Clearly I like to start my chapters off during the night.

Jimin stared at the ceiling as the clock slowly ticked away. A soft breeze swept through the curtains and every minute or so a car would pass by. Her Hello Kitty nightlight shone in the corner of her eye and her body felt so peaceful. Although she had school tomorrow, Jimin was used to staying up late.

She stood up and walked up to her porch. It was absolute freezing in the winter weather but she didn't mind. Jimin gently began to hum her favorite song, Slow Motion by Karina. In the distance she saw a tall figure watch her as she hummed but thought nothing of it. When she felt tired, she returned to her bed and continued to stare at her blank ceiling until sleep consumed her. 

In the morning, she heard a loud, "Jiminah!" 

She jumped up and saw her apartment in disarray. Her clothes, food and Moomims lay everywhere on the floor. Yerin stood at the entrance, mouth agape. 

"What the hell happened here?" Yerin stomped over to Jimin's room.

Jimin thought about anything suspicious that had happened recently but couldn't think of anything. 

"I'm pretty sure I locked the door and windows though." She muttered. 

"Your door is knocked down and a window is broken," Yerin blandly stated.

"What?" Jimin ran over and saw her door laying on the ground and a living room window mercilessly shattered to shards.

"What am I supposed to do?" 

"And may I remind you that there's school today," Yerin reminded.

"Shoot!" Jimin shouted and searched through the mess on the floor for her uniform. 

While Yerin quietly drove them to school, Jimin noticed an odd stain on her sleeve that smelled tangy. 

"Did you have work last night?" Jimin asked Yerin. 

"Yeah. Why?" 

"Nothing. It's just you have pretty noticeable dark circles although you put concealer on."

"Have you asked PD-nim when we can quit for our jobs?" 

Jimin responded, "I think he said when we graduate." 

"So like 3 more months," Yerin counted.

They continued the rest of the ride in silence. 

The classes flew by and they were much like any other school day but all Jimin could think about was her broken door and window. She wondered if JYP would pay for the damage. Did she have home insurance? Did house insurance even apply to apartments? That would be a good thing to teach in school. 

Lunch passed by as well as her afternoon classes until at the end of the day, Seungyoun stopped her.

"Are you busy tomorrow afternoon?" He asked.

"Not really," She replied.

"You wanna go to that new amusement park with Kino and some of the guys from Astro?"

"Who's Astro?"

"They're an undebuted group but they're getting pretty popular. You should check them out."

"Gotta blast!" Seungyoun yelled as he ran down the sidewalk to his fellow member Xuan. 

Jimin waited next to Yerin's car patiently. After another 5 minutes, Jimin got worried. Normally, Yerin was pretty much on time. She calmed herself down. 5 minutes wasn't late. Yerin was probably using the bathroom or talking to a teacher. 

She checked her phone and by now it had been 10 minutes. Jimin glanced through the glass doors and saw Yerin standing in the main hallway. In front of her was a guy who seemed to be confessing to Yerin. She watched as Yerin shook her head and bowed. Yerin began to walk towards the doors and Jimin quickly turned her head. 

When she came out, Jimin asked, "Who was that?" 

"Just someone," Yerin softly answered.

Jimin sang the chorus of Confession Song, "I love you, baby I, I love you," 

"Stop it, " Yerin gently pushed Jimin, "I rejected him anyway,"

"Ooh! Another person in your mind?" Jimin continued to tease.

Yerin ignored her and asked, "Anyway, how are you going to pay for your door and window?" 

 "Well, I did some research and we do have renters insurance and I'm pretty sure the company will pay off the rest. They're the ones who are renting these apartments out for us since there isn't enough room in the dorms. The trainees these days are so young!"

"Says the one who debuted at 15," Yerin snorted.

"Whatever, atleast I looked 15. I mistook some trainees for models other days and I was so embarrassed," Jimin responded, "Oh, and can you drop me off at the bakery? You don't have to wait for me, I'll just take the bus." 

"Sure," Yerin stopped at the fire lane. 

Jimin stepped out and waved a quick bye before walking into the bakery.

JB's birthday was coming up in a couple days and although she could bake something for him, she didn't want to send her apartment up in flames like last time. 

The bakery was quite crowded and she recognized a couple uniforms from her school. Jimin waited in line and checked the latest kpop news on her phone. 

The most recent article was a blurry photo of Yerin and a guy confessing to her. It was rare to see news about 15& and even rarer to see a photo taken and posted within the school. 

Because most of the students were idols, the school prohibited them from taking pictures for privacy. 

Jimin nervously scrolled down to the comments and saw what she expected. Most of them where either "Who is that?" or "That photo is too blurry to justify that that's Yerin." But there were always those few who said, "Who'd want to ask out an ugly girl like her?" and "Yerin's so shameless she must work at a love hotel." 

Before she even realized it, it was already Jimin's turn to order. She ordered a simple strawberry cheesecake and took a couple pictures of the cakes in the displays to drool over later. 

After she paid and took the cake, Jimin sat on the bench next to the bus stop. A couple people whispered and stole glances at her but never directly said anything. The bus ride back to her apartment was so peaceful that Jimin knew something was going to happen. 

She unlocked her apartment door and glanced around. Everything was in the same chaos as it was this morning. She stepped inside and walked around. Everything looked the same. 

Jimin slowly opened the drawer on the desk that normally held all her keys and saw that one was missing.

"!" Jimin yelled as she ran to the JYP building.
