Dinner with the Son's

Keeping Up With Monsta X || Growing Together

“Shownu, honey,” Adda called out over the noise of the running sink in the kitchen, echoing throughout the household. Down along the hallway inside the children's bedroom, Shownu shouted back with a small groan as one of the children climbed onto his back, wrapping her arms around his neck and asking sweetly for a piggyback ride. “How are the kids coming?”

“We're – oof!” Shownu grunted as he walked out of the room, stumbling along the hallway as his son wrapped himself around his leg, his other daughter running and jumping along his free leg demanding another piggyback ride. “I think we're ready!”

“You already had your turn! I wanna ride appa!” the small girl shouted as her short legs tried to jump at Shownu's tall torso.

“Aigooo, come here,” the tall male chuckled as he reached down with one of his arms, bending his knees and picking the girl up into his arm to carry her attached to his side.

“Appa what about me?” his son whined following a chuckle as he started to pull at Shownu's pant leg as if trying to climb up to reach his siblings. “That looks like fun! Me next!”

“No! Appa needs to carry me too! You're hogging him you guys!” the youngest out of the trio pouted as her arms wrapped tightly around Shownu's shoulders, kicking her legs around.

Adda couldn't help but lean over outside of the kitchen to see her children competing for their father's attention. It was so cute how Shownu always managed to find a way to give all three of them attention and continue to play and keep up with their consistent want for attention. Shownu plopped down onto one of the couches in the living room with an exaggerated sigh.

“Oh no! Appa's tired!”

“Quick we need to recharge his batteries!”

“I'll get the magic wand!” The kids all ran separate directions, one running into the bedroom and grabbing one of the remote controls to their remote control cars (the batteries dead), the youngest of the daughters climbing over to the other side of the couch to grab a pillow to use as a makeshift fan to cool Shownu off. Their only son ran off onto his own solo journey into the kitchen to get a glass of water.

“Omma!” he started bringing his hands together in front of him to make small grabby hand motions. “Appa needs water! Please!” His cheeks puffed out as he started to wiggle in place with his feet tapping against the ground with excitement over being able to help his father recover from battle.

“Hurry! We need to bring him back so he can dance for us!” One of the daughters chanted while waving the pillow faster in attempt to make the wind blow stronger to cool Shownu off. Both of the parents couldn't help the string of laughter coming from their lips as they adored how caring their were toward their father. Shownu closed his eyes and played dead for the children, shaking a little with a robotic grumble before finally powering down.

“Oh no!” the girls screamed and started shouting. “Quick! Omma! We need the potion to bring him back!” Adda smiled before playing along with the children with her voice going up in pitch and her jaw dropping in worry.

“Oh no! We can't let him power down on us!” She turned to the fridge and pulled out a water bottle, bringing it down to her son to place in between his open palms. “Quick go make sure Appa re-changes.”

“I got it guys!” he shouted and ran into the living room and climbing up onto the couch with his sisters. They all cheered and worked together in opening the water bottle, holding Shownu's face still and pouring the water into his mouth in hopes of their “potion” working.

Shownu wiggled with a couple more grunts before popping his eyes open and wrapping his arms around his children with a small roaring sound. The young siblings all screamed and tackled into their father's chest, their words rambling together about how thankful they were Shownu was back. Shownu smiled with his eyes scrunching into the cute eyesmile as his fingers brushed the hair away from their faces, making sure he could see those smiles and wipe away his youngest daughter's tears of joy. He loved taking care of them and adored how his youngest would become so emotionally attached. She was his princess and he always looked forward to how she would let him wipe away her tears.

“Honey,” Adda started with her shoulder leaning against the door frame to the kitchen. Shownu placed a small kiss to his daughter's forehead before turning his attention to his wife calling. “Can you come help me set the table? I think the others might be here soon.”

The children gasped and whined. “Appa do you have to?”

“Don't worry, you'll have your uncles to play with soon,” Shownu said with a soft smile, pulling the kids into another quick tight squeeze before leaving to join his wife.

“Uncles?” they both heard an extra loud gasp from one of the daughters.

“Is Uncle Kihyun gonna sing for us?!”

“Omma, is Uncle Jooheon gonna play with us?!”

“No! Uncle Jooheon has to teach me how to break dance!”

Adda curled a loose fist to cover her lips and hold in the laughs and snickers as she found their reactions adorable. Who would have thought Jooheon would be their favorite? Shownu brought one of his hands to rest on Adda's hip, his lips leaning in to place a small kiss onto her lips. They both exchanged a small scrunch of their noses and their smiles before Shownu entered the kitchen to grab some of the plates that were set out on the counter. He carefully picked the plates onto his arms and guided everything carefully into the dinning room, placing things onto the table as his wife sighed in content watching the kids curled up on the couch. She overheard their excited cheers about their uncles and what they wanted to play before dinner.

“Is everything okay?” Shownu asked softly as he walked up behind Adda, resting his arms loosely around her waist and pulling her body to lean against his chest. His head rested against the side of hers as he joined her gaze at their children smiling and laughing while tossing one of the couch pillows into the center between them, finding another way to make use of the furniture in a game of hot potato.

“Hm? Yeah,” Adda chuckled softly as she turned her head to look back at her husband. “I'm just... amazed at how lucky we are.” She smiled as Shownu kissed her forehead.

“We are pretty lucky, huh?”

“Of course we are,” she continued with her hand going up to cup Shownu's chin, slightly squishing his lips into a fish-mouth shape. “And they're lucky to have such a good Appa to take care of them; they love you more than I do honey.” Shownu couldn't help the stutter in his response, tipping his head to look down with his awkward 'uh' noise as one of his hands went to rub at the back of his neck.

“Yeah...,” was all Shownu could say as his lips stayed parted. Adda laughed at his sheepish reply and placed a quick peck to his lips. He grinned a bit wider, soon coming back from his awkward state. “Let's just hope they have a good time with their uncles.”

“They always do, honey, why would you worry about that?” Adda chuckled as her arms folded against her chest, her body turning to rest her back against the wall and leaning closer into her husband's strong chest.

“Jagiya... you know how crazy they can get.”

“KNOCK KNOCK!” Jooheon's voice roared as he walked into the house, kicking a leg out and throwing his arm out in a fist in the air.

“Uncle Jooheon!” the children all shouted in unison and ran toward the door to try and tackle Jooheon as he plopped himself down to their level with his arms open for their small bodies.

“You really did come!”

“I knew you wouldn't leave me!”

“Jooheon is here for you! Now how are my favorite little rappers?” Jooheon chuckled as he let himself be pulled deeper into the house, leaving the girl behind him with an amused smile on her face.

“He wasn't lying when he said the kids loved him,” she chuckled as took Jooheon and her own coat to hang onto one of the extra spaces on the coat rack.

“I think he loves them more than the kids love him,” another girl said behind her, slumping her body down in defeat as her hands dropped a heavy bag onto the floor.

“Kyoung-Mi! Faith! Welcome,” Adda said as she walked toward the girls, taking the heavy bag away from Kyoung-Mi to bring into the kitchen. “I was hoping Jooheon would bring you,” she chuckled at Faith as the other girl snorted with a laugh in return.

“That boy wouldn't leave me alone until I gave him a yes to the invite. Not that I would say no anyway,” Faith laughed as she followed Adda into the dining room, reaching into the bag to help pull out the groceries that she and Kyoung-Mi had brought with them.

“I think you would say no just to get him to cutely beg you to come,” Kyoung-Mi said with a chuckle, plopping herself into one of the seats at the dining table.

“Where's Wonho?”

