CHAPTER 3

~MINO

Suddenly we heard people clapping around us, congratulating us. This immediately brought us back to reality.

“Congrats Irene-ah I think you found your husband already.” I heard Jackson comment

“Yah Mino-ah I guess the lucky girl is Irene-shi from Red Velvet.” Hani noona teasingly said

I saw Irene blush I’m not sure if it is due to Hani noona’s comment or due to the fact that we made a scene and a lot of people witnessed it.

I’m still a little shock that she will be my partner in the show, I mean the girl that I always admire from afar, and I think this won’t be good due to the fact that I like her and I can’t like her at the same time.

“Ah I guess you’re my partner Irene noona.” I blurted out suddenly

Oh god this is so awkward.

“uhm annyeong mino-shi, please take care of me.” She said smiling back

Oh my god what do I do this is so embarrassing, what a scene we’ve made . . .

A staff instructed us to go to a certain café so that we can talk peacefully and get to know each other.

(On the way to the car that will take them to the café)

I’m still kind of shocked that Mino is my partner, ottoke? How should I act around him, he’s younger than me right?

“annyeong Mino-shi I’m Bae Irene from red velvet, nice to meet you and take care of me” I introduced myself again

“annyeong Irene noona I’m Song Mino from Winner, nice to meet you also, and of course I will take care of you after all your my wife.” Song Mino said smiling

I replied smiling at what Mino said

. . . ~silence . . . . ~silence . . . ~silence . . .

“Wahhh ottoke, this is so awkward” I said to ease up the tension

“Yah I know noona, I guess first meeting is always this awkward.” Mino replied

Ah we finally arrived at the car, I guess there will be a lot of awkward atmosphere inside.

(Inside the car)

“Do you know you’re pretty noona” mino said suddenly

“Eh?” I said not sure if I heard it right

“I said noona you’re pretty” he said pretty loudly this time for me to hear clearly

“hahahaha really?” I said, blushing

“Actually one of winner member said he likes you” Mino said

“And who is it?” I asked curiously

“ME . . .” he said seriously

“hahahaha, I didn’t know you like to joke around mino-ah” I said blushing, I guess while filming WGM I don’t need to put blush on anymore

“hahahaha, but seriously noona I like you” mino said playfully

(Inside the café)

“How shall I call you noona? I think we need to decide how we should address each other.” Mino suggested

“uhmmm how about you stop calling me noona and call me by my real name Joohyun” I told him

“Even your real name sound pretty like you, should I really call you Joohyun?” he asked, confirming it

“Yeah and I think that would be more comfortable, uhmm how about you how should I call you?” I asked

“You can call me whatever you want.” Mino answered

“Mino jagiya (baby/honey), how about that?” I asked

I guess I need to bring out the cheesiness inside me . . .

“Oh I like that Joohyun jagiya” he replied ily

“I think we need to exchange numbers so that I can ask more questions about you when we do not see each other?” I said while taking a bite of my cake

Mino gave me his phone and I gave my phone to him and we typed each other’s number on the phone.

“Your name in my phone will be Jagiya” he said to me

“Okay so will be yours, can I take a photo of you so that I can put it in my contacts” I said

“Sure you can take as many pictures as you want so that when you miss me you can just look at them jagiya.” Mino said mischievously

“Mino-ah are you perhaps a playboy you are full of sweet comebacks? Did you use that to get girls?” I said to him teasingly

“No I’m not a playboy jagiya my sweetness only naturally comes out when I’m with you.” Mino said

“Waahh I’m really speechless when it comes to your antics. You know what you’re seriously corny. Hahahahaha.” I said laughing

Mino-ah is not bad at all, I didn’t expect him to be this playful, I thought before that he is the serious type. I guess that I might actually enjoy doing this show.

Wahhh what a day I wasn’t expecting what happened today. I know she don’t remember me but I remember her clearly.

What the heck, what is this woman thinking? What she’s doing is really dangerous.

“uhmm miss I think you need to go home, you’re really drunk and you might fall off that bridge.” I said to her concerned

“Whatever I don’t want to go home. Aahhhh I HATE YOU, YOU !” She shouted again

I help her get off the rail of the bridge and guided her so she won’t trip

“Hey where are we going?” she asked confused

“We are going to the police station because something bad might happen to you if I just leave you there.” I said

“No, no not the police station that is not where my house is, it’s in that direction.” She pointed

“Okay so you give me the direction and we will go to your house.” I said

“Aye aye captain.” She said in her drunken state

Eh the direction she’s giving me is the same direction where our house is, this seems convenient as I will not go back the same way again

“Waaahhh you’re so cute dosaeng-ah, you have chubby cheeks I want to pinch them” she said while pinching me

“Hey stop that, that hurts.” I said to her

I didn’t notice that we arrived at the apartment complex where I live also. Don’t tell me this noona is also living here.

She suddenly kissed me and blurted incomprehensible words . . .

“Ugh that’s my house drop me off there ugh ugh.” She said

What the heck don’t tell me she’s going to vomit?

“Hey wait where near your house already, don’t vomit.” I said panicking

And the worse thing happened she vomited at my clothes, really great.

Ring ding dong ring ding dong . . . the door opened

Oh my gosh Irene-ah what happened to you?

“I found her drunk so I helped her” I explained

“Eh are you okay boy, I think she vomited at you, ah by the way I’m Irene’s mom”

“Oh don’t worry I’m fine I also live in here so I better go home my parents might be looking for me.” I explained

“Okay if that’s what you want, what is your apartment number so that I can thank you tomorrow?” she asked

“8282, I live in apartment 8282” I said

“Gomawo boy” she said before closing the door

What just happened I was trying to help someone and someone stole my first kiss ahhh ^//////^

That is where I first met her and from that day on I started to admire her. I guess she don’t remember me anymore because just a few month after that they transferred and I kinda look different before, I am fat back then but I guess what happened is a puberty gone right after that.

Tomorrow we will be seeing each other again, I’m nervous and excited. I can’t sleep but I need it after all I need to be beautiful tomorrow for my husband. We exchange message this past week and I learned a lot about him like we have the same blood type, A. and our birthdays are just one day apart mine is March 29 while his is March 30. He even jokingly said that we were really meant for each other. I also found out that he is good at drawing.
