CHAPTER 1

~IRENE

“Manger nim why did you call me?” I asked confused

“Ahhmmm Irene I have a new job for you the PD of WE GOT MARRIED asked me if he can get you on the show. I already talked to the higher ups and they agreed.” He said happily

“But manager nim Joy just recently got on that show and I have a lot of schedules already.” I said perplexed

“Don’t worry Irene-ah one of the programs your on will be finished at the end of the month and filming will start from then on and as you can see Joy got a lot of positive response from that show.” Manager nim answered me reassuringly

“But manager nim I don’t like pretending like a girl in love to someone I barely know” I added annoyed

“The decision is already final we already gave our words to the PD and besides you can get to know your partner, maybe you will like him and be friends with him, and maybe beside that you can have a new image instead of a cold one.”

~3^rd PERSON POV

“Bang PD-nim we already confirmed Irene from red velvet to be one of the participant.” Said by the assistant PD

“Okay good, so have you decided who we will pair her with? We need someone good, especially I want the couple to create a buzz so that our ratings will soar up. What if we get someone from YG? You know the rivalry between the two companies could get this pretty exciting and would create a lot of buzz.” he said it snickering

“But PD-nim that would be impossible especially YG don’t let his idols appear on shows like this.”

“So what, that is not my job, you get paid for that convince Yang Hyunsuk then, I don’t care what methods you use, understand?”

“Yes PD-nim…. But who in YG should we choose?”

“Select someone that has lot of reputation and maybe someone younger than Irene so we can create a noona-dongsaeng atmosphere isn’t that the trend right now?”

“How about Song Mino PD-nim? He’s kinda famous with him joining Show me the money 4 he created a lot of buzz and he is younger and their group debuted at the same time with Red Velvet.” The assistant PD replied enthusiastically

“Okay let’s go with that.” Bang PD nim replied contented

~MINO

“Mino president yang called you to his office” Kang Seungyoon said

“Why does president Yang wants to talk to me Yoonie?”

“I guess he have a new job for you, go get your their already, good luck Mino-ya.” Seungyoon said teasingly

“Whatever Kang Seungyoon, I blurted.”

Eh a new job for me I wander what it is?

-knock –knock

“President Yang it’s me Mino I heard you want to talk to me.” I said politely

“Ah Mino-ah enter, and sit down.” he said glancing at the door

“I didn’t do something wrong president yang right?” I asked jokingly

“Hahahaha don’t worry you didn’t do anything wrong and can’t I call my favorite boy to come here?” he answered smiling

“Of course not president yang” J

“So Mino-ah I have a job for you what do you think about we got married?”

“Uhhhmmm what do you mean about that president?” I asked confusingly

 “Ah just your opinion about it?” he further elaborated

“Isn’t it a show where people get partnered up and becomes a couple, it’s a pretty good show my sister Dana likes watching it.” I answered still confused

“Okay okay good Mino my job for you is to appear in that show.” He said smiling at me

“Ha?! But president yang that is not like you.” I raised my voice a little bit due to surprise

“Hahaha I know mino-ya but I want a new image for YG.”

~IRENE

“Irene unnie I heard you will be on WGM.” Joy said excitedly

“You know unnie WGM is not that bad I actually enjoyed being on the show, yeah at first it is kind of awkward but later on you will be close with your partner. I wonder who will be your partner. Maybe it will be mino you like him right unnie?” she further continued

“Eh I don’t like him. I’m not even sure he knows me, I’m just a huge fan of him and besides that would be totally impossible you know the sm-yg thing. And beside that show is kind of fake I mean many fans will ship the couple and later would be disappointed cause it was just all an act. I’m not saying yours and sungjae is fake though.” I said apologetic  

“I know unnie I like him but what can I do we cannot date and I don’t know if he feels the same way for me.” L

“That’s okay joy-ah…..” I said while patting her back

~MINO

“Wahhh mino is it true you will be joining WGM, someone’s gonna have a girlfriend soon~” Seunghoon sang annoyingly

“Shut up hoonie you’re so annoying”

“Hahahaha someone’s gonna have a girlfriend.” He continued singing annoyingly

I still don’t understand it why did president yang agree to this. So I guess I will be appearing on this show. I wonder who will be my partner. . . I lay on the couch and began to doze off.

“Why did you do this to me? Why me, I hate you!!!”

“What is this girl doing is she going to jump that bridge, oh no . . . Miss don’t do that life is a precious thing, stop that.”

“Who are you?” She asked angrily

“Just a concerned passerby” I answered back

“You boys are all the same, you are all cheaters”

“Miss generalizing is not a good thing.” I retorted back

“Whatever, and I’m not gonna jump of this bridge for that stupid , I’m just releasing my anger, okay.” She answered back annoyed

“Mino, Mino, Mino-ah wake up someone’s looking for you.” Seunghoon wakes me up

Annyeonghaseyo, someone greeted me and I greeted back . . .  she passed me a card
