SEUNGYOON POV

Walking into the grand room, Seungyoon could feel the fake aura surrounding him. Women dressed in their lavish ball gowns and men in their designer suits, the atmosphere seemed lively. But Seungyoon knew that this was part of their facade, mingle with one another but stab each other at the back once faced from each other. Feeling a hand grabbing his shoulder, Seungyoon flinched. He turned around to see pair beady shaped dark eyes staring at him with irritation, his father Mr Kim

“Ahh here is my son, the future heir of the Kim Industry” boasted Mr Kim.

Seungyoon could only strain his lips into a smile. The fake enthusiasm that his father was portraying fuelled his hatred even further. His relationship between him and his father was not always like this. Standing beside his father were two men, fathers sectary Jinwoo and a man that seemed familiar. The gut feeling that something bad is going to happen made his stomach twist uncomfortably.

“This is Mr Park, one of our most influential stake holder”

The way his father introduced this man made Seungyoon shift, he knew the uncomfortable gut feeling was right.

“Mr Park and I here signed an agreement that he invests into our company and you marry his daughter”

Starring at his father in disbelief, he heard Mr Park call over a name Seungyoon couldn’t quite catch due the state of shock he was in. Blinking rapidly, the shock turned into disgust. In his eyesight, a woman with big eyes, dark red lips and luscious auburn hair twisted in curls, wearing a dark crimson dress walked seductively towards him. She was attractive, and anyone could see that, but Seungyoon could not imagine himself with her. Before she could introduce herself, Seungyoon stormed off before his dad could protest.

His body burning with hatred and anger, Seungyoon walked to the only place where he found comfort, his mother’s grave.
