"As if you care, right?" I sarcastically asked as I locked my eyes with his.
"Of course I do," he confidently replied.
My mind was confused. "Why?"
"Because I loved you."
Loved?Past tense, it means he's over me. He doesn't love me anymore. It stabbed my heart into pieces, I'm dying right now. Dang! That’s more painful!
I sighed then looked away. "Well I guess, it doesn't matter anymore."