“Won-who? Oh! He's still at the car; he had to make a phone call and told me to go ahead without him,” Kyoung-Mi explained with a small laugh. “He didn't wanna keep me away from girl time with you; he knows how much I miss hanging out on a daily basis.”

“Are you sure?” Adda asked with a playful grin.

“What's with that look?”

“Are you sure he told you to go ahead or you told him you weren't waiting for him?” Faith joined in, playfully side eyeing her friend.

Kyoung-Mi only waved her hand around with a click of her tongue. “A little column A, a little column B,” she chuckled before reaching over to steal one of the small cookies from the platter she brought. “Actually these are really nice tasting... who made them again? I just delivered.”

Faith and Adda took a quick look at the tray. “I think Larmie brought them...”

“Where is she come to think of it --”

“We're here!” Minhyuk's voice cheered through the door with more people coming in behind him. Larmie and Haeun were following the bright blond boy with smiles and waves.

“There you guys are,” Adda laughed a bit as the girls in the dining room waved at them walking in.

“Uncle Minhyuk!” the kids cheered with more excitement as another one of their beloved uncles ran over to great them with bear hugs.

“Larmie! The cookies are great! But where's Kihyun? Weird to see you come without your boyfriend attached to your hip,” Faith wiggled her eyebrows at her friend.

Larmie made her way over and picked up one of the said cookies as her best friend Haeun followed beside her. “I know they taste amazing; Kihyun and I worked on the recipe together since I refuse to let him continue to get all the credit.”

“We gave her a ride since Kihyun had another song to finish before he could leave the venue; you know how much that guy loves singing for his fans,” Haeun said with half full from the cookie. Her eyes widened at the taste. “These are really great!” the small girl soon turned her body over, calling for Minhyuk's attention. “Yeobo you gotta try these before they're all gone!”

Minhyuk's head snapped back in a half second, his jaw dropped with his eyes widened. “All gone?! Are those the ones Kihyun and Larmie were talking about?!” The blond male came running over with one of the kids still clinging onto his arms, the high pitch giggles following the trip. Once he was close, Haeun made sure to place the cookie into his mouth, rewarding her devoted boyfriend with a sweet peck to his cheek. Minhyuk returned the peck, this time on her lips before going back into the living room to join with the children playing with Jooheon.

“You two are so adorable it almost makes me sick,” Kyoung-Mi complained with a playful shove to her friend.

“Oh like you're one to talk,” Haeun replied, returning the push back at her friend. “You and Wonho are pretty cute too considering that you two have been together the longest.”

“Nah if it's a competition, I'm pretty sure Adda and Shownu would win.”

“What makes you say that Kyung?” Faith asked with her eyebrow chucking upward with an amused look, knowing that her friend was just making excuses to dodge how cute her relationship really was.

“Because do you see where we're at?” Kyoung-Mi exaggerated with her hand motioning to the house around them. “These two are adorable with their children, happy marriage and heart warming house we're all over visiting at.”

“She's got a bit of a point,” Larmie said with a small swing of her head side to side.

“Shownu sure is the perfect husband and father...” Haeun muttered in agreement.

“And they sure do have adorable kids,” Kyoung-Mi added, all of them ignoring Adda's blushing face and hiding behind her glass of water she had lingering on the table for herself.

“Yeah that's all true but still! Just because they're the furthest in their relationship, doesn't make you and Wonho any less adorable,” Faith folded her lips into a thin smile, poking playfully at her best friend's arm, all of them laughing at how Kyoung-Mi's body shot up at the ticklish feeling. One of the things that reminded them why they found her and Wonho adorable; they were both super ticklish.

“Y-yah stop paying attention to me – we have cookies here you know.”

“Did somebody say cookies?” The girls in the dinning room turned their heads to the door and saw the others arrive. Hyungwon arrived with Changkyun and their “dates for the night” (or every night as they were so used to seeing), Lexi and Erny trailing behind them.

“Save some for me!” they hard Wonho shout with his blond head shaking slightly for attention before his face came into full view to the household. He closed the door behind him and followed the previous guests over to the tray for a cookies that everybody had been hearing about prior to the dinner.

All of them were excited to try the treat and gathered around the tray. Wonho, however, decided to turn his attention to his girlfriend, scooting himself into her seat and placing her half onto his lap, leaning his head on her shoulder as to wait for her to feed him the cookie instead of getting one himself.

“So did Kihyun really let Larmie help with these?” Hyungwon asked as his fingers picked up one of the cookies, taking a quick look at them.

“Or did he just say that and have her watch him do all the work as he made them himself?” Changkyun asked with a chuckle as Larmie playfully slapped his arm.

“Yah that was one time Changkyun, it doesn't happen all the time,” she laughed as she tried to pick the cookie away from his hand. “If you doubt me so much, I don't think you deserve a cookie.”

“Not a chance,” Changkyun replied and quickly dodged her hand, popping the treat into his mouth, right away chewing so the girl wouldn't be able to take it from  him.

Everybody laughed before Adda excused herself to go back into the kitchen to check on the simmering dishes for dinner. Shownu followed her to make sure she had all the help she needed and everybody started conversing, catching up on their lives they felt so missed out on.

“Uncle come play with us!” One of the children shouted as the males turned their attention to the cute smiling faces they adored.

“Uncle Jooheon is gonna teach me how to beat box!”

“Is he now? I gotta see this,” Changkyun chuckled as he and Hyungwon made their way into the living room, plopping onto the couch to watch Jooheon in action with the kids.

Wonho stayed behind and lingered his lips against Kyoung-Mi's cheek, his chin resting on her shoulder. “Don't I get a cookie?”

“No.” Kyoung-Mi said firmly, her hand bringing her half empty water bottle to her lips, taking a long drink from it.

“Oh c'mon Jagiya, I need something sweet.... I still have the taste of Hyungwon's badly made ramen in my mouth,” he pouted while nuzzling back against her cheek and placing a small peck. The two of them couldn't help but chuckle at his attempt to warm up to his girlfriend giving him the cold shoulder.

“If that's the case, you can feed yourself; you have hands.” Kyoung-Mi said as her fingers pinched at Wonho's cheek with a small wiggle before letting go of the flesh and placing a small tap against the area.

“I don't wanna,” Wonho whined as his hand moved Kyoung-Mi's wrist to the cookies on the plate, trying to make her grab the cookie for him to feed him.

While the children cheered trying to do the dance moves, spinning on the floor like Jooheon was showing them, Minhyuk slipped away for a moment into the kitchen. He waited as Shownu had his back turned to the stove. He, Adda, and Larmie were in the kitchen and yet all Minhyuk could do was stare at Haeun. He watched his beloved girlfriend as she laughed and cheered for the kids, watching how they tried their best to flip and do handstands despite their bodies only rolling on the ground. He watched as she clapped her hands and threw her head back at Jooheon teaching Shownu's son how to do aegyo. He even sighed in content seeing how she fixed the youngest daughter's hair, pulling it away from her face and fixing the clip with a warm smile.

“She's the one,” he muttered softly. Shownu however heard and made a small questioning noise, causing the girls to stop and silently watch. Minhyuk's eyes never left Haeun as his hand rested over his heart. “She's the one Shownu-Hyung,” he repeated before turning over to him, gripping excitedly onto wrists and tugging. “I'm gonna marry her. I'm gonna marry Haeun!”

Shownu was lost for a moment, his eyes blinking a couple times while trying to process the news Minhyuk just dropped on him. “You're getting married?”

