In a parallel universe there is a planet much like earth but with a few distinct differences. two suns hang ominously in the sky and rather than a world based upon technology,the inhabitants are blessed with something that we would call 'Magic'.Almost from birth they are taught to hone their inherent abilities so much that they are as much a part of them as arms and legs. Each person is attuned to an element although very few can harness the power to truly use it in combat and only after puberty can one's power be truly assessed.
War had been an ever-looming threat on their very existencefor as long as even the oldest of them could remember. They were in a shaky peace to their enemies in the north thanks to the barrier but secretly the kynarai knew it was weakening.unlike the 5 clans in the south that formed the peaceful alliance on kynara, the clans in the north could not be trusted. They desired to wage war and conquer all so those in the alliance did the only thing they could think of: they started a school from which they would train the best of their people to be warriors to fight the battles that they knew they could no longer avoid.
That is where your story really starts. Join the aurai academy and train among your gifted peers so you can hone your skills to fight off the evil.

When speaking ooc use brackets or the ooc group; No ooc drama will be tolerated so be respectful 004. one week dating ban except for moving couples 005. only one character per person but we will allow character changes as long as you don't abuse it 006. please rp in rooms and on walls to keep the rp active. Be friendly with everyone and do not be shy 007. Selective replies and face chasing are looked down upon. Please try to talk to more than just one person or your squad 008. only in pm or in the optional group 009. All Pregnancies are allowed but please do not go crazy with it(like 7 kids+ as a 24 year old) And each pregnancy must last at least a month 010. no character death but and violent plots are allowed with the rper's permission. No god-moding 011. Character abilities are determined by clan and how many emblems they have (Which they earn through completing monthly missions, training, or various heroic feats done for teachers or the Headmistress)
