Nayeon took a deep breath and started singing as she pressed the keys on the piano.

"Daisy~ always climbing up the same tree;

Finding love in wrong scenes~

Daisy~ you got me~"

There was never a day where Jeongyeon’s life would be problem-free. When she was born, her biological Mother died due to birth complications. Because of that, her Mother's side of the family resented her.

Her Father was okay until his first Wife died during childbirth. It was devastating; the love of his life just slipping away like that. This he turned to drinking and that drinking caused abuse.

She thought that when her Father remarried a new woman, everything would be peaceful but that didn't happen. Her step Mother was a gambler and too an alcoholic. When both of her parents were drunk, they would always fight and she would get beaten because she was the 'unlucky child'.

However, her sisters were more understanding. They took care of her whenever they were at home and not earning a living for their broken family. But tragedy struck when Jeongyeon's second Sister committed suicide. And who was blamed again? That's right, Jeongyeon.

Her older Sister ran away to the comforts of her boyfriend's family home and both offered to take Jeongyeon in. But to their dismay, the girl wanted to stay to 'take care of the family' and also believing that she was a jinx, she didn't want to ruin her sister's happiness.

"Daisy~ Always walking down the wrong streets;

Starting fires out of dead weeds~

Daisy~ you got me~"

Jeongyeon was just talking to the school teams cheerleader, Hirai Momo. They had been friends since Jeongyeon entered the Basketball team. Before she left, she gave the taller girl a floppy kiss.

Momo was known to be a touchy flirt so it wasn't a surprise to the latter. Jeongyeon rolled her eyes and didn't realize the punch that came afterwards. Jeongyeon wiped the blood away from her busted lip and looked at the attacker.

MI: What do you think you are doing to my Girlfriend?

MM: Mi-Mina! It's not her fault!

MI: Stay away. I'll deal with you later.

Mina talked towards the older girl and attempted to kick her but Jeongyeon got up quickly and kicked her in the gut.

Mina regained her balance quickly and socked Jeongyeon on the left eye. Jeongyeon stumbled a little before taking Mina by the collar and kneeing her again and again and again.

MM: Ya! Please stop it you two!!!

She was sent to the office when the president of the council saw them that day. Her parents were called and not only did she get a scolding from the principal but she also got beaten at home. Crossing three people in a day was just too normal for Jeongyeon.

"Let me, show you how a kiss would taste;

Trust me, I won't give your heart away;

Why are you running, running;

When you got it right here;

Oh I would love you if you let me~"

Jeongyeon met Nayeon while she was getting beat up by some gangsters at a secluded corner of the school. Her Mother had owed debts again and Jeongyeon was the one tanking the punishments.

She was bruised and battered, even suffering from a fractured wrist that put her out of basket balling for a long while. She leaned on the wall for support and maintained the emotionless face, occasionally furrowing her brows to stay conscious as the men confronted her.

Just then, the sound of a camera and a flash went off. The gangsters snapped their head in the direction while Jeongyeon turned her head slowly.

NY: let her go! If not I will take this to the police.

The gangsters gritted their teeth and looked at each other for answers as they broke into cold sweat. They gave verbal threats to Nayeon before bolting away.

Jeongyeon woke up to the sight of an unfamiliar place. She tried to sit up but not only her wrist but also her waist was painful as well. The last thing Jeongyeon remembered was passing out while the gangsters ran away.

NY: O-Don't get up! You are hurt!

JY: W-where am I...?

NY: My place, here take these; painkillers

“Daisy~ always dancing to the same beat;

Broken record stuck on repeat;