“Yes! Eventually! I mean – I'm gonna propose to her first. I even got the ring! I'm gonna take a while to plan it though... I really want it to be perfect because just look at her.. she's the one! She's gonna be the most beautiful bride ever and she's gonna be so cute with our kids just like how she is with yours. I'm gonna go all out and make sure the proposal is perfect but I just had to tell somebody!” Minhyuk tried his best to keep his excited yelling to a lower volume as he leaned in closer with a finger pressed to his lips. “But nobody else knows yet, so don't say anything okay?” The blond boy flicked his head over to check really quickly at Haeun as she threw her head back at the way the kids started poking at Jooheon's dimples and how they'd scream when he gave them an animal like growl. He couldn't help but sigh silently as his eyes practically turned into hearts. “I mean... just look at her...”

“O-okay you got it,” Shownu said with his lips curling into a small smile, nodding along with Minhyuk's nods. “I'm excited for you, Minhyuk. I bet she's gonna make you the happiest person alive... more so than now.”

Appa! Can you dance for us?!”

Yeah! Come dance for us!”

Dance!” came Jooheon's voice, getting the children from the other room to chant, clapping their hands in hopes of getting Shownu to perform for them.

“I... I should go out there,” Shownu said with a small chuckle as Minhyuk nodded and patted his back, shoving him out of the kitchen.

“Jooheon's chanting – I gotta see this,” Adda said with a small laugh, turning to Larmie with a small pat on her shoulder. “But you gotta take notes for me and check in later.” The both of them nodded making small motions toward Minhyuk. Adda left and soon it was just Larmie and Minhyuk alone in the kitchen.

“So Minhyuk,” Larmie started as she wrapped an arm around his shoulders, pulling him close, “you wanna marry Haeun right? What'cha got planned? Your proposal is gonna be perfect. Your wedding is going to have a sweet theme and if you don't have it perfectly down, I'm gonna get you there.” Larmie playfully winked before poking his cheek. “Now let's talk date details and setting. She's gonna love it if you propose to her at sunset, as long as you make sure you're both able to bask in the brightly colored sky at that time.”

Minhyuk only nodded and excitedly started to rub his hands together, huddling over with Larmie to the side of the house to talk about whatever other details she might have to give. Minhyuk was so close to taking out his phone and typing the notes only to have Larmie shake her head with a chuckle, telling him he would make it seem too obvious instead of keeping it a secret.

Shownu's body put out sharp movement after movement, popping and locking his body to whatever rhythm was in his mind. Throughout the whole performance the kids where let out 'ooh's and 'ahh's as their appa gave it his all. The small show was over and they started to chat in their cute voices.

“Encore appa!”

“Encore! Encore! Encore!” Soon Jooheon slid himself beside the children, clapping his hands and chanting in time with them. He made sure to complete the act with his aegyo voice and cute smile.

“Yah... Jooheon, aren't you supposed to be an uncle?” Hyungwon asked with his eyebrows raising.

“I am!”

“Then what are you doing acting like a child?”

“I'm not being a child! I connect with the kids! It's proof that I can be a great Appa too, just like Shownu-hyung!” There was silence for a moment before a small roar of laughter from the people surrounding him. “I'm serious! I'm gonna be a great dad!”

“Says the only one out of us that isn't in a relationship. Are you really gonna try and start this competition up again?”

“I'm sure we all know who's gonna be the Appa next out of us,” Changkyun said with a small laugh, completely amused by the sulking Jooheon slumped next to the kids.

“Who else can beat me as Appa material?” Jooheon whined with his annoyed face that some of them just found adorable.

Soon there was another sound of the door opening and a familiar voice. “Sorry I'm late!”

“Uncle Kihyun!” the children all shouted in unison, soon climbing off Jooheon where they rested and running over, ignoring the pained groans from the other male.

“Hi there everybody, and my favorite little rock stars,” Kihyun said as one of his hands reached down to pull each one of them into a hug. He then stood up straight and wiggled the wine bottle inside his hands. “I brought a little something to make up for the lateness.... I hope it's something suiting for such a warm home,” he said as he grinned his signature smile with his dimples flashing.

Adda carefully walked over and reached for the wine bottle, bringing it to the dinning room table, where Kyoung-Mi's eyes lit up. “Whoa! Kihyun really did go all out for us... Larmie you sure do got an overachiever~” she teased as Wonho left her side (finally) to greet his best friend as well as the other members did so. They started to ask questions about how his performance went when Larmie s her arms around Kihyun's body to try and cling onto his small frame.

“Yah guys, I don't care if you wanna smother him in your love and questions, but I need my hello kiss you know,” she joked and hiked up onto her tippy toes to steal a quick peck from Kihyun's lips. The other guys groaned in a fake disgust as the two were finally detangled from each other. Even though they were long-term boyfriend and girlfriend, they were never let to do anything skinship related without the others playfully teasing. It never got old.

“Now who said what about somebody being somebody being the next Appa?” Kihyun wiggled his eyebrows as Jooheon hiked up.

“Me! I'm gonna be a great Appa! I'm already teaching Shownu-hyung's son right; he can even beat box and rap! Isn't that right?” Jooheon said with his cheeks puffed out, placing his snapback onto the small boy's head. It was too big, of course, and ended up falling and covering his eyes.

“Right...” Changkyun said once he saw how the child struggled with placing the over-sided snapback. “I can tell he's already like the splitting image of you.. with Shownu's charisma.”

“Yah,” Jooheon started with his finger pointing out at the younger, almost threateningly. “Watch what you say,” he finished as the boy slipped out from under his arm, making Jooheon fall onto his side. He clung onto the large hat and ran off around the living room and down the hallway. “Whoa – No. Come back with that!” Jooheon started to shout in panic, scrambling up to his legs and chasing after him. The children soon all started to scream and run around in circles along with the older, trying to keep the hat away from him.

“You'll never take me alive!”

“No oppa don't do it!”

“Uncle Jooheon can't get it if we run faster!”

Erny laughed before standing beside Changkyun, plopping her arms onto one of his shoulders and leaning her weight onto him. “You know, you really do know how to push his buttons,” she commented with her fingers brushing the hair away from his face to leave a soft kiss to his cheek.

“I know,” he replied with a small click of his tongue as his arm wrapped around her waist, resting in a firm hold against her hip. “I think that's what makes things more fun. Usually the kids focus mostly on Shownu. I think he deserves a break and Jooheon has a lot of energy.”

“I'm gonna go help Adda out in the kitchen, I think we're gonna get the wine opened up to breath before drinking... it might be a hunt to find the wine opener,” Erny sighed softly before giving a small pat onto her boyfriend's back. “Be nice to them, mm?”

“Of course I will noona,” Changkyun replied with a soft smile, leaning to place a quick kiss to her lips, his hand cupping her cheek to brush his fingers against the flesh affectionately. “I love you,” he whispered loud enough only for them to hear.

“I love you too,” she whispered back before turning her attention and pulling away from her boyfriend. “Lexi,” she called out to her friend, seeing that she had been doozing off, slowly falling asleep on Hyungwon's shoulder. Lexi woke up right away with a small shout.

“W-what? What is it?” Lexi rubbed her eye with the back of her hand and she pushed herself to sit up on the couch to keep from doozing off again.

“Come on, we gotta help Adda find the wine opener; you know that always goes missing when we need it.”

“...I hope we don't take forever this time,” Lexi said with a small chuckle before leaving the already sleeping Hyungwon and joining her friends in the kitchen and dining room where everybody had already started looking for the said tool needed for the wine.

Once the girls were out of sight Changkyun plopped back down into his seat beside Hyungwon. “So...,” he started before turning his head to face the older, “are you and Lexi still 'nothing serious'?”

