Day III: Flaming
The Sun KingYunho doesn't wait for him the next day. Instead, there is only a note with a crudely drawn map.
"Hide and seek, Shim Changmin," Yunho's flowing handwriting informs. "I am not the best artist, but the castle staff are here to help. They know where I am, but you may only ask one question to each. I am not so easy to beat, Shim Changmin."
Changmin reads the note twice and looks over the map. "Goddamn, this is bad," he mutters with a grin. "You're on, Yunho."
He spends the entire morning walking the castle, adding in as many details as he possibly can, refining the map.
The castle is actually not very big, considering the wealth of the country. Nonetheless, it is still five sprawling floors, complete with many staircases and countless rooms. Changmin runs through all the hallways he can find and notes them all down.
Once he is satisfied with the map, he goes off to find the castle staff.
Junsu, the butler, knows that Yunho is not where they eat.
Yoochun, the chef, knows that Yunho is on the third floor.
Jungsoo, Yunho's personal attendant, knows that Yunho is somewhere near a stairwell.
Boa, the head maid, only knows that Yunho is "somewhere to be expected."
Hankyung, the foreign minister to Xiang, says that Yunho is "close to you." Changmin rolls his eyes at this.
Jongwoon, the music director, says that Yunho is in a magical place. Changmin wonders if it might have to do with the magic user who disappeared years ago.
Youngwoon, the leader of the Knights, says that Yunho is in a place that is always cold. Changmin begins to suspect that Yunho knows of his power, and if so, the answer then is obvious.
Donghee, the groundskeeper, says that Yunho is in the most obvious place, and Changmin spins around, not needing to ask anyone else.
He bursts into the room that Yunho settled him into, only to find everything cold and empty.
Oooooh things are getting interesting; how about it? I'm looking to update next week too
