DING DONG. HyeLee frowned and threw her backpack onto the couch. No one ever visited her and Bomi had gone home earlier. If she needed things, she would call.

She peered through the hole in the door, and slammed it shut when she saw five dark clothed figures waiting there. She was about to bolt to her room when she heard the people’s feet shuffle and a voice say,

“Stop fidgeting!” HyeLee cocked her head to one side and thought for a moment. It sounded rather familiar. She almost laughed as she remembered a scene she read from a piece of fan fiction that was set out like this.

Turning around, she cringed when she smashed into a glass vase. One of her mother’s favourites. Is shattered into hundreds of pieces, and she froze. They would know for sure that she was in the house now.

“PLEASE OPEN THE DOOR, WE KNOW YOU’RE THERE!” the same familiar voice echoed in the empty hallway and she shook her head, even though she knew they couldn’t see her.

“LEAVE ME ALONE!” she screamed, blindly reaching out for a weapon if they forced the door open.

“Hyung, maybe we should try another time.” A voice trilled and she stumbled to the door…