Hyungwon peeked one eye open before giving the maknae a smug smile, not needing to say much else and going back to his resting state. “You know you're not fooling anybody right?” Changkyun laughed as he dropped his body to rest against Hyungwon's chest, completely ignoring the loud 'oof' sound coming from his disturbed body.

“Okay serious talk now,” Faith started as the girls were huddled around into the same area, “how long will it take for Hyungwon to stop being in such denial?”

“What do you mean?--” came the worried voice of the newly awaken Lexi.

“He's crazy about you! Why is he saying things like he's not?” The girls soon stopped looking into the areas their head were previously looking into to turn their attention to the top in question.

“Faith's got a point...”

“He says it's not important to him, or it's no big deal but... did you see how sweet he was last month?”

“What was so sweet about last month?”

“He surprised her with a bouquet of roses at her house because she said she felt like quitting her job, and he spent the night and did nothing but cuddle her, WITHOUT trying to make a move for !”

“He actually did that?! Hyungwon of all people?!”

“Do you have any idea how huge that is? That man would usually be so handsy with girls he fooled around with.”

“Why am I not surprised your knew that, Kyoung-Mi?”

“Easy, because you know me, Faith.” All of the laughs and words from her friends started to drain together as Lexi cupped her cheeks, looking down with blush coming to her face.

“I... I don't think it's too bad. I mean – look at Changkyun and Erny! We're both in the same place!”

“Has he told you he loves you yet?” Lexi bit her lips together as she muttered softly.

“Well he's told me in his actions...”

“Then you're probably in the same place as us,” Erny said with a comforting pat against Lexi's shoulder. “They love us very much, they just have different ways of showing it. Changkyun likes to whisper he loves me every chance he gets, as long as it's quiet and intimate enough so only we hear it. I think Hyungwon just likes to show in actions despite his words being cruel sometimes.”

“His words aren't cruel,” Lexi said with her lips curling into an awkward side smile, causing the other girls to laugh.

“His words are.. him,” Haeun couldn't help but chime in with a small giggle, “it's his charm how he can make you feel loved even if under the covers with you. I bet he's a real cuddle bug!”

“I think you might be mistaking him for Minhyuk, Haeun” Larmie said with a small nudge onto the girl's shoulder. “You love all those innocent things with Minhyuk, including his 'rubber .'” Haeun's eyes widened with a dramatic gasp, slapping weakly at Larmie's arm.

“Why are you bringing that up?! It was one time!”

“Rubber ?”

“Yeah! Check it out,” Larmie laughed playfully and pulled out her phone to unlock the screen and skim through the messages exchanged between them. “She claimed she had a typo,” she started before turning her phone to show the other girls that had gathered around her, one of her hands pushing Haeun's weak hands away so everybody could read clearly, “but we know that's exactly what she meant!” The girls all roared in their “ooh's” and “ahh's” while playfully teasing the blushing Haeun. Haeun was about to open up to attempt in defending her case, when she was saved by the cry of another girl that remembered what they were supposed to be doing in the kitchen to begin with.

“Here it is!” Kyoung-Mi shouted as she held up the wine bottle opener in her hand, pushing it into the air with a proud grin across her lips, her hip bumping to the side to close the drawer she found the said tool in. “Found it! Now let's get that baby open,” she started again as she brought her hand down to toy a little with the tool. “Even if I'm not gonna be drinking tonight.”

“Why aren't you drinking tonight?” Haeun asked with her head tipped to the side with her question. “You're usually the one that says a party isn't a party without you drunk... which took one drink.”

“You're not that much of a light weight, what's going on?” Faith added in as she took the opener away from her hands and started to work on the bottle to try and open the wine.

“Are you a designated driver?” Adda asked while holding the wine bottle in place so Faith could work comfortably with. Soon they started to notice how their friend got quiet; it was suspicious since usually she'd be the one to continuously chime in between their words and cut them off to prove the wrong. She was quiet... what was going on?

“Kyoung?” Erny asked with her eyes narrowing with a hint of worry in her voice.

“I'm not the designated driver; it's Wonho's car and you know he wont let me drive that,” she muttered with a small laugh in attempt to lighten up the air.

“There's something you're not telling us,” Larmie joined in, folding her arms. “Kihyun and Wonho are best friends and wouldn't keep something like their care from you. We both know Wonho wouldn't mind letting you take responsibility like that.”

“Not only that but even Hyungwon drives his car...” Lexi added in with her eyebrows furrowed, completely unconvinced in the obvious lie being told.

“Where's the poop, Kyoung-Mi?” Faith asked with an annoyed groan, flicking her head to the side.

Kyoung-Mi pursed her lips together and brought her hands up to motion with her words, trying to linger in hopes of stringing along their curiosity. “You know, I'm not drinking tonight because... I can't drink. It's like.. you guys might have to slip around and drink the wine for me when nobody's looking,” she said before biting onto her lip to hide the smile. She knew her best friend Faith would get her reference.

“Oh god...” Faith started with her jaw dropping and her hand coming up to cover .

“Hush!” Kyoung-Mi shouted, holding a finger up to cover Faith's lips. “Not another word!”

“Girl you don't have to tell me twice!” Faith cheered as she popped the wine bottle open finally. The girls were about to start unleashing the questions when Kihyun's voice interrupted them by peeking his head inside the kitchen.

“Hey you wont mind if I gather the kids together, right? I think with a small song, I can get them to stop running and Jooheon to stop chasing after them,” he chuckled with his soft smile, turning his head to watch as Jooheon let out a small cry when bumping his knee against the coffee table.

“Please do; dinner is gonna be done soon,” Adda said while her hands reached over to check on the food, turning some of the burners on the stove off.

“Yeah and make sure Jooheon stops running; I wouldn't want those honey thighs disappearing,” Faith said with a small chuckle, biting her lip and watching how Jooheon would wiggle while trying to run and dive for his snapback that Shownu's son still proudly wore.

“You got it,” Kihyun said with a small wink, blowing an air kiss to Larmie before diving into the living room.

“Meanwhile,” Haeun started as Erny wrapped an arm around Kyoung-Mi to keep her from leaving the kitchen just yet, “We're not done yet. Spill, Missy.”

“Let's just say... when the news drops, you better have your cameras ready for Wonho's reaction.”

“Okay kids, gather around!” Kihyun said in a cheerful voice, clapping his hands and catching their attention. “I wanna sing to you, will you let me?” he asked them with a soft smile, his hands resting on his knees as he saw the children nod in their different ways and plopping down onto the floor in front of their uncle.

“Is it concert time Uncle Kihyun?”

“Are you gonna sing the song you sang at your concert?”

“Are you gonna sing a rock song?!” Shownu's son gasped with his hands cupping his cheeks. Jooheon plopped down beside the kids, taking his hat back from the small boy and quickly shoving it back to place on his own head. The small boy looked over at Jooheon and poked at his dimple that flashed once he smiled in content at having his favorite accessory back.

“A rock song? Hmmm,” Kihyun hummed in thought before shaking his head a little, crinkling his nose at the children, “I'd love to but how about another time? I wanna sing a happy song for you okay?” The kids let out a mixture of “aw”s as well as noises of agreement, still excited to still hear the song.

Kihyun cleared his throat and closed his eyes to take in a deep breath before singing in his sweet sounding voice and swaying his body a little with the tune of the lyrics. His lips moved along with the melody in his head, singing the familiar words to their song “Amen,” as his eyes flashed over at Larmie, giving her a small wink. He did always say it'd be the song he wanted to dedicate to his girlfriend, and he'd use any chance he could to let her know she was that one. Larmie couldn't help but place her hand over her heart before blowing a small air kiss at the vocalist, chuckling at how he looked down for a moment with the faint paint of blush across his cheeks.

