The only excuse she had was a simple-

"I was busy."

If she had told her chemistry teacher the truth, well, I doubt anybody would've even believed her. And that is how she ended up in detention, the third in her lifetime so far. On the other hand, Jeon Wonwoo had now come to the stage where he lost track of the amount of detention's he had collected over the past school years. But did he care? That was something he'd probably never answer- especially not to her. 

She was someone he had never really noticed before, the only class Wonwoo recalled having with her was chemistry and that was only because he didn't get the worst in the class that day- instead, it was her. But for an average grade student now the lowest in the class, she didn't seem dishevelled at all, she just didn't care. But Wonwoo had other things to concern himself than with a girl he hardly knew. 

Normally he earned detentions from the same teacher, Mr. Park Sungjin, the head of the science department. People never really thought anything weird about it but they probably should've. Any reasonable person would've been able to realise that the drug dealer and the head of science were actually business partners.

I suppose that means the only reasonable person in the school was Jung Yein- no, she was just great at acting as if she didn't exist and, of course, eavesdropping. But when Wonwoo spots her curious eyes through the cracks of the classroom door, rather than calling her out, he smiles.
