Chapter 2:

“Oppa, hurry up!”

“Okay, okay. Wait a minute.” Hanbin answers lazily. He continously stuffing his mouth with bread before Hanbyul finds him and whines like child.

“Oppa, seriously, we’re gonna be late!”

“Fine. Fine. I’m done, princess. Now shut up and go to the car first.”

“I’ll kill you if you don’t come in five minutes, got it?”

“Yes, ma’am.”

Hanbin sighs as Hanbyul walks to the car. He picks up his bag and follows her as fast as possible because nah, he just doesn’t want to hear his sister grumps all the way to the school.

He needs the day to be a good day, without any fuss from someone because it’ll make him piss off and he knows that he just meh when he is in a bad mood, and his friends needs to bear with it.

It is raining in the morning. Hanbin just looking at the waterdrops in the car’s windows, doesn’t have anything to do. Today is so cold, Hanbin can feels his hand is getting frozen because of the weather.

“Oppa, have you come to that bakery? I heard their cakes are really delicous.” Hanbyul faces him, hands pointing a european-design place with a huge plank with “étoile du soir” written on it.

When the car passes the Bakery Hanbyul intented, Hanbin can feels his heart beating so fast. Not because of the Bakery, but because of a someone.

There he is, standing alone in front of the Bakery. His left hand holds an umbrella while the other across his chest. He looks down but Hanbin knows it’s him.

Pale white skin, black smooth hair and tiny figure.

“Kim Jinhwan.”

“Huh? What?” Hanbin looks at Hanbyul who stares at him strangely. Damn, he didn’t even realise that he said that name in his thought.

“Uh, nothing.”

“Okay, then.”

Hanbin shifts his gaze to the window, watching the heavy traffic. But his thoughts is still fixed on that one person, who recently also took over his thoughts since the night when they were on the rooftop together watching the stars.

Kim Jinhwan, Stars.

Hanbin sighs; he just can’t erase that moment from his head.

But he doesn’t know why.

“What are you looking at?”

“Huh?” Hanbin turns his face quickly. Bobby stares at him with a strange look.

“Uh, nothing. I’m okay.”

“Really?”

“Yeah.” He nods and smile simply. “What are you doing?”

“Waiting for you, of course. The others had already gone to the cafetaria.” Bobby checks his watch before turns to Hanbin, “It’s been 3 minutes since you looked out of space.”

“Ah, really—Sorry.” Hanbin stands up. He walks first with Bobby following him at the back. Hanbin doesn’t know why, but it always been Bobby’s habit since their first meeting. Everytime they walk together, he always let Hanbin goes first and then he follows him afterwards.

Hanbin doesn’t complain, though. He feels safe everytime they do that.

They walk in silence and Hanbin doesn’t feel like to talk with anyone so he just shut his mouth, but it just before someone accidentally bumps on him, and Hanbin wasn’t ready for that so in the next second he can feel his body crashes onto the cold floor with that someo
