One Day Present

Jeonghan was smiling all along the road as he thought he will see Jisoo after 3 years since his boyfriend starts working in the states. He was glad his mother was currently at the states to help him get a plane ticket as a birthday present to him. It is strange that it is his birthday and he is at the front of his boyfriend's building to surprise him but who cares? Seeing his boyfriend will be enough as a present to him.
As he enters the building, He joyfully went to the information section and asks if Jisoo was free at the moment
"Good Evening. Is Mr. Hong free at this hour?" He formally asked in English which take him 10 minutes to practice at the plane awhile ago
"Oh I'm sorry Maam but he is at a meeting at the moment. Do you have any appointment with him today? I can check his schedule for tonight" The Lady answered back
Jeonghan calculates her words first and after a few minutes, He finally understands. He just smiles at her and said back "It's Sir anyway I came here by surprise. I'm Yoon Jeonghan and I'm Mr. Hong's friend Can I wait for him to finish?"
"Oh I'm sorry. If it is okay for you to wait on the lounge" Jisoo's secretary responses
He just nods and sits on the couch. He sighs heavily as he escapes the English conversation. He feels a little bit awkward introducing himself as Jisoo's friend. Well, They are friends before they take their friendship to the next level so it will not be an issue.
He can't stop smiling as he imagines seeing Jisoo's surprised face seeing him without his notice. He can't wait to hug him tightly and tell how much he missed him already. They haven't been in touch for a year that made him worry. He just understands the pressure his boyfriend has with his new born company with his shoulder.
After an hour, He stands up and went to the lady to ask again "is the meeting finished?"
"I'm sorry Mr. Yoon but Mr. Hong attended another meeting after" Jeonghan raises his eyebrow
"You did not tell me awhile ago that he had another schedule after that" He half-annoyed said
"It was not in the schedule. It is an emergency meeting. I'm sorry" He just sighs as he has nothing to do with that. He just go back to his previous position while holding up both his shoulders as he was kind of cold since he does not know that U.S is pretty cold and did not dare to bring any jacket with him.
After another two hours, He stands up again and went to her "So?"
"He is still at the meeting"
"What?! for 2 hours?! seriously?!" He said irritatingly while his voice is trembling because of coldness
"It's an emergency" Jeonghan just cursed in his head and came back to the couch.
While waiting for like forever, His eyes are slowly closing and not a minute after, He fell asleep.
Just then, He wakes up quickly and notices the clock. It was already 10:23 pm. He stands up and immediately went to the secretary "I'm sorry I fell asleep. Is he free now?"
"Yes but he said he do not want to be disturb at the moment"
"WHAT? did you not tell him I'm here?!" Finally, he bursts into anger as he was freezing to death and his birthday was about to finish yet he can't even see Jisoo's shadow at all
"Yes but he says firmly that no one will disturb him"
"That's it! I'm going in!"
Jeonghan walks straight to Jisoo's office and not bothering the lady stopping him on the hallway. He reached Jisoo's door and when he opens it, A tear suddenly escapes into his eyes.
His heart is beating faster and faster
"Jisoo..." He said softly as tears are making him harder to speak to the man in front of him kissing someone's lips and not his
Jisoo was shocked seeing his boyfriend in front of the door while a girl is on his lap and wraps her arms around his nape "J-Jeonghan, What are you doing here?"
"Who is she?" An American girl said while sticking at Jisoo even closer
Jeonghan cannot handle it anymore "I just came here to see you..." He slams the door very hard and runs at the hallway
He runs and runs and does not bother if someone is calling him behind. He knows it is Jisoo. Every steps he takes his heart skips a heavy beat that makes it harder for him to breathe. Just then, he collapses on the ground as his feet cannot take it anymore
He is crying like a pathetic person on the floor. He wanted to stop. But why can't he? Tears are spreading at the floor. He looks like a mess. The last time he thought he will look beautiful standing to the man he missed so much but turns out to be so much messed seeing his man cheated at him with his two eyes open to witness it on his own.
Just then, He felt someone lifts him off the ground and faces him. He cannot control it anymore as he slaps right away the person who did that
"HOW COULD YOU DO THAT?! IS THAT THE REASON WHY YOU ARE NOT CALLING ME ANYMORE?! MAKING A REASON THAT YOU ARE BUSY AND YOU DON'T HAVE ANY TIME FOR ME TO SAY HOW MUCH I MISSED YOU! HOW MUCH IM MISSING YOUR TOUCH! HOW MUCH I WANTED TO TELL YOU HOW MUCH I STILL LOVE YOU! IS THAT IT?! HUH?!" He shouts at him and let out his heart's sorrow but it made him more in pain seeing him looking at him and not saying anything
"SAY SOMETHING JISOO! DON'T KILL ME LIKE THIS!" Jeonghan begs while gripping at his boyfriend's collar tighter waiting for him to open up his mouth
"Jeonghan please... don't make a scene" His jaw left hanging hearing those words from his partner
Jeonghan let go from his grip and calms down while wiping the tears all over his face but he knows it is no use since his tears are falling non stop from his eyes "Tell me what's going on please... I can't... I don't understand"
"Jeonghan... we're done"
He closes his eyes in pain while wrapping his arms around him "why?"
Jisoo remains silence. That silence is killing him a thousand times in just a blink of an eye "Jisoo why?"

