Setting; post WWII, New York 1947

There is a small flower shop nestled right in the backstreets of downtown New York and despite the seedy, dangerous area, sells the brightest, most fragrant bunches in the whole city. Run by a woman and her beautiful daughter, family owned since it opened in the last decade. With the end of the second world war in the warm months, its doors have been wide open ever since, the holidays of hazy, comfortable weather bringing in customers with stars in their eyes and hope in their mouths, arms full of the blooms with easy going smiles and auras of endless possibility.

But with the winter season just around the corner, the shutters have closed and the shop almost looks abandoned, barricaded. Some say it’s because winter brings infamous, harsh cold and decay and the colorful flowers can only wither away and die, leaving none to be sold. However, with greenhouses and heat lamps and artificial sunlight, wouldn’t winter be the ideal time for business, especially for those looking for a reminisce of summer?

Rumors and gossip spill from the lacquered lips of housewives, swirling all around that flower shop on 1st Avenue like mist itself. It’s said that three brothers visit the parlor religiously. In fact, it’s rumored that the shop is actually open, it’s current bankrupt state all a facade and something sinister is blossoming between the owner’s daughter and the eerie boy known as Ravi.

But what’s to happen when the two are from rivaling crime families?
