kwon Jiyong.

“Miss Taeyeon, this is Kwon Jiyong. He’s going to be your boss.” The lady introduced her to him.

Taeyeon gulped as she slowly bowed while rubbing her arms slightly from nervousness which caught Jiyong's attention. He smirked to himself as he turned to the lady and nodded at her for her to leave. She caught on and nodded as she left, leaving them both alone.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you.” He huskily said as he grabbed her hand which made her look at him shocked. He smirked at her as he pressed his lips against her knuckles while not breaking any eye contact. “My quiet girl next door.”

After that day, things started to get weird for Taeyeon as she wouldn't leave her apartment. She was glad that her job requested for her to work there in her apartment so she wouldn't see Jiyong.

But that didn't stop him. 

Taeyeon dragged her feet alongside the sidewalk as she tried to keep her eyes open from exhausted. She had a hard time at work and to have her boss yell at her for not doing some of her duties right just made her feel useless. She shook her head at the memory from earlier as she continued to drag her feet towards her apartment building that was a couple of blocks away from her right now. She groaned under her breath as she felt her legs were on fire since she had been standing up mostly all day. She suddenly heard a noise behind her. She quickly turned around as she looked around, not seeing anybody. She gulped as she continued to walk to hear footsteps behind her. Her eyes widen as she quickly turned around once again but saw nothing. She started to freak out as she immediately started to run. She heard the footsteps as well which scared her even more but she suddenly felt her ankle landing on the pavement which made a crack sound that also caused a whimper coming out of Taeyeon's mouth as she lost her balance and was slowly going down to the ground. She quickly closed her eyes waiting for the pain from hitting the ground but she never felt any pain. All she felt was warmth coming from around her waist. She noticed that it was someone’s arm around her waist. It was definitely muscular which was a man. Most definitely. She slowly opened her eyes, seeing her savior which shocked her as she looked at him; not being able to say anything. It was him.

He gave her a small smirk as he pulled her closer to his body as well as standing up straightly.

“Where you running to baby girl?”

Taeyeon gulped as her arms automatically holded on to his upper arms, feeling his toned up muscles which made her a bit uncomfortable since she was never any close to any man, only Seunghyun.

“Jiyong…” She managed to whisper.

He chuckled to himself as the smirk was still on his face as he got closer to her face which made her back away a bit. He looked at her amused at how cute she is.

“I won’t bite Taeyeon unless you want me to.” He whispered, smirking at her.

Taeyeon gulped softly as she managed to push herself away from him as she pushed a stray of her hair behind her ear as she avoided eye contact with him. She tried to walk by him but she suddenly felt pain on her ankle once again which made her lose her balance again but Jiyong caught her arm which shocked her once again as she looked at him. He didn’t say anything as he looked back at her again which felt like hours to Taeyeon before he bend down and lifted her up from the ground; causing her to gasp as he carried her bridal style. She automatically wrapped her arms around his neck which made him smirk.

“Don’t worry, I got you Taeyeon.” He whispered in her ear as he started to walk towards the apartment building.

So many questions were going thru her head but she decided to keep shut and just wait to get home, away from him.

But what happens when the famous G Dragon starts falling for his cute, awkward girl next door?