"Jisoo why?!"
"I don't... I don't love you anymore" Jeonghan looks at him and cannot believe his words
"That's it?! You don't love me anymore?! Why?! Ah~" He sarcastically laughs
"Because I'm a boy and She's a girl. I cannot give you what she can give. Okay. I get it. Thank you for reminding that. Sorry for the trouble I cause." He tries to smile and ended up crying even more while turning his back and was about to walk away when Jisoo holds his arms to stop him
"Wai-"
He slaps him again even harder
"You could have said that to me the day you confessed to me and decided to risk our friendship. The day you told me how much you love me that I'm enough to make you happy. How I wish I see this coming. People change. Thank you for proving that. Thank you for letting me see how fool I was to trust you, how stupid I am for still waiting for you where you don't have the plans to came back to me, Thank you... Thank you for giving me a wonderful gift for my birthday today ... though this is not what I'm expecting. But thank you. You really got me there haha~ You really got me into your lies. You should be laughing for making me fall for you. Congratulations~ what's your prize for fooling me?"
Jisoo cannot help but let a tear escapes into his eyes
"Oh~ Don't act! There's no camera around. Our families are not around. So stop acting like you care. Shows over. Go back to her. I don't have everything to make you happy. She can give you all."
"Happy birthday to me. I appreciate the present"
Jeonghan takes a lot of courage to step on the elevator and to quickly close it as Jisoo was trying to follow him.
His body collapses as he breaks down into tears once again. He walks into the streets while tears are falling from the ground and does not bother people looking at him.
He stops at a river side and bursts it all there. He wanted to stop. really. He feels drained crying all the tears he had but looks like not enough as his heart is still crying in deep sorrow.
"For 10 years, He said he doesn't love me anymore. How pathetic I'm hurt. How pathetic I'm hurt because I love you. How can you do this to me? please tell me this is a nightmare. I want to wake up. Just kill me now please... ARGH!"

"What's all that noise?" A grumpy man said while moving his body from left and right
Jeonghan still cries even more and does not bother everything around him
The grumpy man lays halfway and widens up his eyes as he sees a person crying above his head
"I can't take this anymore" Jeonghan said to himself
"Can't take what?" Jeonghan literally jumps hearing someone speaks and he cannot see him
"W-who's that?!"
The man jumps in front of him that made Jeonghan screams frightening as he covers his face both of his hands
"oh woah woah calm down" The man holds the pretty boy's shoulder that made the latter screams even more
"yah! you're screaming way too much! I'm a person and not a ghost. No doubt it's you who disturbs my sleep below" Jeonghan slowly moves his hands away from his eyes to see the person talking
"Yah! Who said to jump right in front of my face- wait y-you're korean?" He half-whispered asked
"obviously wait- you too?"
"yeah" He plainly answered back while wiping his tears on his face
Just when the other man touches his shoulder for comfort, Jeonghan screams again loudly
"Why do you keep on shouting? I'm not a bad guy that will capture you and throw you on a river young lady, geez. You can tell it by my face how good I am already"
"Then why are you holding me?!" Jeonghan answered back
"Because I want to comfort you?"
"I don't need one"
The man raises his eyebrow "If you don't need one then you will not cry like a little girl around the streets"
"You don't know what I'm going through right now" Jeonghan seriously said
"Well I have ears to lend" The man offers
"How can I trust you where in fact I don't even know you?" Jeonghan sarcastically said back