Soon the kids started to clap their hands in a small tune with the song, getting the other members to do the same. It wasn't long until the song ended and the room clapped as Kihyun took a small bow. The small children couldn't help but start reaching their hands out like Kihyun's biggest fan, cheering and the girls squealing as Kihyun's hand reached down to give a small high five to them.

“Whatever! I'm still a good Appa figure! I can do aegyo and teach the kids!” Jooheon said as he fixed the snapback on his head and shooting to his feet. The shout had the adults snickering and the girls from the kitchen soon trailing out to watch.

“Aegyo? They're children; I think they're gonna be cute without your help,” Kihyun laughed a bit as he stood up straight beside Jooheon.

“If this is a competition between Jooheon and them I think the kids are definitely gonna win,” Hyungwon chimed in as he folded his legs inside his spot on the couch, placing the pillow in his lap as he started to fully wake up at the commotion going on.

“Well let's test it,” Kyoung-Mi cheered as she walked deeper into the living room to rest her weight against the back of the couch. “Gwiyomi, you two,” she demanded with her -eating grin waving a finger between Kihyun and Jooheon, “let's see who can get the kids to join in with them and we'll have a vote.”

“What do I get when I win?”

“You mean what happens when you lose?”

“Yah,” Jooheon's eyes widened slightly, tipping his chin up as to stand taller and intimidate the other male, “I'm the aegyo master; you know I'm gonna win.”

“Okay children, let's not forget who the real kids are,” Kyoung-Mi interrupted as Faith chuckled beside her, shaking her head at how quickly the mood changed, “let's not forget our ages right now.”

“I'll go first!” Jooheon said before pursing his lips into a heart shape, his voice going up in pitch inside his baby voice as he sang the broken lyrics to the gwiyomi song. His fingers fanned out by his cresent eyes and there were soft squeals from the room as Faith cupped a hand over her lips to try and hide the smile that refused to leave her face. The two twin daughters bobbed their head and tried their best to imitate Jooheon's hand motions as the oldest of the children clapped his hands with the song, singing more clearly to the lyrics than Jooheon himself.

Jooheon ended with a cute pose before walking off to the side as if leaving the stage, his hand on his hip while the other swayed by his side. The other males in the room couldn't help but laugh with their heads thrown back at how quickly he changed and how smug the “Aegyo King” was.

“Okay okay, that was cute,” Kyoung-Mi stopped for a moment to let out the small snort and string of chuckles that followed. “Okay now let's get our Uncle Kihyunnie~” It didn't take much for Kihyun to chuck his eyebrows up at Jooheon with his smug face, tipping his chin up and his chest opening slightly as to mock at how Jooheon once was. Jooheon however was not having it and ended up doing the same thing, slapping at his chest and walking up against Kihyun to bump his chest against his.

“Yah yah yah,” Shownu warned reaching one of his hands up in between the two of them, “No need for that; move on and let it go,” he explained as the two boys soon stepped down and focused on finishing the battle. Kihyun started to sing his own rearranged version of the gwiyomi player, swaying slightly side to side and singing in a tune where the children would join in cheering “Kihyunnie” with a cute play on words.

Seeing just how much the kids were going crazy for his band member his face turned to an offended look with his arms folding across his chest, one of his hands quickly fixing his snap back. “Whatever I'm still cooler,” he would mutter softly to himself to try and cheer himself up from the obvious blow to his aeygo confidence.

“I think Kihyunnie won.” Larmie said with a smile as she watched the two daughters running up to her boyfriend, jumping up to try and climb into his arms. They chanted the cute “Kihyunnie” while their older brother made cute v-shapes with his fingers to go with the song, already learning the cute charm his uncle just showed them.

“I knew he was cuter than Jooheon,” Hyungwon said with a small smirk as he watched Jooheon plop down onto the floor, his face completely devastated. “Yah, cheer up; the kids are still crazy about you,” Hyungwon groaned before throwing the couch pillow at the sulking rapper.

“One more time! One more time!” the kids started to cheer, getting others around them to join. Jooheon rolled over with the pillow clung to his chest as he walked off to “stage” to sulk next to Faith, resting against her shoulder with an exaggerated sigh. The girl only smiled and pecked his forehead, fixing the snapback on his head to help comfort him.

As the cheers started to get louder, eventually an energetic Wonho started jumping, waving his arms up and down with the small chants before smirking to himself an idea that only one other person would understand. “Okay!” Wonho cheered before quickly lifting up his shirt to flash his chiseled abs for a second, the next slip second throwing his shirt down.

“Yah!” Minhyuk right away scolded while throwing his body in the line of sight to run interference and attempt to hide the action from the children that were still climbing onto Kihyun. Everybody else echoed the shout and started waving their hands.

“What are you doing?” Shownu questioned with his eyes widening in complete shock.

Then the next second, Wonho was whimpering with small cries of pain as he was being dragged away by his ear. “The hell do you think you're doing Wonho?! There are children watching and you know they don't need to see that !” Kyoung-Mi shouted with a hiss at her forever-attention-seeking boyfriend.

“The kids aren't gonna--” Minhyuk started before turning his attention to see that Shownu's son was playing with his shirt, wiggling the fabric up and down to create a wave effect on his body. It was almost like he was trying to flash his cute belly in attempt to be like his uncle... even if he wasn't doing it right. “he's trying to do it.” Minhyuk weakly called out, knowing that Kyoung-Mi's angered sense would catch his words.

“See?! Look what you did, !” was all that could be heard echoing from the secluded hallway that Kyoung-Mi had dragged Wonho to. Nobody could hold it in any more and soon had let go of their laughter, finding the entire situation hilarious. If anybody were to create such a ruckus, they sure could count on Wonho doing something for his girlfriend to yell at him for; it was one of the things that always made their get together moments fun, knowing that the two of them could bicker and still be loving and affectionate the next moment. It was almost like she kept him in line whenever he did something frustrating.

-

“What the flying was that about?!” Kyoung-Mi hissed as she finally found them a spot far enough away from the rest of the house, knowing that how pissed off she was could easily turn this into a loud fight. “Why the hell would you do that – in what world, for what reason, did you think that was a smart move? You do know that we're trying to entertain and help the children grow right? Nobody needs your stripping to play factor,” she groaned as she folded her arms, bringing one of her hands up to press her fingers to the center of her forehead. She really hated how Wonho seemed to market himself on his body, because off screen and away from the public eye, she knew that wasn't who Wonho was.

“Jagiya,” Wonho started, dipping his head downward to try and peek up at his girlfriend with his soft smile across his lips. She opened her eyes and noticed the cute smile, immediately knowing what it meant; he was about to become his smooth talking, loving self and she knew he was gonna win her over... “You know why I did that? How else would I get you to pay attention to me?”

Kyoung-Mi's eyes widened as she tried to move her lips in the start of words, trying to get Wonho to continue whatever he was trying to say. “You've been extra cold to me tonight... and all I wanted to do was just spend some time with you,” Wonho muttered with his lips curling up slightly on one side, flashing that cute half smile that mirrored your usual smile. “I knew that even if I got you mad at me, you would pull me away and I would be able to have you to myself... with just us,” the blond male took her soft hands into his, his roughened fingertips massaging the palm of her hands. “So now I can have you to myself, hold you close and not worry about any other interruptions. Plus I get to hear you scold me, and you know that it warms my heart since it reminds me you really care.” Kyoung-Mi let out a small scoff as she scrunched her face up.

