Chapter 6: Soulmates

 

"Hey." Luhan sat beside me. "You've been silent for a while now. What happened?"   I shifted closer to his side and lean my head on his broad shoulders. Luhan put an arm over my shoulder and slowly caressed it.    "Lu, do you believe in reincarnation?" I asked.   "Hmm..why did you asked?"   "I guess its real after all." I looked up at him, my eyes started to water. "Kris. He, he looks like Kristoff, he sounds like Kristoff. He even said something to me." I wiped my tears with the back of my hand.    "He said that..my eyes. It looks like I've seen the world for over hundreds of years." I sobbed. "Kristoff also said that to me."    "Lu why is this happening? Is destiny playing with me? Am I getting crazy?" I cried. Luhan  hugged me, trying to clam me down.   "Hush now Elly." He said. "Maybe, maybe destiny have plans for you." Luhan wiped the tears in my eyes and looked at me. "Do you remember when we're in Scandinavia? We met this fortune teller and she read your palm. Do you remember?   "Ahm..that's like over 700 years ago." I replied, still sobbing.   "Yeah. Well she's not really a legit palm reader. Ha ha." Luhan laughed. "But she told you something. Something about soulmates. You remember?   I shook my head. "Lu its a very long time."   "Okay, Good thing I have a sharp memory. She told us about this old Norse mythology about the goddess Freya. She's famous for her fondness of love, fertility and beauty. The Nordic people offer gifts for her, especially women." Luhan shifted in his sit.    "Then there's this newly wed couple, Anya and Floki. They are really, really happy but Floki died during the war. Anya wasn't the same since Floki died. Then Anya died because she was so lonely. She can't live a life without Flok
