THORNED

19 years passed he decided to stop crying and take advantage of the curse he traveled to many places his traveling ending in the states giving himself a new name Marshall Marumoto. Marshall was able to pass as a senior in high school or a freshman in college each time he looked at the flower he would feel anger and despair so many years and he could find his true love he had gone through so much pain witnessing many deaths of his loved ones. Due to the scaring he cared with him he didn’t dare become close with anyone he could just imagine the pain of watching the people he grew close to wither like a rose then becoming once with the soil. He lived a quiet life enrolling in school learning fairly quickly excelling in his subjects he graduated high school with honors receiving many scholars he had been given the chance to go to Harvard or Stanford he decided going to a university in Honolulu, Hawaii where he decided on persuading the career of a doctor he really didn’t care what career he majored in all that he wanted was to be close to the ocean, the ocean brought him peace reminding him of the times when he was truly happy. When he wasn’t busy pursing his studies he would watch the sun light up the ocean and how the moon would reflect on the water as if they were kissing. Years passed he received his diploma he advanced quickly as a doctor, on September 26 1995 the moment he had awoken he felt the day would be different from any other day. Arriving at work he felt his heart beating fairly quickly, at 3:15 pm he felt time stop he had help give birth to a baby girl but this just wasn’t any baby he had helped give birth to this little was his true love he knew it the moment he had held the child even if it was briefly. Marshall made it his mission to not lose her that day when he arrived home he noticed the flower had begun to bloom he thought his eyes was playing tricks on him he blinked rapidly but luckily his eyes had not played a trick on him. After that day he went on with his life he watched the girl from afar as the years passed the little began to bloom like a rose. When she matured he decided to approach her while she was sitting underneath a tree a drawing pad on her lap pencils scattered next to her he introduced himself as Kim Junmyeon. The girl believed they were both the same age, they quickly became friends when their relationship had grown close they were separated the girl had moved he took this chance and moved back to South Korea. Arriving in south korea his beauty didn’t go unnoticed he gained quite the popularity many claimed that he resembled the late prince yi wu each time he would hear that comment he chuckled to himself. He kept the name Junmyeon after months of being there he was scouted as a model he believed this way he could find the girl once more. In the company he came friends with a guy named Kim Minseok as time passed minseok was the only person Junmyeon came to trust. One night they had they day off they had decided to drink together it had been centuries since jun had a drop of alcohol they both got intoxicated fairly quickly due to the intoxication Junmyeon had spilled his secret minseok promised to not tell a soul and help him out the next day they got to work on trying to find the girl. Before they knew it the girl was coming to korea she had talked to their company she wanted to use the company’s models for her debut fashion show she was already a well-known fashion designer so the company had agreed. One day jun and minseok stepping into their favorite café upon entering the café jun felt a pain in his chest minding no attention to it he carried on. In the café was the young woman he had been longing to see bumping shoulders with her as she made her way out the café apologizing to each other before she left he went after her but she had disappeared into the crowd. The night came quicker than expected the moo was shining brightly than ever he thought it looked beautiful he felt like the moon was welcoming him to go on a walk agreeing to himself he went on the walk he felt like the moon was his true fiend it never withered it was always there the moon had witnessed his pain, the moon comforting him with the warm light it has to offer. His thoughts being consumed before he realized he was at han river where a girl was sitting at a bench looking at the river feeling another pang in his heart he sat down on the bench trying to catch his breath he closed his eyes taking deep breathes. Once calming himself when he opened his eyes he noticed he was alone disappointment crashing into him. As the days passed he didn’t see the girl again one day in Seoul it had been raining, heavy downfall today was the day he found out many years ago that his fiancé had died sadness gracing his features the rain made his hair stick to his forehead. The pain began in his heart this time he couldn’t handle it he felt his energy draining quickly as if all the years he had been alive finally caught up to him his bones began to ache his legs giving in he fell onto his knees his breath quickened his hand grabbed a fistful of his shirt where his heart was located. He heard a voice of a female calling out to him he looked up to see a girl with short brown hair, glasses covering her eyes he could sense the panic she emitted how her cheeks were covered by a red tint he couldn’t make out what she was saying he only knew that he lips were moving remembering how her lips were a tint of red. Squinting his eyes to look at her clearly he felt a lump in his throat his eyes watering quickly the girl looked like his fiancé exactly like her before he good the chance to call out her name darkness clouded his vision. The quickly noticed the stranger in front of her wasn’t feeling well she kneeled down so she could help him better but instead he passed out into her arms panic coursing through her veins she called for an ambulance. She too felt pain in her chest feeling overwhelmed with shaky hands she reached out to grab the guys hand taking a closer at him she had remembered him from the company’s profile he was going to be her model the warmth that radiated from Junmyeon’s hand calmed her as if she had held this hand before. When jun opened his eyes at first his vision was clouded by a bright light his mind quickly went into panic mode he thought he was dead but then it hit him he couldn’t be dead but he thought he had been finally freed but a noise of a monitor beeping brought him back to his senses. He had been greeted by minseok, he began to explain what had happened minseok didn’t leave out the part on how he had arrived with a female but disappeared after hearing he was okay. Jun grabbed onto minseok’s hand crying he told him that the girl has looked exactly like his fiancé. How she had gotten away for the second time minseok pitied his friend he didn’t know if he would be able to live a life like his friend. He had suffered so much he prayed for his friends’ pain to come to an end. Weeks has passed and the flower began to bloom this worried jun what if he gets to the last petal what would happen next. One evening jun had the afternoon free he took the day to his advantage and headed to the library while he was wondering in the library he spotted a girl with short hair reading a book her back turned to him the pain began to spring in his chest and his head he fought through the pain tapping her shoulder the girl turned around they came face to face. The air knocking out of his body her eyes he recognized those eyes the honey dew color with the hint of green staring deeply into her eyes giving him comfort despite the pain he was feeling. The girl had recognized him a small smile forming onto her lips after breaking the awkward tension between each other they learned that they were going to be working together. As the days went on they talked and saw each other jun would help her out with ideas for the fashion show. Junmyeon would surprise her with flowers, white flowers. Sometimes even a book one that had been his favorite and knew she would enjoy it he would even gift her with fashion books. The fashion show was drawing near the rose was now fully bloomed and petals had begun to fall. Jun knew he had to act quickly he prepared a date near the ocean memories coming back to him as he set up the date he remembered how he had confessed to his first love near the ocean and proposed to his fiancé feeling a pain of sadness as he recalled those memories. All memories vanished once the girl had arrived he had prepared a gift for her confessing his love for her underneath the moonlight the light seemed to embraced them in a loving way. As he confessed he also came clean about his secret fright clinged to them both but their love seemed to wash that fear away. He gifted her with a necklace, a blue rose necklace symbolizing their love. That night they became one. The rose now bared 4 petals spending most of their time together they had successfully completed the fashion show. They had a beautiful garden wedding her bouquet was filled with white rose and artificial blue ones symbolizing their never ending love. A couple of years had passed on a rainy day the last petal fell that day jun had gotten into a car accident sadly he passed away on the scene. To honor her husband, he was cremated his ashes being thrown into the moonlight ocean once his ashes touched the ocean that water lit up into a blue light just like the flower once looked. Minseok and the girl stood together as his ashes kisses the ocean they promised not to cry they needed to be strong, she was pregnant with junmyeon’s child. The day Junmyeon died she was gifted with the news she was with child. The night they buried Junmyeon she prayed for her child, for the child to have the fathers looks praying that jun would watch over the child for her husband to finally be resting and for them to be together in their next life.
