“Baekhyun! Baekhyun! Wake up, wake up!”

Baekhyun blinks his eyes dazedly, he feels like he is surfacing from centuries of sleep. 

“Baek-hy~un!”

He frowns as he squints his eyes open. Bright sunlight streams in through the vast glass window and beyond it, the city of Seoul is awake and alive. He feels … so confused. His body hurts, strangely, he runs a hand over his mouth almost feeling for a mask, feeling for the weight of the cold piercings. 

“Kyungsoo.” he whispers. He scans the room with his eyes. The walls are covered with some sort of art deco made with CD disks and there are scattered paper cranes lying about. Amidst this chaos, Kyungsoo is frantically trying to dress himself and eat at the same time. Kyungsoo, his Kyungsoo, face young and unlined with worry, eyes alive and bright and frantic. Baekhyun’s chest eases up. A little. “Kyungsoo, I saw the strangest of dreams.” he murmurs. 

“Not now, okay, Baekhyun.” Kyungsoo throws in a bunch of files in a briefcase. “Secretary Ahn is coming to get me and the alarm didn't wake me up on time and if he sees you here-” Kyungsoo grimaces. “I’m just going to rush out and meet him halfway so he doesn’t come up here, okay, just make sure….
