amaryllis is a beautiful crimson flower that symbolizes splendid beauty, but also worth beyond beauty.
carnations, specifically white carnations, symbolizes innocence and pure love.

can anyone explain the exact origin of this?? i mean... i kinda know, but not in depth and i want to.

i know it's unrequited love, but i think it also plays to how the person thinks about their object of affection. like, if they think they don't like them, then it would still work. kinda. i'm trying to be creative.

my actual summary: two in' idiots who don't understand that what they think is unrequited isn't- that they're throwing up flowers for someone else.
