Author's note: I originally planned to write a couple acts first before posting them. But for this one... I just got excited and suddenly got that urge to post this ASAP. So enjoy this one act!!!

Act 5

Zombies cannot sleep. Well, if we tried hard enough, we can get that ‘I’m falling asleep’ sensation, but we never actually fell asleep.

I used to hate the fact that we cannot sleep. I used to hope that I can just spend the rest of eternity sleeping without a care about the world.

But now, it doesn’t feel that bad. I can spend a whole day with Chanwoo, both of us laying on the floor. He is looking into my eyes; I am looking into his eyes. And his eyes are definitely more beautiful than full moon.

Sometimes, my hand will move to caress his cold cheeks. No words are exchanged, because no words are needed. And time flies. It definitely does.

I still wonder… why didn’t I find out about this sooner?

After a few days of intense eyes-locking, we’re ready to move to the next stage.

It happened just like that.

We were getting really hungry, so we hunted for some fresh wildlife together. First date, I guess… Although I won’t call it a date with the amount of gore involved.

After the satisfying meal, we were just cuddling around like what a new couple does. I was laying on my bed and he was on top of me.

And I didn’t know why, but I started kissing him. Starting from his nose, then his lips, then his neck, then down to his shoulder. It went on and on, and soon enough, we were both already exposed to the skin.

But then, worries started to creep its way into our mind.

If we are human, then we would expect to have some kind of increase in body temperature. Getting hotter, you can say. And our heartbeat should go faster too.

But we are zombies. My body is cold, his body is cold, and our heartbeat is pretty much non-existent.

“How is this ‘thing’ supposed to work in zombies?”, Chanwoo innocently asked, emphasis on ‘thing’.

“I… I don’t know… This is my first time too…”, I gave an honest answer.

We just stayed awkwardly silent for a while, before Chanwoo suggested, “We need expert help.”

…

And here we are. The garden. Yes, that garden.

I don’t know what make Chanwoo think they are ‘experts’… But apparently, he does see them as ‘experts’.

“So, you two tried having ?”, Jinhwan bluntly asked.

“Don’t… don’t say that just like that…! It’s… embarrassing…”, Chanwoo said, looking on the ground.

“Eh…? I don’t see what’s wrong with having . But I guess we can censor it…”, Hanbin said.

“So, how does it supposed to work?”, Chanwoo asked.

“What supposed to work?”, Jinhwan teasingly asked.

“C’mon! You know it already!”, Chanwoo exclaimed, obviously flustered.

“Can we even do ‘that’?”, I asked.

“Yes, we can.”, Hanbin answered with a serious tone. Why does he get all serious with this?

“But…”, he continued. “It’s sort of… How should I put this…?”

“Zombies don’t have .”, Jinhwan bluntly interrupted.

“We don’t?”

“We don’t.”, Jinhwan said, matter-of-factly.

Awkward silence…

“All the probably died already.”, he continued.

More awkward silence…

“That doesn’t mean we have erectile dysfunction.”

Chanwoo lets out a relieved breath as soon as he heard that.

“More importantly…”, Hanbin said. “Just because we don’t feel pain anymore doesn’t mean we can neglect safety.”

“Safety?”, Chanwoo asked with an innocent look.

“First thing first, you need to use a lube. It’s not a good idea to rupture your hole, especially since it won’t recover. Also, you need to learn proper …”, Hanbin suddenly gave a sermon on proper ual behaviour.

“Pro… proper !?”, Chanwoo interrupted with a surprised/embarrassed tone while covering his face with his hand.

“Let me show you…”, Hanbin tried to say, but I quickly grab Chanwoo’s hand and drag him away from the garden.

“Hey! I’m not finished yet!”, Hanbin exclaimed.

“We don’t need that much detail!”, I said.

“Ow… Look at Junhoe, so eager!”, Jinhwan said.

After we left, Jinhwan approaches Hanbin. “All that talk is making me a bit… tingly.”, Jinhwan said.

“I guess we have a plan for tonight then.”, Hanbin said.

“Why wait for tonight?”

…

Back in my room.

We are sitting on the floor, staring at each other.

“So…”, Chanwoo hesitated. “Wanna try?”

“We don’t have to if you’re not ready.”

“But… Aren’t you… curious?”

“Well… sort of.”

“Oh, whatever. Let’s just do it!”, Chanwoo said as he suddenly lunges forward and takes my lips for a kiss.
