After days of polishing our presentation we finally had it all set. Jungkook and I helped each other doing our parts as we sing harmoniously. The song came out good. I can really feel the song since most of it is my unexpressed thoughts.

 

“Are you ready for today?” Jungkook asked as we prepare ourselves for the performance.

 

I nodded my head and smiled nervously.

 

“Honestly I’m nervous.” I admitted to him.

“Don’t be, just try to focus on the performance, don’t mind the others.” He said coolly. Right focus on the song.

 

“Okay thanks for the encouragement.” I replied shaking my nervousness away.

 

The performance from our other classmates went well. Now it’s our turn to go upstage. I can already see the some of our classmates and the other class sitting patiently and anticipating for every performance.

 

I let my gaze wonder around the auditorium and spotted him sitting in the front row. So he’s one of the judges. I suddenly felt like collapsing as our eyes met.

“Are you okay?” Jungkook asked worriedly as he sees the expression on face.

“Y-yes I’m fine.” I answered nervously.

 

“For our next performers let’s all give a warm round of applause for Kim Jiyeon and Jeon Jungkook.” Our Music Instructor announced as we readied ourselves on queue.

 

Jungkook stared at me and muttered a “fighting” to me.

I smiled and nodded in response.

 

The music starts playing as I sing out my words; the words that I wanted to tell him.

I stare at him as I sing every word.

I dropped my hands to my side and turn my gaze to Jungkook as he started singing his part.

Jungkook sings as he gazed into me internalizing his part.

[I stared at him. He was totally focused on us, on me]

[We both let go of our hands and turn to face the crowd]

[I stared straightly at him emphasizing the three last words]

[I sang pouring out all my emotions still gazing at him]

[I gave the crowd a one lost glance scanning until I met his eyes again before turning to face Jungkook again as if we’re ending the communication we had through the entire song]

 

Jungkook held my hand as we bow at the crowd who were cheering wildly asking for an encore.

 

I took a glance of him before going backstage. He’s staring at me like he’s hinting something. I just smiled at him.

 

“You did great!” I turned to the owner of the voice and saw him standing just right few inches from me. I backed a little and bowed politely at him.

 

“Thank you, Sir.” I responded shyly.

 

“Can we talk somewhere from here?” he asked staring at me.

 

Is this it? Are we going to uncover each other’s feelings? Or rather my feelings for him?

 

“Sure Sir Min.” I answered.
