CHAPTER 2

 

 

CL turn off her computer, she was confuse of GD lately, he’s been texting her a lot and sometimes he also called her, but in the other side, Dara keep on saying that GD does the same to her. And CL decided not to tell Dara about GD texting her, because from Dara’s story, he’s obviously approaching Dara. So, she tried to think that probably GD just being friendly to her.

CL startled when her phone rang and GD’s name on screen.

“Hello?”

“Hi, CL, what are you doing now?”

“I’m still at the office.”

“Oh… okay.”

“Is there anything I can help?” she asked.

“I want to return your blanket.”

“Oh…” she mumbled. “I’m going home soon, maybe, if you don’t mind you can give it to the reception at the lobby.”

“What time are you gonna be home?”

“Hmm… in an hour?”

“Maybe its better if I’m waiting for you… cause I don’t want something happen to the blanket.”

“Hahaha… but its just a blanket, nobody’s gonna steal it.”

“Yeah, but it saved my life from the bad winter.” He said.

CL smiled, “Alright, I’ll let you know once I got home.”

“Sounds perfect!” he said, “See you.”

 

CL entered her apartmemt building and found Gd already at the lobby.

“you’re here already?” she asked, “I was about to text you.”

“Yeah, I was at the convinience store.”

“Sorry, you must be waiting for a long time.”

“No.. I just got here around 10 minutes a go.” He said, “so… here’s your blanket.”

“You got yourself one already?”

He nods, “a warm blanket of my own!”

CL laughs, then she realized that it’s a bit awkward because they just standing there, “Well, thanks for bringing it here.”

“I should be the one who thank you.” GD said.

Then there was another awkward paused.

“Well, then…” she said, “I’m going upstairs, uh… you wanna come in?” she finally offering him to come because it seems impolite if she just let him back after walking in the winter night.

“Aren’t you going to rest?”

“Well, I’m going to cook dinner first, you can join me if you want.” CL said.

“OK!” he grinned.

 

CL gave him a bowl of rice while she reheat some beef dishes.

“You can cook?” he asked.

“Just simple dishes.” CL replied while sitting in front of him bringing the food. “Bon apetite!” she said.

They were eating just the two of them, strangely it doesn’t feel awkward, actually GD is talkative person, they’re talking about many things, about his life in Japan, about how they went into the same piano course but in different schedule so they never met each other and some other things that interested both of them.

“Wow, its amazing that you and I is actually very similar to each other.” GD said.

CL laughs, “Well, I don’t know many people that could be as weird as me.”

“Which way of you that is weird? I think you’re very normal.”

“My concern for cleanliness is somehow annoyed many people.” CL said.

“Being clean is good, you know, I’m also a very tidy person. I rearrange things in my room every week and clean it everyday.”

“Really? Omg! I can’t stand to see a single hair strain in my bathroom, so I kind of clean freak.”

“Give me five!” he raised his palm and CL toss it, “That’s probably why I couldn’t really live with anyone else beside me.”

“Except for a person like you?” CL asked.

“Exactly, I need to marry another clean freak.” He said.

Suddenly they paused.

“I—you know… I mean…” he awkwardly chuckles.

CL neutralized the situation with laughing, “Good idea! So she won’t leave you because you’re annoying, right?”

“Yeah…something like that…”

CL continues eating.

“And by the way, this weekend there will be a mini show by Akdong musician, do you know them?” GD said.

“Yes, of course! I looove them!” CL said, “How do you know them? Are they famous in Japan?”

“Yes, they are. I like them a lot… wanna go and see them?”

“When is it again?”

“This Saturday.” He said.

“Oh…” she replied, she usually spent Saturday with the girls and now she’s wondering if GD already ask Dara or others to come.

“But if you already have another plan, its okay.”

“No, its not that…”

“Or if you want to tag your boyfriend along its also okay.”

CL laughs, “I don’t have one.”

“Well, that’s a relieve.”

“What do you mean?” she asked.

GD grinned, “no… nothing.”

CL paused, a strange wave of feeling sneak into her chest.

“Wifeyyyy what are you doing this Saturday???” Dara suddenly appear in CL’s desk at the office.

“Oh heyy…” CL startled.

Minzy joins them.

“Saturday?” CL remembers GD asked him to hang out with him, “well…”

“You know that there’s a mini show of AkMu?” Minzy said.

“Really???” Dara asked back.

“You didn’t know?” CL asked.

“Nope! But I want to go! Let’s gooo… we all love AkMu” Dara said.

So he didn’t ask Dara to come with us? CL thought.

“Wifeeeyyy??” Dara poked CL.

“Oh, yes let’s go!” CL said.

Suddenly CL’s phone beep, she peeked on the screen and saw GD’s name and she immediately turn off the screen.

“CL unni, you’re the last person who always attach to your phone but I’ve been observing you that lately your phone se
