After a long day of packing and laughing at my old notes about my crushes – yes, I had a few, mostly singers and actors if you’re curious – and throwing them all away afterwards, I was finally finished by the midnight.

I was excited to move to our new apartment and neighborhood since I’ve never been there and seen the apartment before. I just knew that I’d finally have my own room, a whole room just for myself!

With all the thoughts and excitement I had running through my mind, I drifted to sleep while laying flat on my back on the hard floor, not knowing what’s awaiting me the next day.

The next morning, I was awakened by the sounds of the furniture being moved. I sat up to find myself on the couch. *Dad must’ve put me here.* I got up and was met by some men taking the furniture and boxes to the truck parked in front of the house.

Oh, and I made you a sandwich which is on the kitchen counter with a bottle of juice. Take them to eat on our way.” Then she left to put Amber in our car.

I hurriedly moved towards the bathroom to wash my face, then took my sling bag and breakfast and went to sit in our car beside my fast asleep little sister.
