Go Get 'Em
I Knew You Were TroubleThere were so many questions Ryeowook wanted to ask Donghae.
But of course, he had to wait. They had dinner and thankfully, Ryeowook’s colleagues didn’t really bothered about Donghae that much since they were a few of them. Sungmin was the one who chatted mostly with Donghae, asking him questions about his life. Ryeowook noticed however that when Sungmin asked about what Donghae did as a profession, Donghae brushed aside the question and distracted Sungmin by talking about something else. Donghae was sneaky and he was definitely hiding something. But that didn’t stop Ryeowook from being so happy that Donghae was finally home. All throughout dinner, Ryeowook and Donghae held hands under the table. Ryeowook didn’t want to let go, he missed Donghae too much. After dinner, Ryeowook wanted to just head home straight with Donghae. However, Sungmin invited them to a game of bowling and Donghae accepted it.
Ryeowook tugged on Donghae’s jacket and then whispered, “But I don’t know how to bowl.”
Donghae tilted his back at Ryeowook and winked, “It’ll be fun, come on.”
Ryeowook groaned as Donghae pulled him along, following Ryeowook’s friends into the bowling alley. Once inside, they got changed into bowling shoes and one of Ryeowook’s friends decided that it would be fun to split them into groups. They played a game of rock, paper and scissors suggested by Sungmin and were split accordingly.
Ryeowook frowned when he found that Donghae and him were in different groups. When he glanced around his team members, Ryeowook found himself swallowing nervously. . He was on the same team as Kyuhyun.
He had forgotten all about Kyuhyun the minute Donghae appeared back into his life. Not once had he even spared the poor guy a glance! Ryeowook noticed that Kyuhyun quickly looked away as Ryeowook looked at him.
They started their first match and the others played first while Ryeowook quietly watched from the seats behind. Donghae was seated with the other team but five minutes after the game started, Donghae had sneaked over to Ryeowook’s team and sat next to Ryeowook.
“You look bored,” Donghae whispered into Ryeowook’s ears.
Ryeowook pouted, “I don’t like sports.”
Donghae laughed quietly, fingers running through Ryeowook’s soft hair. “I should have told them that we couldn’t join them. Sorry.”
Ryeowook turned to Donghae, “Why did you want to join then?”
“I just wanted to make a good impression to your colleagues and… Sungmin.” Donghae shrugged, “How’s my progress?”
“And what do I tell them if they ask me what’s your relation to me?” Ryeowook dared questioning Donghae. “They’re probably gonna ask me about you on Monday at work.”
Donghae gazed into Ryeowook’s eyes, leaning slightly closer to Ryeowook, “Well… You can tell them that I’m your-”
“Hey Donghae, it’s your turn!”
Ryeowook scowled as Sungmin called for Donghae. Donghae raised his hands to Sungmin and then glanced back at Ryeowook. He looked upset too as his eyes lingered over Ryeowook’s lips and then leaned back, his own lips.
“Do you know that I’m a pretty good bowler?” Donghae lightly asked, grinning at Ryeowook.
Ryeowook raised his brows, pretending to look like he didn’t think so. “Nah, you don’t look like you’ll do well.”
Donghae’s eyes glinted as he took up the challenge, “Watch me, honey.”
Ryeowook giggled as Donghae picked up a pink bowling ball. It was so ironic to see such a manly muscular man holding a bright pink ball. The colour however did not stopped Donghae from confidently and easily rolling the ball and then knocking down all the damn pins. Ryeowook gasped in surprise, jumping on his feet as he cheered and then realised that Donghae was not on his team. His teammates however gave him a cheeky smile while Ryeowook sat down, cheeks flushing in embarrassment.
Donghae high-fived his teammates and even Sungmin and then walked to Ryeowook, plopping next to him, smirking cockily at Ryeowook.
“How was that?” Donghae playfully nudged Ryeowook.
Ryeowook scrunched up his nose playfully, “So arrogant.”
Donghae chuckled and then when it was Ryeowook’s turn, Donghae asked, “Do you need me to teach you?”
“How would I know if you won’t teach me the wrong way so that your team would win?”
Donghae chuckled and winked, “Maybe I would.”
“I’ll just figure it out on my own,” Ryeowook stuck his tongue out to Donghae.
Donghae copied Ryeowook but then winked playfully after that, “Good luck, babes!”
Ryeowook sighed as he walked over and picked up another pink ball. This time, it was a much brighter pink than Donghae’s and Ryeowook narrowed his eyes at Donghae who was quietly laughing at him. Ryeowook picked up the heavy ball and then walked forward, not even sure how he was supposed to hold the damn ball.
Before Ryeowook could try and figure out on his own how to go about throwing his ball, he heard someone clearing their throat from behind him and then looked around.
“Do you need help with that?”
A deep voice asked him and Ryeowook nervously laughed, “Kyuhyun… It’s fine.”
Kyuhyun chuckled softly and then pointed at Ryeowook’s fingers, “Your fingers should be in the holes right there on the ball.”
“Like this?” Ryeowook asked, confused as he inserted his fingers to where Kyuhyun had told him to.
Kyuhyun nodded and then stood next to him, “Stand here and then swing your ball like this.”
Kyuhyun demonstrated to Ryeowook what he should do and when Ryeowook tried to stand in position, Kyuhyun shook his head, “Not like that, here let me help you…”
Kyuhyun moved behind Ryeowook, slipping a hand on Ryeowook’s waist as he showed Ryeowook how to stand into position and what he should do when he wante
