Mark was the epitome of a model trainee. He had a squeaky clean reputation and fresh face that appealed not only to the hearts of teenage girls, the main clientele of male idol groups, but also older adults who couldn’t help but feel like cooing over his innocent demeanour and cherubic boyish good looks. He was also a triple threat, being not only exceptional in his rapping skills, but could hold his own against some of the best trainees in dancing and singing as well. In spite of his skills, there was not a hint of arrogance in this down-to-earth and good-natured sunshine boy. He always had kind words, looked out for those who were lost or straggling and never vied for the limelight and attention. Everywhere Mark went, he injected his positivity and optimism into the atmosphere. There was nothing going against Mark for his impending debut in 2016. He was young, talented and passionate.

However, nobody saw the sweat, tears and blood. Nobody could.
