It was early in the morning, too early in the members’ opinion. They were getting ready for some schedule when something surprising caught their eyes. Here was standing, in the middle of the living room, Momo, with her workout clothes on, stretching, and it looked like she just comeback home after a jog. It was not the fact that she was doing exercices that was shocking, it’s seeing her already up that was surprising. It was the first time since the start of her break that they saw her woke up before noon.

“Is she ill ?” Nayeon asked Jihyo who was beside hee. They were both observing the girl who was in front of them

“I don’t know…”

“Maybe she’s still sleeping, you know, sleep-walking.”

“Maybe !”

“I can hear you !” Momo interrupted the two who were still talking like she doesn’t exist

“And know she’s talking in her sleep !” The leader continued

“And also look at her smiling for no reason.”

“Are you done yet ?” The blonde haired girl asked them, her lips curling into a smile

“Yep ! But seriously, why are you already up and also why are you so happy ?” Jihyo questioned her

“I just wanted to do some workout, you know, after spending the last month moping around, I kinda neglected myself. And I’m happy because it’s my birthday today, so yeah...” Momo replied

“Yeah, and of course your mood has nothing to do with the fact that someone is coming back today ?” Nayeon

“N-no.”

“You sure about that ?”

“No ?”

Well, honestly speaking, Mina was the reason of her happiness. Since she called Momo three days ago, they kept texting each other, talking about everything and nothing, all the day long. She also keeps thinking about what the others told her, how she might have a chance with Mina. And this, really do her good. Her mood literally improved, she was slowly becoming like her old self, and everyone in the group noticed it, thus making the ambiance within them more relaxed.

The day passed quickly maybe too quickly for Momo. It was time for everyone to come home, eveyone included Mina. Yes she was happy for her return but also really stressed because it would be the first time since knowing Mina’s feelings that she’s gonna see her. She wondered how she is supposed to behave around her. She was so nervous, since yesterday, about that, having not sleep at all thanks to that, and also thanks to the girls who came into her room at midnight for her birthday.

She was lying down, lost in thought when she heard her members, noisy as always, enter the dorm. She asked herself how they still manage to be this cheerful and loud after working all day. Momo didn’t pay any attention to them at first, until someone approached her while clearing their throat. When she turned her head towards the sound, her heart skipped when she saw who was there.

“Hi Momo.”

“Oh h-hey Mina, I didn’t know you were already here !” Momo stuttered, caught off guard by Mina’s presence as she didn’t know that the latter came back with the others

“They finished their job at the same time that my plane landed so they made a detour to the airport.”

“I see. So… how are you ?” Momo asked her while she stood up, being now in front of Mina

“Good, it was nice being away for awhile but it’s better being here, with you... I-I mean with you and everyone…” Mina told her, slighty embarrased by her slip up

“Hmm yeah…”

“Anyway, before I forget, happy birthday !” The younger one said, hugging Momo in a very awkward way, and the latter returned the hug in the same manner
