The Day
Far From Perfect
My heart ached. It was the day. The day I would have to kick Jimin out for good. The day everything would change.
It was our day.
I stared at the beautiful wedding dress, fitted perfectly on me. Clear jewels filled the bodice and flowed elegantly down to the floor. The backless dress shone and my hair was let down, flowing in slight curls towards my chest. My makeup was done, and the veil was held up by a sparkling diamond tiara.
Not only was my heart breaking as each moment passed on, but I felt nervous and anxious. I don't know if it's dread or the "before bride" syndrome.
Maybe both?
I looked at the individual beside me. Jin's eyes were slightly watery and he stared proudly back at me.
"5 years and my little girl is already getting married" he said
"Well, to make things fair I had to endure 19 horrendous years without you" I lightly smiled back
"You look beautiful" he said
"Haha well I better. Don't want Yoongi ditching me at the altar now do we?"
He chuckled and then walked out of the room, closing the door behind him.
I had requested the marriage to be in Toronto, and Yoongi agreed that we could live here after marriage as Toronto had been the city of my birth...and the funeral place of mum and dad...and Jimin's parents.
I smiled at myself in the mirror and tried to held back my tears.
Jin and Namjoon as parents were amazing.
But it just wasn't the same as my real mum and real dad.
*Flashback*
We were at the park, and the sun was setting. The grass moved with each breeze and I saw a familiar figure with a warm smile walk, arms open to receive me
"Daddy!"
"Aw, my little princess!" Dad chuckled as he hoisted a 9 year-old me into the air and onto his shoulders
"Hi Ji!" A boy sliding down the slide said
"Hey" I responded, blushing a little
Dad was silent. We walked quietly till we got home until dad finally sat down, and placed me on his lap and then kissed my cheek.
"Jina? You love me right?"
"Of course I do daddy. Stop asking such silly questions."
"But the boy?" He raised one eyebrow
"Daddy, listen. I'm too small, I mean I can't even reach my top shelf yet! And when I do get married, just like Aunt Bora, remember that even though I found my prince...you will always be my KING"
Dad's eyes watered and he quickly blinked the tears away as we heard mum coming down the stairs
"And you will always be my princess"
*Flashback Ends*
"Mom, Dad? If he s up today...please haunt the out of his