“You're a strange one, you know that?” she muttered as she tried to pull her hands away from her loving boyfriend. Wonho had other plans, keeping a tight hold on her hands and pulling her close to his body. His arms wrapped around her short frame as she tried to turn around to leave, pulling her to chest strong chest so her body was trapped with her back against his chest. Wonho nuzzled into the top of her head, whispering with his teasing voice she always loved hearing.

“I know I'm strange, but you know we both love it,” he stopped for a moment and brushed his lips against her ear, smirking as she desperately tried to break away from his hold from the ticklish feeling.

“W-Wonho, I swear to god, you better stop,” she muttered with a hiss following her threat, shivers running down her spine and her head twitching trying to get away.

“Why would I do that?” Wonho chuckled with a sing-songy lift in his words as his arms pinned the small wiggling girl in place, continuing to whisper random nothings into her ear until she couldn't hold it in any longer. The small girl found herself melting in his arms, going limp as she threw her head back with a string of continuous chuckles and giggles escaping her lips. He had won this time, as she couldn't handle the tickles for too long.

“Y-yah! You won now stop!” Kyoung-Mi shouted faintly while trying to catch her breath in between each laugh. Wonho had stopped his tickling and simple held the woman in his arms, soothingly rubbing circles against her arm, making sure to not be too light with the touch as she was ticklish on her arms too. She let out a small sigh before looking down with her head practically hiding inside his chest that she always found comfort in. “You know... I sometimes wonder why you put up with me for so long...” she trailed off in a whisper, almost as if she was just thinking out loud.

Wonho's eyebrows raised slightly with a small hum from his lips as he looked down at the curly haired brunet in his arms. “Kyoung-Mi,” he started with a small voice, brushing the back of his fingers against her cheek and hooking under her chin to lift her gaze to meet his. “You do know the answer to that right? It's as simple as can be. I love you.” He let out a soft chuckle before scrunching his nose a little with a small wink, leaning to rest his forehead against hers, his fingers sliding down to fan out, gently touching along her jawline. “I love you. There's nobody else I could see myself with, keeping me grounded and giving me a reason to keep being the happy person I want to be... you're like my rock, supporting me every step of the way, my goal that I keep fighting for when I find myself down. You know, just like you said I do for you.” Kyoung-Mi blinked one before her eyes fluttered open and upward to catch a glimpse of the dim sparkle from her lover's eyes.

He always had a way with words...” she thought to herself before letting out the smallest sigh, closing her eyes in a slow blink. When her eyes opened she saw how Wonho had his gummy smile on his face, the shine in his eyes reflecting back in her own as she mirrored his grin. Finally, she let her guard down and brought her arms to wrap around his broad shoulders and nuzzled her nose side to side against his. Wonho's deep chuckle escaped his lips as he brought his hands to the sides of her face, giving a small squish to her cheeks.

“Besides, who else would keep me in line all the time?” With the last words from his lips, Kyoung-Mi pulled at his neck, shutting up and muffling those addictive laughs in a tender kiss. Their lips moved firmly against each other as the argument that brought them there soon disappeared from their minds.

“I love you,” she whispered softly against his lips, eyes closed as she already could tell the male had smiled back at her.

“I love you too.” Wonho sealed his words with a kiss and rested back against the wall behind him, holding and cuddling to his beloved girlfriend. The moment was warming, melting away whatever worries that had gone through Kyoung-Mi's head. Part of her had worried about not being the right girlfriend for him... especially when she would do nothing but yell at him the entire time. Then at moments like these, she remembers, this is Wonho, the man she fell in love with. He's the one.

Yep. It's now. He's the one.” The girl thought to herself, peeking up and stealing a quick peck from Wonho's cheek. “I love you, my loser.”
“I love you too, my dork.” Kyoung-Mi scrunched her nose up with her lips pressed together, her hands going up to Wonho's body, tickling him and using the wall to pin him into place as he thrashed around with his screams. Oh sweet revenge.

-

“How much do you wanna bet they're banging in the guest room?” The voice was entirely too loud inside the quieting room.

“Jooheon, nobody is wondering that except for you!” Shownu muttered a little as his daughters squished at his cheeks, trying to get him to do aegyo for them for the ninth time that night. Shownu just kept the same straight face, pursing his lips slightly into a fish mouth with every squish of her hands.

“Well not just Jooheon,” Faith chimed in, taking a hold of the snapback on Jooheon's head, tugging it forward to playfully cover over his eyes. “Although it's not something to say around the kids.”

“Say what?”

“Appa, is Uncle Jooheon saying something bad?”

“Is he gonna get us in trouble?”

“Don't worry about that, it's nothing like that kids,” Shownu tried to hush while kissing the small girl in his arms, wiping away the tears that had already spilled from her worried eyes.

“Appa wouldn't let that happen kids,” Adda hushed softly picking up her son that had been whining as his attempts at calming his sisters down didn't work.

“Nice going, make the children worry,” Hyungwon muttered as his fingers reached over to the tray of appetizers the party brought out. He took one of the crackers with a slice of cheese and reached it out toward the kids. “It's okay, cheer up while we wait for dinner, okay?” Hyungwon smiled a bit, knowing that food was always a way to help bring smiles.

“And your Appa will do aegyo for you if that doesn't work.” Shownu blinked once turning his attention to Changkyun.

“I will?” Changkyun raised his eyebrows with laugh as the kids once again started to tug lightly at his shirt, asking for aegyo again.

“It does make them feel better, doesn't it?” Both of them knew very well that the children were Shownu’s world and he’d do anything to make them happy... even if it meant making them smile over him making a fool of his awkward aegyo.

“I guess you're right.” Shownu rubbed the back of his neck and took his daughters' hands, giving a small shake. “I'll do it if you sing for me. Let's do it together.”

-

“Jooheon, how much do you wanna bet on them banging in the other room?”

“How much extra would you bet they make a baby out of it?” There was soon a loud smack motion on the side of Jooheon’s arm, making him clench to the area he was hit. It wasn’t wise to best friend when Faith was involved. Even if she loved Jooheon too much to really hurt him.

“Ow! I was kidding!”

“Don't raise the stakes unless you're sure of it,” Faith chuckled while soothingly rubbing at Jooheon's cheek, poking over the dimple. Jooheon and Faith had cowered into the dinning room, pouring some whine into the glasses for the adults to sip at with dinner.

“Well she does seem like the time that would have angry with him a lot; have you seen the way she gets when he's around?” Faith couldn't help the snort, looking away from her date, shaking her head.

“Kyoung-Mi likes angry , but what makes you think she'd go as far as having inside somebody else's house, when there's kids around? She's a teacher you know.”

“Yeah but you and I both know how lousy her self control is, right? There was a moment of silence between them as Faith sat down the vine bottle, swirling the drink inside the glass in her hand.

“Okay you've got a point there,” she laughed a bit before taking a small sip. Jooheon did the same with his own drink before setting the glass down to rest his hand against the table for support as his body moved to rest his free hand around Faith's waist. His thumb brushed against her back soothingly as he stole a quick kiss from her cheek.

“You know her better than I do... but I still think they might be sneaking around.” Jooheon's rubbed up and down against her back as his eyes looked out at the glasses set out on the table. “Wait a minute... how come the glass count is off?”

“I'll tell you what,” Faith started before moving Jooheon's hand away from her waist and pushing it to his chest. “If I'm right and they're not 'banging' in one of the empty rooms, you don't get to tell anybody tonight.”

-

“I love how you show your affection,” Erny chuckled softly.

“How so?” The burnette asked his girlfriend as they rested on the couch. Their hands were intertwined between each other as they looked down at their fingers, wiggling a little.

