Chapter 3: Hybrid     Shanghai in morning is quite dusty. The smog fills the skyline and I can't see the blue sky. All I see is grey. I miss the old times. Everything is peaceful and serene. The sky is beautiful and the air is clean. I blame the industrialization that England started.    We're at the 14th floor of the hospital and Luhan brought me here so he can check my health. He's been doing this for hundred of years already but my results are still the same. Normal and healthy. He told me that today's technology is pretty much advanced and maybe we can decipher what really happened to me, why did I acquire this long lasting life?   "Penny for your thoughts?" Luhan interrupted my thoughts. "Its time for your check up!" He said joyfully while holding his stethoscope. I smiled at his childishness.   "I know." I pulled up my sleeve and he checked my blood pressure.    "Hmm..still normal, still the name. 110/70." He told me. "Your heartbeat is normal. I ran some test with your blood and urine and they are all normal. No diseases or virus. You're still healthy! He chimed.    "Your organs are still functioning well even though they are all almost a thousand years old. Amazeballs!" He clapped. I smacked his head.    "Aw!" He massaged the part where I hit him. "Don't hurt your doctor!"    I snickered and sat down on the patient's bed. "Hey Lu."   "Hmmm?" He replied but he's not looking at me. He's busy reading some patient's chart.   "Did you find anything?" I ask.   "Anything about what?"   "Me." I replied. "You said you have a friend whose specialty is Developmental Biology. Did she found out anything?"    "Oh that." Luhan put the patient's chart on the table. "She gave me your results yesterday."   "Oh. So did she find anything?" I asked.
