INFORMATION

Hi guys! Happy belated Valentine's Day! I hope you all had a wonderful day with your loved ones! ^^ I'm really happy that EXO is coming back to LA for the EXO'rDIUM, because it'll be around my 21st birthday and I could have never imagined I'd ever get such a blessing. If any of you are also going, then hit me up! And if you want to save on hotel costs (bc la is v expensive), then I can probably provide free lodging. I'm currently figuring out the logistics with a friend, so let me know if you'd need a place to stay. (and if u're going to shinee world v in la, lmk too bc it'll b great)
 
Now, back to the contest. As of yesterday, stories that are shorter than ten chapters will now be accepted! So if you're not someone who writes long stories, then now is your time to start submitting entries to the contest! The reason I wanted to wait until now to accept those stories is because I do want to encourage new content and it takes relatively less time to write a one-shot versus a full-length fifty chapter story, for example. Short stories are not any less valuable than long stories, but I also want to even out the playing field a bit for people who prefer to write longer stories.
 
I've added Nosedive, Rain, Don't Worry, and Curtain to the song list, so feel free to use them as sources of inspiration if you'd like to. I've also added a Lotto poster and a For Life poster to the prize list. I may add EXO-specific Nature Republic cosmetics to the prize list, but that'll come later since I need to save money right now, haha. And if people want non-EXO-specific Nature Republic cosmetics as prizes, then I'm open to adding them to the prize list as well. Let me know what you think!

It's been a hell of a ride and a hell of an inspiration for me, personally as a writer, and I really appreciate all that you've pulled through with, even through everything that's happened lately. Chapter 25: first of all, i'd just like to say thank you so much for hosting this contest. you've been having an extremely rough time and i'm so happy you're feeling well enough to announce winners. everyone has been taking jonghyun's passing really hard. it took me a solid three days to realize it was real and not some news source's sick, awful prank.

i'm really grateful i was able to place eighth despite the fact that everyone was confused af in my comments. i was super nervous that it was horrible or something. congrats to all of the winners!!

Chapter 25: Thank you so much for hosting this contest! This is my first time participating in one and you made it as enjoyable as possible for me with the list of prizes and updates. honestly speaking I have been on writer's block for months ever since Pretend was published but somehow reading this today really made me wanna just sit down in front of my laptop and quickly start on my half-completed stories. I guess it's the motivation to do better :) anyway, thank you again!

Chapter 25: Ahhh, I’ve never actually participated in a contest before - I always said to myself ‘maybe I’ll do that!’ and then I never did. But I’m glad that wasn’t the case this time.
Thank you for doing this contest, and thank you so much for your message on Jonghyun. I’ve only just been able to start reading stuff again so I can only imagine how hard it was for you. But you did it! You read all the entries and you finished this contest, that’s as much of an achievement as people finishing their stories. And on the topic of finishing stories... I finished one! Granted it was a one-shot but I finished it! I am glad that I found this contest 24 hours before the deadline... because it gave me a push that I needed. But next time I’ll definitely look towards joining before the deadline hahaha
No matter what my ranking, I’m happy with myself for writing something so thank you for helping me to do that :)
And I’m happy with my ranking too!