“You know. It's unique. How you poke fun at things, and say the sharpest things when it's only because things can move more smoothly with the right comedy. It's nice.” She shifted her weight and moved so that she could reach for the glass of wine that was resting on the coffee table, taking a quick sip. “It's sweet. You're sweet.”

Changkyun smiled and took the wine away from the girl, stealing a sip for himself as his eyes locked with hers for every movement. “Right. Sweet. Although you know I'm not always so nice,” he teased and playfully pecked her jaw, lingering between her neck and her ear. “Only you get to see how I really am,” he muttered before playfully biting onto her earlobe and pulling away to smile as I nothing had happened between the two.

Erny did her best to hold in whatever whines and whimpers that would have escaped her lips before tucking her hair behind her ear and taking the wine back from the younger. “You know, I'm starting to think you're setting a good example for Hyungwon.” Changkyun raised an eyebrow in a silent question before she motioned her head over toward the other couple, completely lost in their own world. He sneakily turned his head over with a playful grin and leaned over to his side. The two of them sipped at their wine and watched the other two on how well they were developing.

“So... what are you gonna do after this?” Lexi asked softly while Hyungwon kept playing with her hand, his fingers tracing along the palm and grazing his fingers against hers.

“What do you mean?” Hyungwon raised an eyebrow before his hand slowly intertwined his fingers with hers, giving her hand a small squeeze. “Tonight after dinner, we're going back to your place. We're gonna draw a bath and you're going to soak and relax after the running around and stress with the kids..” Hyungwon lazily rested his head on top of hers as Lexi's body huddled a little closer to listen to his words. “Then I'm gonna put on your favorite movie and massage your shoulders to sleep. What else would I do?”

The girl found herself slowly turning red at the imagination of Hyungwon doing the said things, her head ducking down to nuzzle the top of her head under his chin in hopes of keeping her reddened face hidden. “You know you don't have to do that... you could just... do something small for me.”

Hyungwon couldn't help but smirk playfully as his lips pressed a kiss to her cheek. “That's true.. I could always do what Jooheon thinks Wonho is up to.” Lexi pulled away slightly to look up at him with a 'you could do what' look on her face. “But that implies me taking charge... I think of it as making tonight about you. So I'll stick with that massage and warm bath.” The tall male didn't wait for any response from the girl and sealed his words with a kiss. They were so lost with each other, the snickering and lip biting couple watching them went unnoticed.

-

“C'mon let's get everybody together for wine before we eat dinner,” Minhyuk practically cheered while passing a wine glass to everybody around him. Kihyun, Larmie, and Haeun all smiled and took the drinks, knowing that with that much enthusiasm, they couldn't possibly turned him down. It was his charm and with the heart eyes Haeun always had, Larmie wouldn't dare pop her bubble. Different story for Kihyun though.

“I think you should focus on how much wine you drink,” he pointed out at Haeun as Minhyuk poured the wine into her glass. She had been so focused on his eyes that she didn't notice how much went into the glass. This was way over her limit.

“Oh! I'm sorry! I shouldn't have given you so much. You don't have to drink all of it,” Minhyuk waved a hand around, setting the wine down and cupping Haeun's hands in his over the wine glass with a small squeeze. “Don't feel pressured; I'll drive home tonight, okay?” He didn't waste another moment before kissing her lips and tugging one of her hands. “Now let's go get Wonho and Kyoung-Mi!”

“Are you sure you want Minhyuk of everybody to get them?!” Jooheon's concerned voice called out, hearing his loud cheers.

“Calm down! If anybody it should be Minhyuk; if anything's happening you'll be the first to know when he screams.” Faith chuckled pulling Jooheon's face back by squishing his cheeks so she could nuzzle her nose against his and steal a kiss from him.

“Yah,” Jooheon muttered before bringing a hand to her cheek, “be careful... they might find out.”

“I don't care, do you?” Faith asked with a small sigh as her hand rested against his chest, drawing a small circle against his chest.

“No,” Jooheon shook his head without needing a second to think. He cupped her cheek and fanned his fingers out toward her hairline. His fingers slid in smoothly and gently guided the girl forward to place a soft kiss to her lips. It was slow, loving, and simple as if he wanted to take his time. He wanted to take his time and savor the moment, soon forgetting about where they were and what he was doing. All that mattered were each other.

Okay okay Minhyuk, we're coming!” They heard from down the hallway, coming toward them. Faith pulled away and smiled at the familiar voice.

“Hold that thought. I gotta make sure to get Kyoung-Mi,” Faith grinned at the cute rapper before grabbing the extra glass of wine off the table and joining the group as they circled around.

“So were they doing it? Were they banging?” Jooheon asked as Wonho and Kyoung-Mi came into sight, standing beside him and Faith. Wonho had still been attached at Kyoung-Mi's hip with his free hand taking the glass of wine from Kihyun.

“For your information, first off –“ Kyoung-Mi started only for Wonho to cut her off.

“It's none of your business,” Wonho's voice trailed with a small lift in his voice, hand with the wine motioning with his words.

“...and second of all,” Kyoung-Mi said again, this time closing her eyes annoyed but knowing of Wonho cutting her off again.

“There was a bang,” Wonho chuckled with a click of his tongue and winked at Jooheon as the males laughed in the room. Jooheon's face got excited, about the cheer with glee when Kyoung-Mi cut off everybody's reaction by elbowing Wonho in his side, causing him to let out a deep 'oof' sound.

“,” she muttered before shaking her head and bringing her hand up to calm Jooheon down. “There was a banging sound, but that was on the wall when I pinned Wonho against it and tickled him. For revenge. Nothing dirty at all, so whatever...” she furrowed her eyebrows for a moment switching her finger back and forth between Jooheon and Faith standing beside her “thing you got dealing with Faith, is over and you lost.”

Faith clapped her hands with a laugh as the girls chuckled. Jooheon's mouth dropped slightly before clinging onto his date. “How did she know about that?” he asked her with a small panicked hiss. Faith only shrugged and told him not to worry about it.

“Okay everybody. Let's have a toast,” Adda said getting everybody's attention and raising her glass. She had her son in her arm as Shownu had to the two daughters, each of the children with a small glass of sparkling apple cider so they wouldn't feel left out.

“To family. To friends. To the times we come together, reminding us of how much we've grown and how much we've gone through. To the future with our family growing with everybody's journey in life.” Shownu smiled a bit and Adda leaned over to give his cheek a quick kiss.

“To the people most important in our lives to be there during every important milestone in our lives.” Everybody cheered and raised their glass before taking a sip from the wine Kihyun brought. Kihyun and Larmie knew better and gave each other a small knowing look. While everybody lifted their glasses and closed their eyes to take a slow sip, they peeked over at Faith and Kyoung-Mi direction in front of them. Unknowing to everybody around them, Faith took a quick sip from her own drink then a larger drink from Kyoung-Mi's glass, switching smoothly so nobody would see.

Kyoung-Mi lifted the slightly emptied glass to her sealed lips, pressing the fluid to them without drinking. Once it was over she smiled over at the completely clueless Wonho that smiled his charming gummy smile at her. He leaned in and stole a quick kiss from her lips, mouthing with what they could only read and assume from their places.

“Tastes good doesn't it?”

“Yeah. It does,” Kyoung-Mi agreed with a small pinch to Wonho's cheek.

“Okay everybody,” Shownu said with a strong groan, lifting up some of the platters of food from the kitchen. “Let's get settled in to eat; Adda worked hard on making it so let's eat well.” Everybody felt their mouths water and their stomachs growl, nodding in agreement then made their way to their seats. Adda and Shownu made sure to carefully place the platters onto the table, within everybody's reach and took a special moment to set up ready made plates for the kids at their own table near theirs.

