Jungkook opened his eyes, his forehead drenched in sweat.

"No..." he murmured, his hand reaching out to those around him. Namjoon and Taehyung were still beside him in their shared bed in the small hotel room, snoring softly. 

Everything reminded him that he was alive, even as his heart was wrenched with guilt.

That must've been a dream, an odd dream.

But despite that, felt an odd sensation on the right side of his forehead. The feeling of ice. A familiar sensation, somewhat airy and cloud-like, while also fearful and heart-wrenching.

What was it?

It was too late, by the time he heard the click.

It was too late, when he realized his dream was becoming reality.

It was too late.

Bang.
