For You
Warriors Against the DarknessFor the rest of the day, they trained against skilled fighters, and Yoongi found that it was very difficult to not get intimidated and frustrated with the man he was sparring with. He felt completely inadequet, and by the end of the training session, he was exhausted. All he wanted to do was go back to his room and sleep, but he knew that wouldn't happen. If they were going to defeat The Void, they would need to be ready to fight, so that would take sacrifice of sleep. He knew that he wasn't anywhere near ready to face what was ahead, but they all would be, in time. Glancing over at the others, he noticed that one of the chosen men was a natural with a sword, and he couldn't take his eyes off of his fluid movements. It was quite impressive.
After training was over, Yoongi made his way over to the impressive fighter. "Hi. I couldn't help but notice how good you are at this! It's pretty cool. My name's Yoongi, by the way." He added the last part with a smile.
The other man shrugged, placing his sword back into the sheath. "Thank you! I have used a sword before, so I can help you guys with it, if you would like." He laughed, ducking his head. "I'm not trying to sound stuck up or anything. I'm sorry if it came out that way. I'm Namjoon. It's nice to meet you, Yoongi."
Yoongi laughed, shaking his head. "I don't think it came across as stuck-up. You'll just have a lot of work training the rest of us. Look forward to it! I know I am!"
Namjoon laughed, his eyes sparkling. "Thanks! At least I enjoy it, you know?"
"Yeah, no kidding! So, I guess we have a short time to train, then we have to get ready to leave," Yoongi felt his heart jump at the thought of going up against something he wasn't sure about, the nervousness getting to him. They were supposed to save the world, and that sounded crazy to him. He definitely wasn't ready for that, nor was he ready to spend so much time with Jimin.
"Would you like to spar with me?" Namjoon asked him. "I promise I'll go easy on you."
Yoongi nodded. If they were supposed to leave soon, he would need to get in as much practice as he could now. "Sure! And don't worry about going too easy on me. We're all supposed to be good at handling our weapons, right?"
The other man shugged. "Yes, we are. So, are you ready? This is the only time I'll ask you."
Yoongi nodded, pulling his sword out again. "Yes, I am. Let's go!"
They began sparring, and he found that Namjoon was very quick, and a great teacher. Yoongi also found that he enjoyed fighting against him, and as they continued to spar, he became encouraged and strangely excited. They sparred for the rest of the day, and Yoongi noticed that Namjoon brought other people into it, too, teaching them as they went. He was a great leader, something Yoongi was grateful for. This was the best way to become a team, and also get to know one another better.

By the end of the day, Yoongi was tired, falling into his bed. This would be one of the last times he would sleep in his bed, with his cat. Sasha would unfortunately be staying there, and he hoped that she would be taken care of. Running his hand down her back, another thought occured to him, stabbing the young man in the heart. if he didn't return, Sasha would be very upset, and alone in the world. He was determined to not let that happen. Closing his eyes, he pulled her close, vowing to return to her.

The young men trained together for two weeks, getting to know each other and becoming as much of a team as possible in the short time they had. Yoongi tried to avoid Jimin, but found it nearly impossible. The younger man had obviously recognized him, and the two were still awkward
