“Let me go!” you freed yourself from SungJong’s tight hug. Again, SungJong knew you wanted your time alone, so he let you go.

You wept silently as you ran to the nearest park you could see. Happy scenes passed you as if it was mocking you. Couples holding hands, families having fun and all those happy moments you knew you could never have. Distracted, you bumped onto a stranger who was strolling casually.

“OMO! Mianhe,” you apologized, still sobbing.

“Mianhe. Erm… did I make you cry?” there was panic in his voice. *wait a second. That voice* you gasped.

“SungYeol oppa?” you looked up and saw the step brother you love oh-so dearly.

“EunYoungie-ah? Ah I missed you so much!” his bear hug caught you off guard.

“Oppa pabo!” you nudged his tummy after he released you. ALL those tears you’ve cried had vanished.

“Why didn’t I see you and SungJong for 2 days already? I came back on the eve of Christmas only to find the house totally empty,” he was puzzled. SungYeol was thinking of the epic moment when he rushed in the house and shouted your name happily only to find the servants staring weirdly at him.

“Mwo? Oppa came home on the eve? Didn’t umma tell you that I stayed at DongWoo’s place and I’m getting married to him and we were kicked out of our house and also DongWoo’s,” you trailed off.

“I want you to tell me everything from the moment I left,” his tone became so serious that you were slightly afraid the he might throw a fit.