The children smiled and rubbed their hands together, thanking their Appa and their Omma, complimenting how great it smelled.

“I can't wait to eat!”

“It smells so good!”

“Omma even made the bread sticks fresh!” Jooheon chuckled and watched as the kids started to dig into their plates. He wanted the seat closest to theirs, wanting to be the first person to get them more the moment their lips said so. It would give Shownu a break but also give him a chance to spoil them more.

“Before... we get too settled in.. I think I need to say a small something. Is that okay?” Kyoung-Mi's voice announced, slowly pushing herself up from her seat at the table. All attention was on her. Everybody had a different look, the women excited and knowing, while the men in the room were slightly confused..... then there was Wonho who looked terrified written all over his face.

“Wh-what is it Jagiya?” Wonho muttered with his lips pursing slightly in a pout, his hands grasping tightly onto Kyoung-Mi's.

“I think you need to sit down for this.”

“Nonsense!” Wonho shook his head and shot out of his seat, cupping both of her hands in his, pulling them to his chest. Oh god he's being clingy... this was going to be good. Larmie and Kihyun huddled together slightly, secretly taking out a phone to record as everybody got quiet focusing on what the girl was going to say next.

“Kyoung-Mi, I'm right here, the entire time,” Wonho loudly said, thinking he was whispering. “You know whatever it is, you can tell me right?” He wanted to bring his hand to her cheeks and brush the hair away from her forehead, but his hands didn't dare to let go of hers, afraid she might tear away from him.

“Wonho. You told us pretty early on that you didn't wanna get married...,” Kyoung-Mi started, looking down.

“Wait you're bringing that up? Don't tell me you're gonna leave me bec-”

“Hoseok. Listen to me. Let me talk,” Kyoung-Mi said firmly, her eyes meeting his again, his time with a slightly angered voice, her eyes just slightly starting to get glossy. Wonho bit onto his lip and in a sharp breath, nodding slowly. He mentally prepared himself, knowing it must have been serious since she used his real name.

“You said that you didn't want to get married... but I also remember you saying that you wanted a baby...” Kyoung-Mi looked up at Wonho with the slightest smile.

“And I have one, Jagi, I have you,” Wonho muttered with a confused look on his face.

“No, Wonho, you're getting one.” There was a moment of silence and the people around them felt their jaws drop, not daring to say a word. Faith bit her lips together to hold in a small snicker, watching the wheels turn inside Wonho's head. Minhyuk had the largest smile on his face, clamping his hand over his mouth in hopes to keep himself from his high dolphin scream of excitement.

Wonho's eyebrows furrowed as he twitched his head slightly, as if to lean in, thinking she'd answer him. Nope, he had to find out on his own. Hesitantly his hands let go of hers to rub and pat his cheeks and face, trying to process what she could have meant; it would be hard considering how emotional he gets over her. The blond blinked slowly, his bangs covering his face as he looked down at the ground, slowly moving up to his girlfriend whom had her hands resting over her stomach. She smiled slightly with her lips pressed into a thin line, raising both her eyebrows in a “that's right” expression, waiting for him to say something.

“NO WAY!” Wonho practically screamed and Kihyun couldn't take it any more, throwing his head back with a string of laugher, leaving Larmie to take  the camera from his shaking hands to record. Wonho's mouth hung wide open as he looked back and forth, up and down along her body to her face. His hands waved inside the most awkward expressions until finally throwing his arms out to motion at her belly. “You – I – Me – We're – You're?” The blond shook his head and threw his body out to pick the girl up, lifting her body off the ground into his strong arms, lifting her off the ground.

Kyoung-Mi's eyes widened in shock, freaking out at the sudden act of her body being lifted off the ground. “Y-yah! Wonho – you're not the only person scared of heights you know!” she tried to yell between her nervous laughs, her hand playfully slapping at his arms to put her body down.

“I'M GONNA BE A FATHER!” Wonho cheered and nuzzled into Kyoung-Mi's neck before finally settling down. He ran over to Shownu and clung onto him, shaking his shoulders. “Did you hear that?! Hyung, I'm GONNA BE AN APPA!”

“Does this mean Wonho won our competition?” Hyungwon chuckled while nibbling at the food he had lingered on his plate.

“I think he should be disqualified since Kyoung-Mi pulled him out... otherwise it'd be unfair.”

“I'm gonna be a father – Oh god I'm gonna be a father, Shownu-Hyung, you gotta help me,” Wonho muttered softly with his nervousness obvious. Kyoung-Mi only pulled Wonho away, back to his seat and kissed his cheek.

“Yah, don't worry about that, right now let's just enjoy the food they made for us.” Wonho let out a small sigh before turning to his lover, smiling and feeling at ease. They both started to eat, stalling a moment to feed each other, earning a small playful shove from Kyoung-Mi, or a playful poke on the cheek from Wonho.

“I have an announcement too,” Jooheon said clearing his throat and pulling his snap back backwards. He had his serious face on and everybody looked at him confused. Kihyun had his cheeks full and a piece of a bread stick sticking out of his mouth as he hummed in confusion. The others, thankfully, were okay with stopping eating for a moment.

“Jooheon, what are you doing? You lost the bet,” Faith whisper yelled while tugging at his arm to pull him back down.

“I don't care about some stupid bet!” Jooheon hissed and took Faith's hand away from his arm, slowly placing it down back into her lap. “I can't wait any longer, keeping myself away; I have to tell them and I want everybody to know.” Jooheon nibbled onto his bottom lip and inhaled before continuing with a louder, more confident voice. “Faith and I, are officially dating!”

“WE KNOW!” Everybody yelled at the same time. Jooheon was completely thrown off guard with his jaw dropped and eyes widened, terrified but also puzzled.

“Y-you guys knew?”

“She's my best friend. Of course we already told everything to each other.”

“You what?” Jooheon flicked his eyes back and forth between Kyoung-Mi and Faith.

“I pocket texted her when you asked me to be your girlfriend.”

“It was just plain obvious to the rest of us.”

“It's about time too.”

Finally.”

“Here I thought Wonho was gonna get married before Jooheon ever admitted him and Faith were an item.”

“That or he'd wait until the day of the wedding and drop the bomb on us the same day.”

“I can totally see that! Imagine him showing up in a tux all 'Faith and I are together, and it's our wedding day today. Get on a suit, we're going' and he'd be so proper!”

Jooheon sighed and put his head down, plopping into his seat and sulk eating at his food. Faith pecked his cheek and fixed the hat on his head.

“Don't worry about it,” she started before leaning in to fix the collar of his shirt. “Even if they tease, you're still important to me... master.” Faith whispered airily into Jooheon's ear. The smirk reappeared and Jooheon was once again confident.

“I think this dinner was really eventful...”

“I think we got enough out of this one for the next couple months.” Adda sighed and leaned over into Shownu's body, cuddling under his arm. “Maybe we should cut this short before somebody else drops a big announcement.”

There was nothing but laughter at jokes, and random daily chat about normal things family members would do with each other. Even with all the chaos and stress of having them all together, they were a family, growing closer and growing up. There was nothing else to exchange for in the world.

A/N: thanks for reading! this was mainly for my friends and I inside our Monbebe group chat on kakaotalk but I just loved our ideas too much that I had to make it into a story. This is just a sample chapter for now because I love our relationships we've come up with and I'll have other chapters. Plus! It'll give each of us some fluffy bias feels. For my dear friends I used in this story, I hope it was worth the wait!

and PS: I'm so amazed and proud of myself. 12675 words in like 3 days... most I've ever done xD
