Chapter One

Zico sat up in a fright gasping for air. He looked around in a panic. How did he get back home? He pulled his knees to his chest. At that moment his mother walked in. "Oh good. You're finally up. You was taking your sweet time to come back." She said sitting down in his desk chair. "I was getting worried because it was my first time doing that." He stared at her in disbelief. "You... You broke my neck?" His mother could hear the shock and anger mixing together. She looked at him and a sigh slipped through her lips. "It was the only thing I could do. You were too out of control Zico. Your emotions was heighten and you were out of it. It was the only thing I could to stop you. I had to do it or you were going to attack me next." His eyes widen at what she said. " I tried to attack you? I'm so sorry mom. It was like I wasn't even there. Like someone had taken over my body and was controlling me. I felt cold. I felt dead. Feeling as if I was falling into darkness and I lost my conscience. I didn't want to hurt you." She stood up and sat next to him. "It's alright Zi Zi. I know you would never hurt me.I know you wasn't in your right state of mind. Anyone would act like that if their friend went flying off a building."  Flashbacks of Taeil pushing him away and falling off the building smiling came rushing back. Why did he smile when he was falling to his death? Covering his mouth he looked down. "It really happened. He's...he's really gone..." He whispered with his voice falling apart. He was shaking uncontrollably. His mother was shocked at what was happening. She haven't seen this happen since he was a little boy. "Zi Zi, please. Please don't cry. I'm right here."
"I'm not crying." He said a little too loudly. "Why are you denying it?" She asked trying to look in his eyes. "Because I don't cry!" He looked at her as he yelled. As soon as he said that he felt something wet hit the back of his hand.  He quickly brought his hand to his face and looked at it. Seeing that his fingers were wet he covered he face with both hands. Out of nowhere he got up and started screaming. He started throwing things against the wall and knocking stuff off his desk. He was ready to punch the wall like it was nobody business when his mom was suddenly in front of him stopping his hand. She stared at him as she gripped his fist. Yelling he squatted down pulling at his hair. Seeing how hurt he was his mom sat down in front of him. "He's gone. He's GONE!! Oh my god his parents! What am I going to tell them? How can I break it too them that their son is no longer here?" He begun rocking back and forth clutching his chest. "It hurts mom. It hurts so much." At this point he was wailing. His mom pulled him to her chest and shush him. Except for that time when his dad died she has never seen him in this much pain before and it hurts her. She couldn't bare to see him like this. "I know sweety. I know. Trust me I know." She knew the feeling all to well. Honestly she did and the reason why she understood was because she went through the same thing when the love of her life died. She felt helpless that she couldn't help him. She felt helpless that she couldn't save her son father. From a the crack in the floor board she could see him smiling as he was being dragged off. She till this day she still hasn't figure out why he smiled. He was going to be killed but he still had a smile on his face? She couldn't understand it one bit. If he acting like this, he was very much in love. Yeah anyone would cry over a lost friend but a love one? That's the worst and you just feel like you could die. That you should die. He was clenching her shirt and kept crying into her chest. She just kept rocking him. She couldn't say anything but hum to him. No. It's not that she couldn't but It was just nothing to say in this type situation except to let him let all of his feelings out. She just has to be here by his side. After a couple of hours he finally settled down. She was leaning against the wall as he laid in her arms sniffling. She was running her fingers through his hair. She finally broke the silence. "You love him, don't you?" Startle he sat up and looked into her eyes. "Don't even try to deny it. You yelled at me that you love him before I snapped your neck." He moved away from his mom and looked at the ground. "I... I do. I ended up loving him more than I realized." He replied, barely above a whisper. He couldn't bare to look at her. He couldn't bare to see the anger, the disappoint. "Why didn't you tell me? You let me go on and on about that pretty girl when you wasn't even dating her. When there wasn't even the slightest chance when you actually had something going on with Taeil. When did you start to like him?" He then started to fiddle with his hands getting more and
